SC EP:651 It Chased Our Truck

Jay writes “I grew up on a big cattle ranch in eastern Oregon where I hunted and farmed from a young age. I pride myself in saying that can track a cotton ball in a snow storm and guiding many hunts for people for bear, elk, and deer. I have seen and experienced every predator in the Pacific northwest and know what track they lay, and how old. But one experience changed my life forever and I feel maybe you could bring some insight, and or knowledge.

I would like to get into the mountains as much as possible and find new spots or fishing holes. I was traveling east on mountain roads in between cascadia and sisters on a road system on the north side of green peter and foster dam. I would stop occasionally and walk a little bit of the road to ensure it wasn’t overgrown or sunk in. It was around the first of May nobody goes up where I was because it can be a bit dicey. But i would check if there was any spots i could drop off the side and fish or gold pan. I did this until i hit a dead end. I was literally in between sisters and Cascadia when i had to turn around and head back to another road system. On the way back I rounded a corner and saw a pile of rocks on the road. They were stacked in a pyramid.. big from small, top to bottom. They were not there on the way up, but almost in the middle of the road on the way back. So I parked the my jeep, I was about 30 yards from the pile.

I exited my jeep and walked to the pile, but was in shock.. this is how the Iraqis would mark IEDS, and almost in shock. There was and embankment going up to my left almost vertical about 30 feet, and tapered off a little bit to the top of the hill, and almost a sheer drop off to my right. As I studied the rock pile for a few seconds something started to charge me from on top of the mountain on my left. I’m always carrying a gun so I drew my pistol and held it where the sound was coming from and as soon as I drew it, it stopped. I was frozen with my pistol held where the sound came from with the mentality I’m about to smoke this bear. I have about 30 feet to move left or right while dumping 230 grains of hollow points in it, but it never showed. It froze when I did.. I held that position for about a minute when I decided to start moving towards my vehicle. As I moved towards my jeep I could hear it parallel me on the ridge above out of sight but I never dropped my weapon. That’s when i knew something else was going on. I have experienced bear, cougar and every predator in our mountains and a bear wouldn’t have known if someone drew a pistol. So I was thinking human possibly? But didnt know, because how would it know to stop when I drew down? As I got to my jeep and held for a bit to make sure I wasn’t imagining things, or hearing things.. I switched to off hand with my pistol while holding up the mountain, started my jeep and drove off.

I was so confused when I drove off that I headed straight to my hunting partners house and told him we needed to head up there to see what’s going on. When we got back up there the rock pile was still there.. and we heard nothing but silence for the first few minutes.

It was around 10 minutes of studying the rock pile and seeing strange tracks behind us going up the cliff when we heard whoops. They were in sequences of 3 directly to our south. It was just a whoop, whoop, whoop. It happened until towards the Bend of the road to the north started doing a whoop.. this was also in a sequence of 3. We were super confused, then around the Bend of the road on the east side the whoops started there… and both spots in between whoops started, but at this point there was only 1 whoops per area. It sounded like a grouse mixed with Hercules or hulk. Idk… but not right..we decided to get out of there.

We went back 2 days later with a fire team and track whatever it was. When we got above the cliff it was like a nuke went off. Tree barks everywhere… loke 8-10 in dug firs pulled from the ground and shoved top first into the ground. Root was and all. Tree breaks on break breaks. I’ve never seen anything like it. The strangest thing was we found 3 separate tracks, human like barefoot tracks different sizes. It was the strangest thing I’ve ever encountered and from this day I will not go into the woods alone. Some of the guys I was with say wiccans and their summer solstice festival, some say bigfoot. I can only say what the tracks tell me, and no human could have came at me that fast down the mountain, and stop when I drew my pistol.”

 

 

Kelly writes “We was riding dirt bikes in the back country of Central Utah. When we stopped to gauge the trail things were just weird. Dead no birds nothing my little brother pointed out to me. My cousin walk up the trail to see how bad it gets when he call my name to come look. As I stated walking I had a really weird gut feeling. As we’re walking up hes walking down. He catches something out of the corner of his eye to left up the Hill. Screaming as he drops to the ground faster than I’ve ever seen anyone I see a large tree coming horizontally at him breaking smaller trees as it went. I looked to see what was going on and I saw the biggest thing that I ever seen. There is so much more to this encounter id be typing all day I’m not very good with emailing I apologize for the grammar and spelling and punctuation.

    That poor lady Friday you had on , I was laughing laying in bed with my earbuds on lol . The reason I was Laughing because we have a Jacuzzi & Pool and I’ve thought about the same thing whenever I’m out there alone at night , My hubby and I go out with a towel wrapped around us naked as a jay bird, ?Well that’s what a Privacy Fence is for Right .

    Let’s say you owned a house somewhere next to the woods. As luck would have it, Bigfoot begins making regular visits of the kind we’ve heard about in all these great stories. Instead of dealing with it, you decide to move. When prospective buyers ask why you are moving, what do you tell them?

      … most would tell them all the fine improvements they’ve made and the fact that their house is a real bargain. What else would they say? People do not (generally) believe in Bigfoot.

      Tell them that wild animals have been coming around and getting to close. Make sure they are warned. that u belive they are predetory ..If pressed for details I u want to be honest might just have to tell them….

    @kelly ~ exactly why I believe it’s a shame that the powers that be don’t inform the population of what really is out there. The way I see it is, they have blood on their hands. How many kids, and others have to come up missing before someone higher up comes clean? It’s the devil alright, but not the one we think of, huh? The Lord bless and heal you and your brother, and his friend, after what you guys saw and experienced. And, oh, I used to live in the same area, and walked around by myself not thinking a thing of it! OMG. And I agree with you. Wes does a great service for all those who’ve experienced this, and for those (like myself) who have not.

      My theory is why they don’t barge in homes more often is that they may have bee warned by God, They may know there could be high price for the murder of mankind. Some don’t seem to care and do it anyhow butthere seems to be something holding them back,.most of the time. They may bang on hosues toe ntice people into a fight with them so they can do something. There may some kind of baragn made with God that they can’defend’ themselves so to break the rule they try to prod people into situations. I dont know of course. Just thinking out loud.

    I don’t live far from this area. When I was young I camped there with my family for the summer whenm3y Dad worked at Foster Dam. I’m trying to convince my husband to go hiking there. He has not wanted to anywhere where there had been sitings. The great thing is he acknowledges that Sasquatch does exist. Thank you Wes for that. I believed since I saw the Patty film when I was a kid. He didn’t. I would go with youu and Jay in a heart beat.

    Kelly you had a couple of scary episodes! I get a funny feeling when I see logs across the road. I get upset thinking they fell off the truck, why didn’t they stop and pick them up ! I haven’t been strong enough to move them so have just moved on. Maybe that has been a good move for me. Guess I better just pay attention more. Hearing about the one animal keeping up with the truck,
    trying to grab the back gate of the truck, …. Wow.
    I think it was good that you and your brother could talk about what you both saw…..even if you didn’t resolve what it was. Not good to keep that shock inside. It really is too bad the cousin won’t talk about it when he first saw the animal. Did it touch him? Did he run into it with bike?

    Jay sorry talking about your experience brought the bad feelings back again. When I hear some of these stories I feel it would be better to actually see the animal than to always wonder…..but then I have not been in a position like you have. It was good you took dependable friends back with you. It is nice you do have friends you can discuss things like this with. Wes thanks for a great show.

    Great show, Wes. Thank you for the riveting stories. The guy that went back not once, but twice to the area where he and his partner were circled by the sasquatch and then when they went back the third time and saw all the uprooted trees. I wonder if that is some sort of signal from alpha males to the younger, male challengers that the alphas are still in charge or if it is a signal between clans that this is one clan’s territory? The guys who were chased by the possible dogman, WOW! I’ve heard those stories before and that would freak me out so bad I’d never go out at night again … anywhere!       Miss Kendall S, you are so right about Wes making his guests feel safe talking to him. He puts them right at ease. In most interviews it sounds like Wes is just talking to a friend. He never rushes them or makes them feel any negativity. I really admire the way Wes really listens to each guest and makes them feel comfortable talking about something so incredible…

    Great show….thanks Wes and guests. Jay, it is a bit bizarre that you have an encounter and there is a rock stack involved. And even more bizarre that it wasn’t there on your way up and is on your way out. Just last weekend we went back up on the mountain where we first encountered some rock stacks. The original ones were totally gone but there were a bunch of new ones that were bigger. I have been trying to figure out the why of those stacks for three years, we go back and there are all new ones….then I listen to your encounter and it involves a rock stack. I had convinced myself this was hikers doing this and now I hear your encounter. There is no reason for hikers to be where we keep finding these rock stacks…none. Nobody I talk to about it can figure out why or knows why hikers would be in that spot. My husband was told 3 years ago by a local lady that she had seen Bigfoot on that mountain. He believes her, I believe her but most around here just think she’s nuts. The point I am coming to is that after seeing the stacks again last weekend and hearing your encounter it just blows my mind that a Bigfoot could build one that quickly. They are so well balanced. And they are so mesmerizing. Every time we take someone up there to see them, they become enthralled, take tons of pictures, etc. It is almost like they draw you to them and I know that sounds crazy. Thanks for sharing Jay….I had convinced myself it was hikers and now here I go…..wondering again.

    Great episode. Kelly absolutely saw a DOGMAN in his second encounter, up close and personal – terrifying….he should contact Vic Cundiff at Dogman Encounters to tell that story and go into more detail about the appearance. Vic has helped many others deal with and get over the night terrors and other PTSD symptoms of other dogman witnesses since he has interviewed hundreds of them.

    We use to camp up at Forster lake. My adult kids still do. I use the hear something walk around our camp after we would go to bed. I would tell my husband I hear something but he didn’t believe me back then but he does now with all the other encounters we have had.

    Really good episode. If this had been recorded on camera in person with these guests just you and them sitting there in a relaxed atmosphere, a nice tv stage set or whatever that to me would be great. The body language would really add to the stories. I love just listening, you can hear the truth being told, you can hear the truth in people’s voices. I feel that if SC was in a televised format it would be one of the most watched and if not just very successful tv shows on tv. I would like to see you do that, record a couple really great guests and then post it on a youtube channel and see how successful it is. I understand you probably have good reasons not to go on TV with your show. Just tell the would be Gatekeeper to refer to rule #1 Wes dont have no Gatekeeper and thats why Wes spins whatever tunes he wants. Anyhow nice show man. Like this show!

    What is freaking me out right now is that there are two teenage girls that went missing this week in exactly this same area

    The second guest is correct, in the second of his accounts,–Utah Lake is a very residential area, constantly full of people engaged in all kinds of recreational activities. I lived in the Provo area for 6 years and went down to the lake almost every day to walk my dogs–it’s a gorgeous place, right there under the Wasatch mountains. I know right where the guest is talking about. Hard to fathom that something ugly is out there, but I believe it.

    Sweet Home Oregon is in western Oregon and is off to the east of I-5 .
    Cascadia is there also and has a campground near water, where there are Bigfoot encounters in camp .
    You can read encounters from there in a book written by someone on Amazon.
    It is not a long drive from me.

    Hey Wes, you were wondering why they don’t attack when they are obviously superior. I think they are not allowed to attack under most circumstances. You may ask who it is that makes the rules they must live by. I think they are created beings and it is their creator. I don’t think they are made by any natural process, such as nephlim are purported to be made. When all other animals can attack at will, this one seems not to have the free will to do so. It’s very interesting as is the reaction to those who see them.
