SC EP:1105 Humanoid Around 7.5 Feet Tall

Ken writes “I listen to your podcast and finally have the courage to talk about this. I’m not an outspoken person about this incident due to people thinking I’m crazy but I figure now is the time to come out about it. My Three other friends who this happened to are still scarred until this day and refuse to speak on it.

So here’s what happened at Cuyahoga Valley national park. I was camping with some friends. There was 4 of us going up there to camp / hike and enjoy the outdoors. This happened sometime in July or August of 2019 but I can’t remember exactly what day it happened. Just as we set up camp we had the bright idea to go hiking. This was right about 7-8 pm at night when the park was closed but there was still daylight out.

We started hiking near the Cuyahoga river on the towpath trail. We were hiking for a good half or so down this path and all of a sudden we had something throwing sticks that slowly progressed to rocks at us. At first we thought it was teens playing tricks on us but the longer it progressed we started to smell something pungent and our hair stood straight up.

By this time the sun had gone completely dark and all we had was our phone lights to guide us. We all started running back to camp as quick as we could but whatever was tracking us was faster bigger and stronger. We eventually got winded then it all stopped. Dead silent the woods were extremely quiet and still and very eerie. Suddenly we heard the loudest growl we ever heard sort of like an angry wolf / bear.

A friend of mine who had a firearm on him shined the weapon mounted light into the tree line where we were and we all caught a glimpse of what appeared to be a giant man / humanoid around 7.5 feet tall and as shown as the light shined on it it retreated backwards and never to be seen again. We then gathered our breathe and ran back to the camp as quick as we could and got into our tents.

As we slept we heard multiple loud sounds outside our tent and sticks breaking. In the morning when we woke up our camp was destroyed and a pile of rocks was stacked up by the fire pit. We all agreed to never camp there again.”

My take on why the Sasquatch didn’t hurt them is that humans bring trouble. They probably have a nice set up in that park for hunting, shelter, etc…They don’t want police/park ranger/search parties disrupting their way of life. Thank you Ken for sharing your story. Wes, the rescue story at the end is heart lifting. ❤️ Thank you for sharing. 🇺🇸

I got to see André the Giant when I was a kid. He was stomping out heading to the wrestling ring for the next match. As he passed me, he looked down at me and growled! Scared the chit out of me! I quickly found my seat and sat down lol! He was a huge man!!

Enjoyed Ken’s story & want to say thank you for playing The Rest of the Story about the 9/11 Boatlift. I had not known & was touched by your comments & listening to a simple story of greatness.

I wonder how far away the pile of rocks were from where the beans had been? I think it would be pretty obvious that it was an exchange if the rocks were right where the beans had been. that seems like the most logical explanation, because it’s not like they have money to exchange, the things in nature are the only things that they have that they see as valuable. so maybe the rock pile was a thank you or a payment of sorts. I think we can all agree that it was some kind of message, whether or not we agree on what it meant. but the fact that it was peaceful in the sense that it didn’t harm you, I think it was some sort of message of Goodwill or payment for taking the beans.

Great show Wes with Ken! Thanks for playing the 9/11 boat story. We don’t always get to see different stories that are out there.

I’m hoping with the new administration, they will make sure the declassified files get pushed out and not blocked like they were last time. I would love to see what files they have on Sasquatch!

I don’t think these things are inherently evil, at least not as a whole. I don’t think they’re out for blood. I think the majority of them just want to be left alone, and aren’t interested in harming anyone, and even if you do have the occasional rogue violent sasquatch, I think that they’ve probably learned that harming one single human leads to hundreds of humans who come looking. that being said, I am certain that there have been rare instances where they have made humans disappear, for one reason or another. whether they felt threatened, or they were starving, etc. they’re definitely not above consuming humans if it’s a matter of survival, because even humans consume other humans in desperate situations. I think they’re definitely curious about us, and that they like to observe us, whether out of curiosity or for entertainment purposes, but would rather not interact with us openly. they have probably concluded, rightly so, that humans destroy everything they touch, so it’s best to keep us at arm’s length. I think the majority of the ones who show themselves, or use any kind of aggression just want to scare us away and want to live their lives in peace. that’s not to say that there aren’t some that have mal-intent. they’re probably like humans, some good, some bad, but I don’t think they’re inherently evil as a whole. I personally hope that they never get “discovered.” I used to want them brought to light, just so I could say “I told you so” to all the people who rolled their eyes and laughed at me. but I don’t care about that anymore. the older I get, the less I care what other people think of me. I KNOW THE TRUTH. and even though my loved ones can’t fully believe me until they actually see one (because no one can REALLY, TRULY believe until they actually see one), they are supportive, and they believe that something must’ve happened to me. and that’s all that matters to me anymore. I hope they remain a myth in the eyes of the greater population, because they deserve to live their lives and walk free, just as we do. if they were acknowledged by the mainstream, then the mystery and the allure, and the enigma of Sasquatch would be gone. this podcast would be irrelevant and pointless, or at least not nearly as interesting. I love the enigma, and the mystery, it’s fun and it’s exciting. I think that these “people” are at least partially human in some aspect, and therefore they deserve all the same freedoms that we enjoy. they had the same wants and desires as we do; they just want to live, have freedom, and be happy. I think we should stop trying to prove their existence, and just let them exist. like we exist.

Wow Thanks to both the guest and the uplifting recounting of the evac. It made me tear up…the majority of us ARE good..and maybe it does take some adversity to bring that out. THAT is what humanity is about! that is brotherhood!

  8. Karla G

the 9/11 thing at the end was really touching. I will tell you one thing. Two months ago, I was fully convinced that humanity had gone to hell in a handbasket. I thought that did truly good people who were left in this world were few and far between. and then a hurricane named Helene ravaged my community, washed away my work, my neighborhood, and took the lives of some of my neighbors. the only thing that kept me upload, no pun intended was the fact that my house is 30 feet up on a rise. I watched houses, vehicles, and probably some people float down the river that my house sits on. as soon as day light broke, there were already farmers putting themselves in peril, coming with their tractors to try and help get us out, and clear the roads. people were going door to door to check on neighbors they’ve never even met. after the roads were cleared enough to navigate, just about every car that drove by would stop and ask if you were okay if they saw you standing outside. then after a couple of days, the strangers started pouring into our little community. people bringing food, necessities, word from loved ones. for 5 days my family didn’t know whether I was dead or alive, and I heard that if I drove up on the parkway I might be able to get a signal. so I did that, and as soon as I got up there my tire blew out, due to the pieces of wood on the road from downed trees. this was right about sunset, and I was fully prepared to spend the night on the parkway because I was on an incline, and so I knew I wouldn’t be able to change my tire by myself because of that. as soon as I got out of my car to look at my tire a truck carrying 3 firemen volunteering from NYC rolled up, followed by a random man on a motorcycle, and they all stopped and the four of them got to work like they had been expecting me and proceeded to change my tire with a smile. It took them over an hour because my car was on an incline, working in the heat and humidity, but they never lost their smiles and their friendly demeanor. one even gave me his business card and told me to contact him if I ever needed help. then they all left and happily went on their way. I stayed up on the parkway for several hours after that trying to find signal, unsuccessfully, and I was the ONLY person up there, I never saw another car. I think maybe those firemen and the guy on the motorcycle were angels, at least they were to me. they were the only other human beings up there, and they showed up exactly when I needed them, helped me, and then they were gone. the next day a woman that I have never seen before my life showed up at my house, a complete stranger, who had been contacted on Facebook by my family, on one of those Facebook pages where you could try and find out about any missing loved ones. she drove all the way over from TN to NC to see whether I was okay, just so she could get word to my family. and not only that she brought me food. I offered her to come in the house, and she said “I can’t stay honey, I’ve got other people to go find.” and then later that afternoon a man showed up and said “your family is looking for you, and I’m here to check on you and let them know you’re okay.” these are civilians, not paid workers, just people trying to help. Later that night, a neighbor whom I barely knew brought me some gas, and would not accept payment for it, and it was enough to where I finally was able to drive a couple counties over, where I found a little restaurant that had guest wi-fi, which I used to finally contact and FaceTime my family. which meant everything to me. I’ve never been so happy to see faces of my family in my life. that was the loneliest week of my life. the man and the woman who came to my house had told them that they had seen me and that I was okay, but my family wasn’t sure whether or not to believe them because they found it hard to believe that strangers would drive to a different state to check on the well-being of a stranger just out of the goodness of their hearts. anyway, this was in the middle of the night when I was parked at this restaurant using the Wi-Fi. the owner showed up wanting to know why I was parked in his parking lot at 2am. when he found out what I was doing, he told me to stay as long as I wanted, and to let anybody else who needed to use the Wi-Fi know that they were welcome to come and use it. then he went inside and got me food and three bags of ice, gave me a hug, and told me to come back the next day and he would feed me. people were bringing hot meals door to door just about every day. people were going door to door asking if they could pray with you. these were not agencies being paid by the government, these were private civilians, volunteers, doing it out of the goodness of their hearts. I’ll never forget one of the days that I was driving around looking for signal and I went to head down the mountain and saw a convoy of about 50 power trucks from all over the country headed up our way, coming up the mountain in a line. it was the most welcome sight ever. I burst into tears. all the cars stopped and cheered them on as they passed by, and all of the linemen in the trucks waved and smiled right back. I could go on and on and on, but those are just some examples, and although I hate that people lost their lives and their homes, something good came out of Helene – I found out that there are still good people left in the world. THERE ARE A LOT OF THEM. I’m here to tell you that humanity still abounds, people. it turns out that the good, decent folks are still the majority, and that humanity and love for your neighbor is still is alive and well. God still blesses the USA. 🤍🇺🇸

Thanks so very much for your story Karla G. A story of utmost tragedy and then the heavenly story of humans coming together to make life better and checking up and helping folks they did not even know, and even from far away. Amazing. This was a time that tried mens/women souls, and by God they came through.

@ Karla G thx for sharing that, glad you’re ok. That’s such a beautiful story amongst the tragedy and deviation of those storms. sending peace and love from Maine

Such a shame about your Dayton friend taking to drugs to cope. Also the other that will not talk about it, but this happens to many witnesses. However there is another National Forest in Ohio that is many times larger and contains many more Bigfoot sightings and encounters. The Wayne National Forest in SE, Ohio 250,000 acres in the Appalachian foothills. Named after General Anthony Wayne that made Ohio and parts on Indiana safe for the new pioneers. He signed the Treaty of Greenville, in my county of Darke, county seat of Greenville, with numerous Native tribes in 1795 just 10 miles from me. I so agree with you Wes about the rock gifting. Something similar happened to me in early June of 2014, six months (last Friday of Nov. 2013 20 degree night at midnight) after a Bigfoot had been on my property and tapped on my window once, than 30 seconds later 3 times just as I lay down to sleep. It left 16 inch x 7 inch tracks I found the next morning. The June incident was 3 hardened ears of corn, the harvesters never get all the corn, from the previous fall harvest ( 600 acres of corn outside my backyard) layed next to my patio during the night all facing north and south and equidistant from each other. Truly great encounter and in my state, Ken. I agree a really good video of one is needed, Ken, but we do have the Patterson/Gimlin film that gets better and better with enhancements. In the meantime this trail cam photos just happened on Nov. 2, 2024 in the Connersville, Indiana area and sent to Rocky Mtn. Sasquatch. I think it is a genuine Bigfoot (about 1 hour SW of me) as in the last photo you can see the whitish coloro of its left foot that is lifted vertical just like Patty. And the subject is stooped a bit and arms seem longer than human.

Wow Karla that was a beautiful stiry, thabk you for sharing that. Reminded me of times when I knew God was watching out for me. You know, needs met before you could ask.

Wes, I’ve been a listener since I suffered a concussion in 2022, but I have never joined until now. I love all of your episodes and my mind has been BLOWN by the amount of people who have witnessed bigfoot or another cryptid. It is apparent in the voices of the (mostly men) who have shared their stories that they are telling the truth and are greatly effected by their experience. I will be sending you an email about several different topics… However, I want to comment on this episode because I greatly appreciate the 9/11 tribute at the end of the episode. Did you edit this segment? If not, where did you find it? I am from Oklahoma and I remember where I was on 9/11 and how surreal it was to watch on the TV from half a country away, but moreover, I am touched by the people who were determined to help those in need. I was in high school during the Oklahoma City bombing and my mother worked at the building just south of the Murrah building. I used to rollerblade with my friends at the Murrah building because it had awesome handicap ramps. My mother’s office was Oklahoma Gas & Electric and was mostly glass – but the bomb was on the north side of the Murrah building, so while her building did suffer broken windows and minor structural damage, it was mostly unscathed. I remember the scathes of workers from outside Oklahoma who came in to help rescue those stuck in the Murrah building after the bombing. I am not sure if the captains featured in your segment will ever see this message, but I want all of you to know how greatly appreciated your perspective is – “if you can just save one life then it is worthwhile..” [sic] And how much your sacrifice must have meant to each and every person that you affected that day. Who knows how many lives were affected overall by simply helping one individual off Manhattan. Thank you so much for sharing this story, Wes, I have not heard it before. <3

Dear Karla G; it sounds like to me God sent you an Angel or two. The firemen, and the woman stand out to me. I am SO SORRY, you went through all of that pain, and had to see and experience all that suffering. Pain sucks, but struggle only makes us stronger. I’m glad there were so many silver linings in all of those storms, and glad you are OKAY. I hope it helps to know, that at your darkest times there are strangers praying for your well being. I can promise you that, thank you for sharing your story. I know it couldn’t have been easy to rehash it. I hope your future is nothing but smooth sailing. God bless you, love.

I think what they do is try to intimate humans so they don’t come back. The placing of the rocks I believe is more of a show of strength rather than an exchange for the beans. For the most part they don’t attack humans because that will invite more humans to the area to investigate the attacks or deaths which is they last thing the want.

  15. Danny K

Wes says that he “doesn’t have one that he is studying in his garage” so much, that I’m starting to think that he definitely has one that he is studying in his garage lol

I believe the “rock stacks” are referenced in the Bible. I just started reading it from the beginning for the first time around the release of this episode. My opinion is that Sasquatch is proving itself yet again to be “fallen ones”, “watchers”, demons or Nephilim. The mimicry, trickery and mockery is everywhere. As above so below.

    Read KJV Genesis 28:18, 28:22.
To me, Genesis describes the “genes-is” or origins between man and nephilim, how some of mankind were deceived. If you read with a pure heart you can tell when words are from God The Creator simply by knowing how good, pure and forgiving he is while giving adversity and growth, versus when people are deceived into their darkest desires and temptations… I’m not sure if many people are comprehending this book how I am or not.

The Nephilim might use rock stacks as a mockery to the way people used to worship God in Heaven in BC times, but also to establish the area and incite fear as a symbol for THEIR god or lord of the underworld claiming territory.

Imo the Sasquatch symbols, structures and interactions are just tests of faith or adversity by God for mankind to once again overcome, it’s proof of Heaven and Hell and the legitimacy of the Holy Bible to this day. Everything in there is very deep and thought provoking and you have to surmise who/what the different characters are and who or what being or intelligence is interacting with who/what and who’s side they’re on or worshipping.

    Also read Genesis 31:45-52

If you pay attention who the characters are in good graces with and their motives from the beginning, knowing the difference between good and evil and what leg of their journey they might be, it might reveal clues to which spiritual beings they are likely communicating with at different times.

Just because it may say words like God, Lord or Angel it might at times mean something completely different as dark or light, directed towards a different entity depending on who’s using the term and in what instance. That’s what I’m getting from it at least. 🙏🏼🌞

Did Ken get any photos of the wrecked camp, rock stack or tracks? Also curious if the number of rocks stacked was the same as the number of people in the group… Just a thought.

    • Ron S

If the number of stacked rocks were the same as the number of people in camp, it could represent something dark claiming the number of souls their side winning over, kind of like successive tree knocks that may seem to oddly match the number of people in a research group… I’ve noticed this commonality anyway.

      • Ron S

It’s the same thing with Dogman… They represent the wolves potentially preying on the lost sheep that escaped the Shepherd. Earth is the field for grazing and also the field of battle. There ARE wolves as well as wolves in sheep’s clothing, there are also sheep protected by the Shepherd… The wolf never seems to learn though, doesn’t always see clearly until it’s too late and suddenly realizes they weren’t all easy prey or even all sheep, but a pack of vigilant, well cared for and strong sheepdogs within the fold.
        God bless

I lived in NYC when 9-1-1 occurred. From my apartments roof i could see people walking across the 59th St. Bridge at 9 pm that night. Completely covered in dust. They looked like concrete people. It was an unreal scene. The 6 months after it were the best 6 months of brotherly love the city ever experienced. Then it went back to shit.

Hey wes I’m Canadian and one time I was watching a hockey game while a woman was singing the American national anthem in Canada and the sound failed on the microphone so 18,000 Canadians in the stands finished singing the whole American anthem with pride. meaning Canadians got your back! I was happy to see the american ppl put all bs aside and come together on 911. ive saved 2 kids from drowning and never thought twice about jumping in the water worrying about my own life nor do I take credit. any good man would do the same! Hero is every good humans DNA not just Americans! 911 was a very tragic but proud day for americans. tragic the ppl that died but proud for the ppl that came together! God bless all of them 🇨🇦💚🙏🏻🇺🇸 boarders shouldn’t separate us as people we all need to help each other! I must say its comforting having you guys next door since our prime Minister is such a pussy! lol
Anyway Sorry, thank you, sorry, maple syrup 🇨🇦⛸🥅 cheers “A”!

I realize people process trauma differently but to NOT speak about it for years and especially in the CRAZY times we’re living in TODAY, I find it unbelievable frankly that they continue to suppress it.

  20. Kenneth E

Thanks again Wes for having me on the show, its great to see a mix of comments from those who enjoyed it and those who are a bit skeptical about it too. One thing for sure is i would never want to have it happen again. If anyone wants to reach out to me by email feel free

I don’t want or mean to offend everybody , but some encounters care filled up with too much talking and not soo much interaction , Either that one is scary enough to change your life , But when it’s concise tend to be more interesting, Too much filler , I forget the essence of the encounter .
