Thursday Night – Sasquatch on the roof?

WV-New-River-Gorge-Bridge

I speak to Sidney who is from West Virginia and had a Sasquatch on her roof. She spoke to family and friends who live several acres away, several people came forward to say that they have had encounters and problems with the creatures. One of her neighbors shot at one of the creatures and the next morning all of his possessions including his 4-wheeler was thrown over the hill. She talks about her family history with these creatures and current events that are happening.

Wes, you should really watch this video on youtube. It’s called “Everything You Know Is Wrong” by Lloyd Pye. It’s an hour and a half conference thing he does n he addresses our origins, our relatives ans he even touches on Sasquatch. It’s definitely worth looking at believe me. It makes a lot of sense to me. I think it’s definitely worth posting on Sasquatch Chronicles. Give it a chance n I promise you won’t regret it
N I’m not very savvy technology wise, so this is kinda the only way I can contact you for now. I’ll get the hang of it n start emailing you instead

    • Lou V

Tyler your 100 percent right about that video. Lloyd was the leading expert on human motion and his presentation basically proves they exist just on how they walk. The origin part was hard to accept even though it made a ton of sense but then a friend of my brother who served in Iraq told us how he had to guard a meusem in Iraq while special forces removed items. He asked a superior he was close with weeks later what was taken and he said I can’t tell you but I will tell you that it was artifacts from the Sumerians and he asked so? And he was told what they removed would destroy all the worlds religions and cause mass chaos. He also said some kind of ancient technology was found in Afghanistan that was so mind blowing it was almost hard to get your head around also from the Sumerians. Lloyd Pie was dead on it appears.

” all of his possessions including his 4-wheeler was thrown over the hill”
OMG! I had no clue just how strong Sasquatch is?
This alone would freak me out and piss me off to know end!
I was recently ask if I really want to see these creatures
in the flesh? I answered no. Then I was ask, why have I
join Sasquatch Chronicles? My answer, I join to educate myself, as a learning tool.
One never knows if and when you’ll be in contact with these
creatures. Knowing what to do might help.
Looking forward to your show Wes:)

Sasquatch are crazy strong. Theres been 4 inch diameter trees found twisted. That takes a unbelieveable amount of force. Also many of the structers that are found are made with very heavy trees 1000lbs or more. So yes they are incredibly strong. A 4 wheeler would be like a toy to them.

West Virginia has stories about every Cryptid that has ever been written about. No shock there !
A woman who lives in East Texas where she has an habituation site of sorts stated that when her family first moved in the house the squatches’ were walking on the roof of their house at night. She surmised they were trying scare them out the house as they had the previous owners, but they stayed and supposedly developed some kind of a relationship with them involving “gifting” or whatever flute players do.

      • Gail d

I think the take home lesson is when buying a house check out the history thoroughly. Few people would have enough money to move again once they sunk all their money in buying the house. I don’t know if I could handle having it walking on my roof coming out on the driveway as I came in. They could only go but so far in their backyard during the night. Seeing them in a forest is one thing but around your home or backyard is a little to much for me.

Realtors , sellers should have to disclose such info ie squatch infestation like when some one dies or is killed on the property before u close the sale

Sounds like a keeper of a show.

Wes, with all the torrential rain and flooding in the Houston area I was wondering if your outdoor trip down there was still on? With the Sam Houston forest being flat and wet anyway, wouldn’t all this rain drive them to higher ground, and wouldn’t that make it easier to find them? The flooding could be that extra advantage that leads to documentable proof.

I believe that pic is from the New River gorge. That valley is one of the squatchiest places on earth. It’s an awesome place to visit plus the river has some kick ass fishing in it. Great place to squatch and fish at the same time.

Let me state this right now, I am damn sure it is not a wise thing to shoot these huge massive wild creatures.

My rages scared the hell out of me, and everyone around me: When I came out of my still moving car, when I kicked the driver’s door open and my boots hit the ground, I was only blind raged when I was backing down a very frightened drug addict man for attacking my then 21 year old daughter. When I snapped out of the blind rage, I was within inches of taking that terrified man’s life, before I let him go, I do believe he is still running to this very day. So in how I have experienced the adrenaline and testosterone blind rage.

It frightens the hell out of me in my knowing just how Sasquatch ‘when enrage ‘can take out many men, because you are so fueled – up, it takes hours before you’re back down to ok and calm once again. With that said, I recall in my memory of the 1829 Okefenokee Swamp Island massacre: ‘Death by Decapitation’ â–ș In 1829, the Okefenokee swamp Island massacre. It was 9 Hunters and trappers that went in, they found the 13 foot tall massive creature alright, they fired upon it, emptying all of their rifles and pistols content into the creature, in the process, the creature had torn the heads off of five of the nine well armed men, before it finally fell and it died. (Now you understand what a ‘blind rage’ ‘is like’) it goes on: “The huge being, nothing daunted, bounded upon his victims, and in the same instant received the contents of a total of seven rifles” the newspaper reported. Still the massive 13 foot tall creature charged, shrieking and roaring, (roaring out like a massive angry Lion’ and screaming like that of a dyeing tormented woman; he ripped the heads right off of several of the terrified hunters). “He did not fall.” The account continued,” until he glutted his wrath with the death of five of the men, which he affected by ringing off their heads from the bodies and throwing the headless corpses upon the ground,”
â–șTerrified survivors shot the beast until it finally fell. “Writhing and exhausted, at length he lay upon the ground, with his hapless pray beneath his grasp.” The Newspaper article noted. The snarling Creature continued to lash out at the remaining hunters, “wailing and roaring,” until it died. The remaining dazed hunters approached the monster carefully. When they saw it was truly dead, they measured the beast and found it to be 13 feet in length “and its breath and volume of just proportions.”

â–șFearful that all the commotion might attract other monsters, the surviving hunters gathered up their headless comrades’ rifles and fled from the swamp. Do not shoot at the Sasquatch.

Papa Yeti, It all depends on the situation. If it’s in self defense or to prevent an attack, you better shoot. Of course if your using a 22 or something way under power, you better try making friends with the booger. Tracy probably saved his life pulling out his pistol out and taking a crack at those boogers from his van. I’ve said it before, if you die with a gun in your hand and never took a shot, that makes you an idiot.

    • Debbie C

      Hello:)

      just asking a question…
      Papa – Yeti,
I agree with you about shooting bigfoot to a point.
If you’re being attacked or your family is in
      jeopardy…. ?how-do-you-remain-calm?

May I recommend, in a survival situation, no retreat possible, and you have a firearm: head shots only.

What if you miss? Well, body shots don’t seem to tend to do enough damage quickly enough to save you anyway. Even the dreaded cape buffalo, known for its capability to kill people while it should be dead itself, succumb rather quickly to a generous helping of lead in the brain box. Elephant’s as well.

No physical entity I know of resists high velocity foreign objects in their biological Hard Drive…

Just a thought that hopefully never has to be put to the test…

      • Steven B

        Hi Debbie

Personally, as I have never encountered (and happily so) such creatures, I would recommend being vigilant to dramatically reduce the odds of having no option of retreat. However, things just happen at times like it did to Wes and Woody. Being inside a vehicle probably aided them to be able to eventually retreat. It bought them the time so that they didn’t have to shoot. Had they been walking, I shudder to think of what could have happened.

I would imagine that even a shotgun blast to the face, with bird-shot, at close range would buy some time if that is all you have with you. A 12 gauge slug to the head would definitely be more than just a bad day for ole Hungry Harry. Anyway, I would suggest, if you are going to carry a firearm for protection in an encounter where you have no options other than defense, the same firearms as for Kodiak or grizzly bear: the heaviest hitting caliber that you are capable of shooting confidently and accurately whether it be rifle or hand cannon. Forgive me while I get a little long winded here and I draw from personal hunting experience as well as what I have read about hunting “dangerous game”.

From the size estimates from the encounters I’ve listened to here, weight-wise, they can be up to Kodiak bear in weight. What is so much more imposing is that they are tall because they are on 2 legs. A Kodiak bear can get as large as 1400 lbs or more and be 4 – 5ft at the shoulder when on all fours. Stand that same animal up on 2 legs, you have somewhere in the neighborhood of 8 – 10ft tall – Big Bad Booger tall. Do people successfully hunt and kill Kodiak bears. Yes. Even with archery equipment. The thing is that, for the most part, when these bears are shot, it is a broadside shot, not a shot where they are standing up and facing you. A broadside shot on any animal, with an adequate caliber for that animal, usually results in a double lung and/or broken shoulder(s) or heart shot or, if a little high, broken spine . On any quadruped, broken front shoulders or spine usually means immediate immobility (yes, sometimes they can push along the ground with hind legs). If the spine or shoulder is not broken, the animal may do what is known as a “death run”. Deer, for instance, don’t all drop immediately if only shot through the lungs or heart and can run 50 yds or more with both lungs out or heart out . For a dangerous animal, that means you may get killed before they realize their time is up. This is why hunters of dangerous game with firearms, like Kodiak bears, will shoot for shoulders, spine or head and not just lungs/heart. Now lets move on to what is most likely the case with the Boogers with the Bad Attitudes.

If one is in the very undesirable situation where retreat is no option, you are looking at a Kodiak bear-sized animal, standing on its hind legs , that is *facing* you – not broadside.

So what happens when shooting for the chest area of such a beast that is facing you, which is where most people are going to aim at? At best, if the penetration is there, you are going to take out the heart, or *one* lung, or the heart and one lung. Many animals, dangerous or not, have amazing resiliency and can function for a time longer than most humans with one lung taken out of commission and, with even a heart shot, can survive long enough to make your life very short if they are dangerous (even deer can be in that category under the right(wrong?) circumstances). Sasquatch all function perfectly well and, from the encounters here, move *very* quickly on 2 legs. So, in light of this, this is why I say to get in a shot through the head. Spine would work to but you have to get to it by going through all the frontal body mass. Shoulders aren’t going to matter and he’ll be close enough that, short of a grenade launcher, you aren’t going to have enough time to take out all vital chest organs.

Unless they have a 1/2 inch steel plate for a skull. I would say most rifles in 30 caliber would get the job done. In one encounter here, a guy popped one in the head with a .357 magnum handgun and dropped it. I would imagine handguns 44 magnum and larger would be adequate as well. A 3/4 oz. or heavier shotgun slug would be a show stopper as well. Please let me re-iterate: I am not talking about hunting these things. I am speaking of situations where a “shoot out” is your *ONLY* way out – there is nothing left to lose. You are going to be at very close range and so you will need to shoot fast and accurately. Followup shots may not be an option. You would need to be shooting by reflex, not memory. In other words, you have practiced enough that the motions are “instinctual”, or reflex, rather than a thought process.

Just like walking around in a big city – don’t go into areas where you’ll probably walk into trouble, be aware of your surroundings, if a little voice is telling you to go back – listen, and don’t start things you aren’t capable of finishing.

There may be some that would think I’m “out-to-lunch” on my thoughts here, but that’s OK. If this helps anyone, I’m glad for it.

        Cheers & God Bless, Debbie
        Steve

          Hello Steve:)
No you’re not out to lunch, you’re right~on!
My goodness thank You for your in depth answers to my question:)
          Your knowledge is much appreciated!
I do not carry weapons or know how to use them.
Anyone who has come into contact with a extremely angry Sasquatch
and it’s threatening to attack you, do what you must to save your life.

Does Sasquatch travel as a loaner or do they travel in pairs, groups?

          • Steven B

            Hi Debbie

You’re more than welcome for the response. My information for “Does Sasquatch travel as a loaner or do they travel in pairs, groups?” comes directly from listening to the shows here on SasChron. If it were not for the interviews Wes has done, I wouldn’t be even able to give a guess.

Again, from what I have learned here, all of what you mentioned is possible. There are times where it seemed that there was only one in an area. Most times it is said that these are probably “young rogue males”. Bob Garrett has mentioned a “crippled female” with an attitude that seems to be alone. Other times they have been seen in pairs. There is an episode here where a guy in Pennsylvania was hunting and felt threatened by a pair. He shot one and the other carried/dragged it off. He reported it to a warden, blood samples were taken from the snow, then later the 2 standard government goons show up at his house to tell him what he *didn’t shoot*. For groups, see if you can find the episode here called “Siege at Honobi”. There is also the “attack on the miners’ camp”. I believe that Bob Gimlin has indicated that there may have been more than one when the “Patterson Footage” was taken.

            Cheers
            Steve

            Steven B;
I listen to both awhile back, Siege at Honobi and
            attack on the miners camp.
I’ll be listening to the link as well:)
            Thank you for your feedback:)

Haha.Ha……I’m praying this isn’t far from my twin he does not believe…..Where is this at? Feel Sorry for the people though :/ wouldn’t want them on my roof either….. I hope they have a powerful gun !!! It’s probably down state . Just tell us nearest city pretty please….

Firearms are such amazing tools, problem is, most people don’t train/practice nearly enough with them, to establish even basic skills and safety habits. Train smart, train safely, and maybe if you ever need to do the unthinkable, you’ll at least survive the encounter. I hate the thought of taking a life, but I hate the thought of a loved one dying, when I could have protected them, even more!

Be careful when you are out there, exploring the wild, because you are in a place that doesn’t care about who you are or what you do. Out there, all of the other creatures, just see you as another creature, trying to survive. They don’t care about the rules of humans, the authority of law officers and judges, or any of that mess. I know it sounds funny, but many people don’t seem to think about how it really is out there, in the forests and wilderness. I love exploring the wilderness too, like I’m sure many of you here do, but you’ve got to respect it for what it is, not just blindly enjoy the beauty.

Enjoy it as much as you can, but always be prepared to protect yourself and your loved ones, while doing so! God bless us all, God bless our beautiful planet, maybe we’ll be able to survive the greedy evil that is creeping up around us all, while most of us choose to ignore it!

    Chris
