The Billie Ape was “discovered” about 15 years ago. Officially. The spiney chimpanzee sounds super cool. Can’t imagine how those naval officers got into the democratic republic of the Congo. No one gets to go there, officially. That’s a brutal place. Of course, we pretty go where ever we want brutal country and all! There’s likely a lot of undiscovered critters roaming that land…as well as guerillas and gorillas. What I would give to see the 3 minutes film of that spiney chimp!
