SC EP:1118 That’s when I saw this thing

Blake writes “Hey Wes, I listen to your show with my pops a lot we’re both huge fans. I just wanted to share a encounter I had 2 years ago. I can’t really type well so I would love to talk about it over the phone maybe but I’ll give you a brief summary. Me and my dad love nature I mean the mountains, hiking, camping anything with outdoors. One day me and my dad decided to do “bushcraft” for a day. Not clear about the time but I know it was reaching sunset so somewhere around 8 to 9 since it was summer.

We shot up to Ashford WA which is known for bigfoot encounters. After doing our little “bushcraft” we decided to head back. On our way back my dad parked in this little game made trail off the rode. At this point it was it was still light out but you can see the sun set. My dad suggested I should go with him down the trail to do our bigfoot call. Me being tired wet, sandy, just overall dirty I decided to stay behind. After a little bit my dad turned the corner of the trail till he was out of site. Keep in mind my dad is wearing blue jeans, orange shit, and a pair of brown shoes. After he turned the corner I thought it would be a good idea to hide in the back of our car to scare him when he comes back. After ten minutes of no return I peaked my head up to see when he was on his way back. That’s when I saw this thing it was at least 7-8 feet tall. It was jet black with some bark or moss tangled with us fur.

My dad is wearing bright colors this thing was jet black. No one was out there besides me and my dad. This thing was carrying a fallen tree or a huge log. He was carrying it like he was playing tug of war. Like both his hands on it while jumping back like something was pulling it back. Sometimes he would stop and pound the stick with his fist. I really couldn’t believe it so I peeked my head out the window to get clearer view. I saw more detail too much to write down so I prefer bto explain it over call. I yelled “NEBRASKA” as that’s me and my dad’s code word for trouble. I went back into the car to grave my phone to see if I can record it but by the time I peeked back out he was gone and the trees were moving like something ran past it and keep in mind… There was no wind. There was so many more details I would like to tell you.”

We will also be speaking to Tracy. Tracy writes “Hey Wes, I had a run in with something in the La Sal mountains just outside Moab , Utah in 2022 while hunting deer with my cousin. I never saw the creature but had something come into our camp and scream at us in the middle of the night and screamed for hours, while this thing was screaming something was circling our little tent and I could hear it breathing, it was a depressing sad breathing.

Also the day before this occurrence while wearing camouflage and sitting in the bush glassing for deer an 80 foot quaky tree was pushed over toward us. Despite there not being any wind and it being a beautiful calm day, we just chalked it up to being a weird coincidence…. I’m interested in finding out if you have had other encounters in this area, thank for all you do and I love your show.. I didn’t even register Bigfoot or even had it in my vocabulary but this experience led me to your show and now I’m looking to other possibilities. Thanks.”

        It’s funny skate creek is about fifteen minutes around me. I live out in eatonville. Last night, I heard some coyotes and some dogs start going off, in the midst of that, there was three loud screams. Next thing I know everything just went dead silent.
        And of course, my wife being the way she is when I said that’s a sasquatch, she rolled her eyes. I was like, really? What else makes everything stop and go dead quiet? And you even looked at me when you heard the screams. For a skeptical believer, especially with all the stuff we’ve dealt with at our own house.I think by now she would take me a little more serious when I say things like that.

    The Christmas season is hard for me, been losing people like I’m 80…well, that’s how it used to be, not so much for people anymore 😔. Tis been 2 years since I lost my most precious best friend, Crystal. I think of Sasquatch Chronicles like Shark week. I Love it! I believe they are real, but like sharks…I don’t want to meet one. It does calm me down so I can sleep. I listen constantly. I survived a murder suicide, my husband did not survive that night. I totally can relate to not being able to talk about the trauma. All of the episodes help me so much!!!! Thank you Wes! Thank you to all of the guests!!! I hope everyone has a blessed New Year 🙏 ❤️

    I’m obsessed with these sightings of drones/orbs so keep it up if ya want. I seem to remember giant skulls being found on Catalina Island in southern California — or did I dream that?

    I think it was a dogman on the hill not happy they were there and a Sasquatch watching over them in camp? that might explain the worried sound’s coming from the creature closest to the tent. Lots of stories of people saying Sasquatch has protected them frim dogman.

    A while ago Amazon announced it would be testing drones to be used for deliveries. So the increase in drones over the northeast makes sense since it was right before Christmas. Also the sightings have decreased since then. That’s my theory anyway.

    If they were nefarious interlopers from foreign countries, they would not be flying so low with lights blinking in full view… do you think?

    I saw a 12-foot tall alpha-male from 10 feet away crossing the 2 lane hey at Ashford in 1987… it looked like a Silverback gorilla crossed with an Olympic athlete.

    regarding the giant remains. the officials that would have responded would have been. 1. local law inforcement. 2. depending on proximity a tribal official. 3. either the Utah state historic preservation archaeologist or BLM archaeologist. having worked as an Archaeologist in the southwest on incidents where human remains were found this incident sound highly spurious. I’m sure Kathy Starnge would agree.

    has anyone seen the recent video circulating on X of the man from South Carolina having the trees broken in his backyard? it’s probably a minute long video of large trees being shaken around while he shines a flash light into the trees. you can’t see anything but the trees moving. wondering if anyone has any input?

    I honestly believe that the 1990 The Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act was not designed to protect Indian graves. This act can effectively stop ANY digs if they “believe” it may be Native American. It’s a catch all law. People dig up giant skeleton remains every few years. The Smithsonian has a way to deal with this little problem.

    That’s funny, I have the pro account with flightradar24 where they tracked Santa’s sleigh this year and I was sharing it with the grandkids.
    they’d come back to me just about every hour and ask me to pull him up on the radar just like they said happened over radio back then.
    Santa’s sleigh was averaging 60k mph over the oceans down to 2k mph at any given time as we watched.

    Interesting about those bones. Why the conspiracy about them? Only reason I can think of is that there must be a few still alive. I think SC did an ep where a woman was driving home and saw one laying on the road. SUVs in that spot the nxt day. Congrats to pops for 111 days toxin free. It’s a huge achievement to overcome addiction. And, I know it’s a daily battle doing the work. Pops must be doing something right because he has a fine son. All the best to the guests tonight.     I get being scared but letting the entire night go by without checking to see what is walking around outside your tent when you are with weapon even though it’s a small as it was the weapon that is, I just couldn’t do it. I couldn’t do it.
