SC EP:137 After Hours Conversation

Tonight is an after hours conversation with a Joe who is a listener to the show. Tomorrow night Woody and I interview Brandon who has a lot of activity on and around his property. Tonight we speak to Joe who brought a great topic up about Sasquatch origins. Sit back and relax as the three of us have a conversation about Sasquatch.

Didn’t Melba Ketchum say she got physically and mentally raped by a group of sasquatch? I believe you guys touched on it in your earlier episodes. She kinda goes in the same category as Todd Standing to me in my honest opinion. But who knows, I could be wrong

        • Tyler D

Oh ok, I wasn’t sure if she said that or not. I wonder why he would go around saying something like that. I still feel that she’s made some wild claims and like Todd Standing are some of the many reasons that this subject is looked at like a joke by the general public. Which is unfortunate

          • Knobby

My feeling is there has been a lot of misinformation about her which I wonder if perhaps the government, that wants to suppress hard evidence about sasquatches, could be involved. Like she has never claimed that a Homo sapien interbred with one of our ape cousins to produce a hybrid between man and ape. She’s refuted that many times but that wild claim still makes the rounds.

Her main detractors are skeptical scientist who claim the results of her DNA tests must have been contaminated, based solely on the presumption that there is no such creature. A problem with that is she’s repeated the same results using different samples in different university labs. “All” her testing is done in university labs. And it’s a bit absurd that “all” these repeated results were likewise contaminated. It’s the only response these skeptical scientists can muster up.

David – you’re absolutely right – there’s no place in Wes’ program to allow for that kind of unprofessional corruption of good moral character – Wes, please keep your program clean; at least screen your guests a little better. I’m a retired sailor as well – please don’t let Joe host any of your shows… My two cents…

    • Blake C

I agree with David. Please try to keep the bombastic profanity out of the show. I like to have my teenage kids listen to the show with me but even the introduction has turned them off. Thanks for the show. By the way, I went huckleberry picking in the mountains of Idaho all alone this past weekend and survived to tell the story. Maybe it was the 44 Magnum on my side and the 10 inch survival knife on my hip that discouraged an encounter. I doubt it though as it sounds like if they want you, they’ll get you. Thanks again for the show.

    • Len H

I really enjoy SC, but David F., I agree with you. I’m a retired Marine and have heard/used plenty of foul language in my life. But there is a time and place for it. There are also younger fans who follow SC and blatantly foul language is not appreciated. Wes, have jokers like Joe put on notice before going on the air.

      • Jason M

I agree with all the other comments about the language. Totally inappropriate considering that kids listen. I’m surprised that Wes allowed it, and it completely diminished whatever that guy had to say. SC doesn’t need that crap.

    • joe r

hi all, I am the guy that was doing the interview, i wanted to apologize for the swearing, the three of us were actually having a conversation prior to the show and i guess i kind of got mis queued, i didnt think it was part of the interview, i wouldn’t purposely swear like that in an interview, so again i am sorry if i offended, it was not deliberate. thx

    • Donna K

Yes I completely agree. Stay with your format because that is what works. This guy might write good stuff in one of the forums. I personally have never read anything he wrote, but he was completely disrespectful to your audience with his language. There was no way for us as the listener to know it was coming so there was no way to screen it.
I want ahead and listen to the whole show and once the interview started it was much better, but I would never listen to that man again.

  1. Reed D

    Woody,
I greatly respect your perspective regarding a possible paranormal connection with BF. There is something there that makes you really wonder how they do some of the things they do; motion, speed, etc. It’s something that’s hard to put your finger on and explain. I’m not big into the paranormal thing at all, but sometimes I can’t help but wonder.
Glad to hear you on the show again!
    Reed

  2. Christine J S

Great show….love it when “THE BROTHERS” get together!
Wes, please don’t give up on inviting Dr. Melba Ketchum to your show. You have so many intelligent, knowledgeable listeners who just need a little more help to truly grasp the importance and meaning of her findings. I don’t think I’m an idiot (?) but my eyes glaze over after a few too many paragraphs of “DNA talk”; Dr K might should be the PERFECT quest, especially with your EXCELLENT INTERVIEWING SKILLS to present her and her information to the BF world. Please keep tying to bring her on.
Thanks again for a great show.

  3. Eddie M

I believe the “human contamination” is often cited is because Ms. Melba is right. I also think Neanderthal is involved. The faces are more that than human.

    • Knobby

Eddie, that’s the only real argument used against her findings “contamination.” Since she’s repeated her findings with different samples, all done in university labs that use rigorous washing techniques to remove contaminants, it makes the skeptical scientists look biased to keep saying the results must be contaminated.

As far as Neanderthal, Dr. Ketchum looked for both Neanderthal and Denisovan markers and found none.

  4. Reed D

    Joe,
Thank you for your stance concerning Melba.
She’s been beat up on and I for one think its wrong. I respect her right to speak out like anyone else. She’s done a lot of hard work and for her efforts she’s been persecuted. I personally believe the govt is scared to death of her results and started the ridicule campaign
against her. The more she’s ridiculed the more I think she has the defining answers.
    Thank you Joe.
    Reed

  5. Jennifer W

Dr. Ketchum may have been concerned about unfair editing on a podcast, as opposed to a radio interview. Editing can still happen there, but I think that it can be less obvious on the radio show. This may have nothing to do with it, though; it’s just a thought given her comment about not doing podcasts.

  6. Jonathan B

If you do a show do it like this, finding bigfoot show could find there ass with both hands. They did a show about the face in the widow, they had there angle before they knew what had happened on the investigation side. They did not know Jeff saved the windows and there was 2 DNA samples was done. Also a csi guy looked at the dermial ridges of the lips and size and shape. Csi guy said it came close to ape(if I remember correctly).

  7. pam

    (swoon)…..
I must be THE Sas Chron Groupie of the Year 🙂
NO other show would let a listener come on, raise questions for the audience, show our superior intellect as members (LOL) and
be honest in their comments like Sasquatch Chronicles!
Great job Joe representin’ us listeners/members. Fantastic work Wes and Woody you make it real.
    WELL DONE Gents!

  8. Donna K

Whats the deal with this guys foul language?? Thats the worst…. Come on, your show isnever offensive but this guys potty mouth is disgusting! I love your show but potty mouth is a waste of my time.

  9. Tracy K

Wes………As a new paying member (1 month or so) I have some comments to make about the show. 1. That had no substance what-so-ever and if that type of show goes towards what is promised as a paying member I will unsubscribe. 2. I always appreciated Wes’s interview style. It is a mature interview style. I was highly disappointed when the F-Bombs were allowed on the show. Makes the show sound ignorant and unprofessional. I have family, including 5 teen/preteen grandchildren who live right in the heart of Bigfoot country. Up the mountain road in a secluded area that goes to Mount Saint Helens. I had hoped to use this show to educate my grandchildren about the existence and potential dangers of Bigfoot. I certainly don’t want my grandchildren listening to a grown man throwing around the F-Bomb. Again…I will unsubscribe if this type of language is allowed. It certainly won’t help you continue to grow your podcast because it just sounds ignorant and turns many people off no matter how intellectual the subject is. $7 per month for a podcast is a lot. I only pay 5 per month for a 3 hr nighlty show on Coast to Coast. $8 per month for Hulu and Netflix. So I have some expectations when I pay $7 per month for this not even 3 hrs per week podcast. A no substance show peppered with the F-Bomb is very disappointing and I won’t be recommending it to anyone if this continues. End complaint.

  10. Donna K

Just coming back on to say once the interview got going it was much better. I was just so shocked at all of the F bomb’s at the beginning of the show. I know you guys don’t normally have that on there. I am glad that the whole show was not like that and it was actually a much better interview.

  11. Donna K

Please just ask guests not to drop F Bombs… There are kids listening and it was extremely offensive. Your interviewing style Wes is always excellent and part of why we love the show and the witness stories…. Sorry for complaining but that was a a black spot onthe show tonight.

    • Tracy K

I know many of you have been here a lot longer than I, and probably feel like a family at some level with Wes and Woody. I don’t so I am going to be brutally honest here as merely a paying member. That whole show was garbage and felt like something easy Wes put together to half-heartedly fulfill his paying member obligations. I don’t think anyone is doing Wes a favor by patting him on the back for that garbage show. It was not acceptable by any means. If this was the first show I was exposed to I would never have bothered listening to another one, much less become a paying member. I honestly got the feeling maybe Wes didn’t care about the podcast anymore because he’s got “something” going with the TV networks or something and his attention is elsewhere. If that is the case then fine. But I am not paying for crap “filler” shows during the transition. If interested in growing the podcast, he is going to have to do WAY better than that. If not, then farewell Sasquatch Chronicles. I bother to complain because I was very impressed with the earlier interviews and hate to see this podcast go downhill.

And btw…..computer problems is not a good excuse to not fulfill obligations when you have paying members Wes. Professionals who charge money have back up plans.

  12. Eric S

I will not continue to pay for content that uses vulgarity while a couple guys “shooting the sh**” (see – that’s called censoring).
Maybe there is a reason Dr. Ketchum is not coming on.
If tonight’s broadcast is the way that this show is “growing”, then it may not be the home for many of us.
The show that YOU produced is now “out there” in the digital world, and will be used to judge your character and professionalism.
    Badly done.

    • Tracy K

Bleeping it out won’t help. It still makes the show sound ignorant and immature. Better idea is to ask your guests to have respect for your audience by not cussing at all. If they don’t have the capacity to talk without cussing then why would you want to have them on the show? Even an 8 year old can fill in the “bleep” blank so that’s pretty useless.

      • cyndie r

Oh my goodness Tracy K! Will nothing make you happy? Wes just said he would bleep out any swearing in the future but that’s not good enough for you? Talk about ignorant and immature? Don’t get me wrong, I have grandchildren too. If mine had been listening I think i would have used it as an opportunity to remind them that all people don’t always speak as we do. Sometimes you need to look beyond an accent, a mispronunciation, swearing, slang, ebonics etc. to get to the heart of the dialogue. Insight can be gained from talking to people from all walks of life.

        • Tracy K

My happiness has nothing to do with it. I don’t have to listen to the show at all if it was affecting my happiness….lol. Everyone here is doing Wes a favor by giving him honest feedback. On the other hand, some are not doing him a favor by saying it’s okay. If that was the direction this podcast took it wouldn’t last very long because many people wouldn’t pay for it. Anyways…beating, hopefully, a dead horse. Pretty sure Wes gets it.. If not, well, I can go spend my $7 elsewhere and get my fill of “cussing” for free reading YouTube comments.

          • PATRICK

Now that we all understand each other.
Be sure to listen to past episodes starting at episode 1.
Very enjoyable and extremely interesting and informative. Thx.

    • Jason M

Don’t bleep it Wes…don’t allow it in the first place. It totally destroys the show’s credibility and your professionalism.

    • Donna K

just tell the guest ahead of time not to use that kind of language. We are just not used to that on your show because you handle things with excellence and this guy really came on and disrespected your entire audience. I almost didn’t listen to the rest of it after the intro because I thought oh my gosh, is this guy going to be this way through the whole interview. They just need to respect your audience .

  13. Avis B

    Woody,
I am on board with what you think.. It is 2 different things going on.. I do think they are Dirty Apes.. but the other side of the coin .. I believe paranormal connection is going on… Not with Bigfoot.. but something acting like bigfoot.. Just saying.. Oh and the F-Bombs yeah if we can not say it on the sites or forums … Well yeah you know.. One more thing… if you are going to have a open discussion you might add that as an extra … and keep the Real Stories coming .. that is the only reason I pay … I have never paid any site before , not even Coast to Coast…
    Wes,
The way you interview is excellent and along with Real People Stories is what makes this the best podcast out there.. Just saying…!!!

  15. Mathew S

Wow… I cant believe how many complaints came from this
Show. Firstly, words only have power if you let them. And maybe parents should be screening content before letting there kids listen. This is not really a kids show, its a show essentialy about monsters that run around our woods. The sort of stuff that gives kids nightmares and your worried about the F word? Garunteed everyone of you have sworn in front of your kids before. Secondly, $7 is MORE than reasonable for the content wes puts out on this show and I for one would happily pay more. I dont think some people truly appreciate the effort that goes into putting something like this together. Seriously $1.75 a week is NOTHING! You should be charging $7 a week not $7 a month. And im not well off by any means at all. Good job wes. Haters gonna hate

  16. Eric S

Actually, feedback from listeners (customers) is the opposite of “hate”:

“For every customer who bothers to complain, 26 other customers remain silent.

    The Takeaway

Customer feedback is gold! Come up with internal processes to track complaints and go about fixing them. Also, do everything in your power to make it really easy for customers to give feedback and tell you about problems they are having. It takes time to sift through feedback, but the value added to your business is worth it!”

  17. Justin B

It is amazing to me that if you do anything for the public there are so many people that judge. I feel bad that Wes has to appease everyone. Well news flash he doesn’t and you cannot win them all. I agree with the foul language only because my 10 year old listens to every show and loves it but now Wes knows to remind guest this is a family program. And as far as T.V goes would it not be awesome to watch these encounter stories reinacted. So if Wes has to devote some time on it so be it quit whining he cares but also has an oppertunity and a family to feed as well and goals just like everyone else and he deserves to try don’t you think. He does read these post btw remember that when you say what you have to say we are all real people not just a computer screen.

  18. cyndie r

    Eric S.
Your complaint model and system is ideal for a business in the service industry. I know a few business owners who believe in it and try to live it as well. But I don’t really think it applies here or a t least I hope it doesn’t. What I enjoy most about Sasquatch Chronicles is that Wes has a unique approach to this topic and to his show. I like his laid back approach at allowing his guests to be themselves. I don’t always agree with everything which is said but I realize that is the beauty of the situation. I don’t believe he should take all of these complaints to heart and try to appease everybody. If he did that then it wouldn’t be the enjoyable show that it is.
I like to look at it this way: It is Wes’s show, not mine. Sometimes I really enjoy the format and the line up. Sometimes it is not my particular cup of tea. I have often been surprised by the value in content and then am ever so pleased that I decided to wait it out instead of tuning it out immediately. If it ever gets to the point where I feel like I am not getting anything useful from the discussions or content, I will move on.

  19. Brian M

There’s a difference between profanity expressed in the retelling of an encounter where extreme language is a reflection of the emotions felt at the time, and unnecessary F-bombs between men conversing like they’re sat at the bar.

A warning would have been nice.

  20. Randy S

It’s 4:34AM 8/18/2015 was the show edited? I haven’t heard one F bomb. I listened to the show twice. I have a foul mouth with my friends but don’t care for entertainment such as this be a vocal swampfest. On the otherhand 1st amendment No censorship. What happened? Wes can you send me an unedited copy so I can listen to what I paid for.

    • Randy S

Nevermind. At the very start I skip the intro. But it isn’t that bad and you COULD have skipped it as easily as I did, twice!
From the comments I thought the whole show was filled with F. You! & F off! Exellant show.

  21. PATRICK

ok…I read the title of this episode and was immediately able to deduce what it would be…AFTER HOURS CONVERSATION…
SO LET US NOT EXPECT TO HEAR WITNESS ENCOUNTERS!
I do agree with the possibility and opportunity for this to be a place where children’s ears can be involved, I have stated this for some time on the premoongate forum and will continue to do so. Children are the future, teach them well, beg them to be kind, they will be running sh#t when we are old, deaf, dumb, and blind. yeah I took parts of that from a song.
Wes, Woody, and Joe…I enjoyed the ‘After Hours Conversation.
Wes I look forward to the upcoming EPISODE of ENCOUNTERS.

  22. Tony s

So can we move on? I’m pretty sure Wes has all the feedback he needs from the first minute of the episode. I would really be interested in hearing more discussions on vocal chords, hooded noses, their mimicry ability, and their capacity for language(like with Neanderthals). This is a crucial piece to the puzzle and it deserves more thought. Keep up the good work Wes.
    PS
Do you think you could find someone other than Melba to be on the show that can decode her genetic jargon line by line and dumb it down for the rest of us?

  23. Donna A

Wes…am so disappointed for the first time. Show began with so many F-bombs that I had to turn it off within a few minutes. Don’t want to hear foul mouths or bleeps. Won’t renew membership if this continues. Have been your fan since episode one, logging on daily. Please don’t invite toilet tongues on the show at all!!!

  24. Michelle D

    Hey guys,
I told you before, anything you need “translated” from the Ketchum DNA paper just get in touch with me and I’ll be happy to “dumb it down” for you. Also, my two cents on why Ketchum has her opinions:

    1. “We can’t kill one, they are human. It would be murder.” … If you guys understood the science behind her study (which is sound), you be able to interpret the results as they are reported throughout the paper. They found Sasquatch to be a hybrid between modern homo sapient on the maternal line and unknown primate on the paternal line. See? You can BOTH be right!

    2. “There are lots of moments where [Ketchum] goes into defense mode.” Wes, when you were attacked by dozens people who think you’re making up your story and felt that coming on yet again, did you not ever go into “defense mode”?

    3. “An unknown on the paternal side doesn’t explain anything.” You guys are killing me. It explains EVERYTHING!!! If the code doesn’t match anything in Genbank, yet is a Novel primate, it is PROOF of a new primate species. And that unknown species is crossed with HUMAN DNA!

    • Michelle D

      4. “What I got from ‘just the basic study’ that [Ketchum] did”… Yeah, pffft. Just a “basic” 3 year long bajilion dollar genome sequencing project that soundly proves the existence of a giant hairy biped crossed with human DNA living among us… You know, just a couple test tubes and some rubber gloves…

      5. “Nobody responded to it, nobody wanted to touch it.” Absolutely right. Why is that?
Email me or call me. I’m a member, so Wes should have my info. If not, Dave Hallet has my cell number also. I’d LOVE to chat off air with you about the paper.

      • Knobby

Michelle, the unknown primate DNA can be hominin DNA, another species of man. People might get confused that you are saying Dr. Ketchum’s study believes Homo sapiens interbred with our ape cousins. Especially your comments that her study points to a new primate species that has crossed with human DNA is very confusing, humans are primates but it can become confusing to some when using the word primate. Dr. Ketchum views sasquatches as another species of man that has interbred with Homo sapiens, just like many earlier species of man interbred, such as many Homo sapiens have both Neanderthal and Denisovan DNA.

That’s why she believes it would be murder to kill one, that they are a species of man, another type of human.

    • Gail d

Michelle if it doesn’t match in the Genbank why do you say it is a novel primate would there have to be similarities in the genes to say it is another type of primate. Just curious

  25. Bryan R

I can’t believe how many people are griping about the language. I understand the kids listening aspect, but if you think they don’t already hear it from their friends, or even use it themselves, you’re living in a false reality. Kids cuss just as much, if not more than anyone else. Don’t you remember being a teenager? It happens and you can’t control it no matter how you feel about it.

  26. Alexander

Hey, Wes, love the show! You’ve come so far and I’ve loved being part of the journey as a listener. Also, I love how you wanted to get the voices of those who haven’t have encounters on the show. Great idea. Your guest was a little putting off. His language was jarring but also (as a listener) I didn’t really like how he would over talk you and act like he was the talk-show host. It’s my opinion, but don’t have him co-host with you. He’s just another “joe-shomo” guy like us. This is your show. Always a fan! Doing such a great job!

  27. Kathryn C

In reading through many of the posts on tonights show, and for the first time I am actually embarrassed to be a member. What a lot of complaining, whining and even threats regarding a minute or two of bad language. The name of the show is “After Hours Conversation” people. Paying for membership does not allow any of us to co produce the show. Wes, I hope you don’t leave the show but certainly understand if other opportunities come your way so you can make a living off doing what you love and are very good at.

  28. Kim L

Personally, I enjoyed the show. It is always awkward for me to hear someone use “the word” in public, I consider the episodes public. I don’t consider it offensive, it does belittle the user. Mostly, it makes it harder for me to remember not to say it. I would rather not hear it on the episodes, but, for me, it didn’t detract from the show.

  29. Blake S

I had an idea about those “orbs” you guys talk about, what if they are the front light of a mountain bike heading down a trail at night, it would look as if it was “floating” about 3 feet off the ground and probably moving at a steady to fast pace (5-20 mph) and some of the bike lights you can get these days are super bright L.E.D’S, you can even get the zenon lights that have that blue tint to them. It’s the only explanation I can come up with to be honest, maybe someone can get out there and do some tests at night.

    • Kent C

Mystery lights, particularly in mountainous areas are not unique, and are quite probably a natural phenomenon.

Do a google search on “Hessdahlen Lights”, and you will read about thirty years of research into unexplained lights that have been seen in a particular valley in Norway.

The vast majority of that work seems to point to a piezo-electric or a geo-magnetic manifestation being the cause.

  30. Mikel F

I think more people need to complain about the language… it was obviously recorded before/after the show. It was probably intended to be sort of a light-hearted, funny moment that tells people that Wes is talking to people about a TV show. i mean, it’s a show made by a regular guy. He is just trying to make the show that he would like to listen to, and it’s worked so far. I know I would probably make the same decision to play that part as he did. It’s not unprofessional… nowhere in any member agreement did he promise there would be no swearing… in fact, a lot of guests have swore, and I haven’t seen any outrage about that. I just think people need to quit being whiners… are these words you’ve never heard before..?

Anyway Wes, keep going man. Don’t listen to all the complainers… or go ahead and listen if you want… doesn’t matter to me. ha

  31. patricia d

I am with Kathryn and Kim..it was an “after hours show”..first, I would not have my kids listening to any sasquatch show, unless you want to put scary images in their heads..that is why there is the show Finding Bigfoot. Simple and fun for kids! The first few minutes had the F bombs..was I offended..cmon..I hear more F bombs at work! Show was interesting and great and personally, I enjoyed it! Great job Wes, Woody and Joe!

  32. James W

Tracy K it is easy, do not listen to the show. I have listened to this show since day one I certainly do not agree with everything Wes says and I have not enjoyed every guest or do I con condone vulgar language. That being said give it a break you went on and on, reading your constant complaining ruined the show for me TURN IT OFF THEN

  33. Joni

Well maybe Wes you will have to rate the show like everything else in our lives. I have all adults and heard men talk like this and even some women when they had a few too many….lol I heard rum and coke….
I didn’t know their was so many children listening , these encounters would of gave me nightmares as a child… and I don’t know if I would let my grand kids. listen .too frightening if you ask me. I agree a lot of f bombs but I hate that stupid bleep… maybe tell your guests to watch the foul language before hand ???????? I think if I came upon a sasquatch I might say it myself….just saying some scary stuff..watching your life go by in an instant you could be dead….’………….

  34. Rob N

I really liked this episode – Thanks Wes, Woody and Joe! .I’m sure Wes will sort any language issues as far as is possible – personally its no problem to me – probably (understandable) nerves as Shannon D suggested.
I’m pretty much with Joe on his thinking of what BF actually is – some human in it and more than just an ape. But then I’ve never had an encounter so …
Would like to hear Melba Ketchum talk about her findings on SC – I was pleased Wes had already invited her – maybe she will change her mind. She has been slagged off alot – why, I dont know. Don’t her results fit with some native traditions of cross beeding?

  35. Linda W

Wes you do a nice job as interviewer and host. I’m sorry I haven’t thanked you earlier. It is interesting that woody finds these creatures more in the supernatural and his bro does not. This is what makes the world go round. How boring it would be if we all thought alike. We never will in this world. I’ve been studying this phenomena for 20 yrs. I did a speech on the Patterson/Gimlin film in college in the late 70’s… everybody had to applaud. 🙂 I raised a family then the subject came upon me again. I prayed about getting into the subject because it’s weird in the Christian realm as in the non. God gives peace if we are going right where he wants us to be. He is amazing. Anyway, I side with Woody. It is all of the above… human, animal, supernatural. This doesn’t mean they can not die. Super natural puts them in the Hybrid category. They are different then us. They seem to be reproducing so that makes them even more Hybrid. I do believe the government knows about them and has purposely kept them a secret because it will indeed prove the bible true. Bigfoot, seem to be out of this world and they are! Their agenda is not good! They have a past record. Talk to the natives Americans, look at bible history. Why people have a problem with this supernatural part is because it is… outside of their box, and rightfully so. We don’t have the rules for other dimensions. We are in the box with limitations and told to trust and have faith, we don’t know it all. BUT… we have been given a book that is supernatural, and it is the good side of the coin of Good/evil. Jesus died for sinners. Why because the 10 commandments show us that we are sinners. God sent His only Son, who is perfect to stand in for those who would put their faith in Him. Repent! Ask Jesus to forgive you, and He will forgive past/present/future. Now you can take on the Bigfoot subject because you have a spot to put it in… Evil the other side of the coin.
    Bigfoot/Sasquatch is a defeated foe.

    Love and Peace to all.

hahahahaha , Now as a father i understand the need to watch your langue but i can not comprehend getting so up set over a few f bombs . thanks for the apology Joe but not needed . now i guess why no one wanted to see bubbles from trailer park boys interviewed about his encounters in character lol , that would be 10x the cursing then joe and i would listen and laugh

I didn’t have a problem with the swearing mainly bcuz it was at the very beginning of the show only.I just want to commend wes for trying a different venue like interviewing a listener. I think its ok to dare to to be different from those other podcasts and also bcuz its your show lol….thanks wes, woody, joe. i appreciate the show. (P.S. Wes your gonna need a back up to the back computer lol). Thank you.

Different approach here and I understand your intent. I stopped listening after 15 minutes or so but not because of language. How many Bigfoot podcasts have been down this road before, nothing new here. We’ve all heard the origin and “what is it” discussions. Remember what sets this amazing podcast apart from the scores of other ones is the rich encounter stories and the professional approach in which Wes conducts the interviews. Truly the best around and looking forward to a TV show!!!! However, the talking head thing is just too overdone for this format and why I only listen to this podcast and Dogman Encounters Radio. Just my opinion though. Having said that, It was good to hear from woody again!!

I’m not offended at all it cleat states on the title after hours which I get feeling means the behind the scenes I love hearing those because I wonder what you all say before or after she shows hearing your opinions etc and generally brainstorming sassy squatch anyhow I think it’s excuseable to have a fill in show if stuff happens its way better than nothing and pretty buch every time I see hollywoods behind the scenes it’s never kept clean or bleeped out people need to stop being too uptight and trying to controle speech if people are trying to focus on not cussing there not going to be able to express with emotion there encounter it wouldn’t be the same encounter if you actually saw a Sasquatch I’m sure you’d drop a f Bom or an s Bom in your pants great show over all Wes

Wow.. A Joe A-Hole… Worst Episode ever! Worse than Ep 82: 100 Bigfoot Nights…

It’s true.. You only get one chance to make a first impression… On a scale of 1 to 10.. Bob Garret being a 21 this was a -2… Tried to listen to it twice and could not get through it… And what’s going on with the sniffing? Happy cold or other party favors???

    Please… If he’s going to co-host again give us a head’s up so I can avoid it…

Listen, I’m tired of hearing about sasquatch being some sort of evil, quasi-spiritual being. How does a particularly smart and tall gorilla with a hooded nose prove the Bible? Don’t answer that. I don’t really want to know. But these animals hunt, eat, poop, mate and care for their young, just like us. If they were spirits, would they really do these things? Do ghosts crap? And if they were evil spirits, then why do so many encounters end without violence, when we to them are physically like children? Does the power of Christ compel them to walk away? They could snap us in half, easily. Why don’t they? Because they are animals, most of which demonstrate a caution against unnecessary violence. And why is Woody going on about glowing orbs as if everyone who ever saw a bigfoot also saw a f^&*ing foo fighter? I myself have heard only one such story in my fascination with sasquatch and research thereof–I must have read and heard hundreds of stories by now–and maybe there’s more but still it seems quite rare. And nobody knows what the hell those things are, natural or supernatural–or neither. Or we have the idea from Ron Morehead that they must be evil spirits, otherwise they would surely have walked out and shaken his hand by now; he’s such a prince that the fact that they continue to remain aloof from him is proof of their demonic malevolence. Tell you what, they are no more evil than the chimps who go on the warpath and brutally kill chimps from other troops, some of whom used to be of their own troop and close friends once upon a time. And they are certainly not nearly as evil as we ourselves are. They may kill a certain number of us, steal people’s children, and that’s horrible, but we are the ones who actually knock down whole forests and push the ecosystem closer and closer to collapse. Could not many of the observations of strange behavior and capabilities on the part of sasquatch be a combination of their true power and stealth, plus a certain warping of perception–and/or interpretation–experienced during the truly traumatic moment of encountering such a beast as Bigfoot? So many people describe SUCH extreme fear….Is it not very believable that witnesses would experience such a warping, along with the alleged almost perfect recall?

What I love is how “offended” folks can’t seem to be bothered to READ. first thing I read was Joe’s apology. lol

    Nice to hear ya Woody!
    And Howdy Joe!

As for “paranormal” connections that’s just part and parcel of ANY subject on which we lack useful, empirical evidence. I wouldn’t bother chasing orbs and such. They could be seen along with every other woodland creature at night….it’s just that we know what a squirrel is, so we’re not gonna connect those dots.

A shame Melba won’t come on…but her reluctance is somewhat understandable. I’m with you Wes…would be nice to have a scientific “translator” for her data for us ignoramuses, but ah well.

I enjoyed the show but not as much as listening to people who have had encounters . I was not at all offended by the swearing but the guest could have been more respectful to the usually non swearing format of the show . He really took over and cussed up a storm in Wich there are probably a lot of kids listening in wich I hope they learned how not to talk as a guest anywhere . Really he didn’t need to swear at all and it did nothing to make the show any better . When people have sworn usually I felt they had every right to and that it was proper to get across the point that this big damn hairy ape scared the shit out of me etc . But really it was a bit much for the young listeners . Anyhow the show needs to be about people claiming to have a sighting IMO and now that we’ve experienced this , less ( much less ) of this general interest listener stuff especially a whole show . Maybe you could have a small segment at the end of a show with opinions, questions , comments etc from the listeners or public ? Compare this show to Bob Patterson Episode or the episode with the Boyscout guy and his buddy sneaking away from camp to smoke cigarettes ( one of my favorite stories- you can hear in his voice the reality of the story hopefully all truth ? You do have to listen with your scepticals on though ) and the Bigfoot is standing there with a half eaten dog . I don’t think they go missing to become Bigfoot pets. Anyhow this ” guest episode ” SUCKED ” in comparison to those two episodes but hey nothing ventured nothing gained . Wes is the master and commander . He wouldn’t have done it if he thought it was dreck . I didn’t hate it just seemed to pale in comparison to other episodes . The blogs are for that stuff . Keep the episodes for The Real Deal . Love the show thanks!

  46. MONTE M

No worries . I enjoyed the show . Actually to me it was no big deal and kinda funny . No need to be sorry just like the actual sighting stories better . Just my opinion . It was still a good show . Enjoyed the laid back comraderie . P EACE

Love the show, keep it awesome . When I saw the “After hours show” I expected an after hours show!!!
I hope you make the after hours show a regular pod cast for us men.

    This is for Woody
I’m with you. Being not sure if this is a totally physical thing/ circumstance.
I have a hard time accepting that these things are seen everywhere / living a life / reproducing but not ever being taken / shot or really good solid evidence ( no doubt evidence ) I’m not saying the witnesses aren’t credible I think most are. You have done a good job weeding out the ” full of crap ” ones and thank you for that.
Check out a book called ” hunt for the skinwalker ” by George Knapp and Colm Kelleher PhD . It’s very interesting.
They actually setup a scientific study on all the weird things going on there and spent millions of $ subsidized by Robert Bigelow. ( one of the civilian space exploration investors )
Jaques Vallee/ John Keel / dr john Mack PhD and Grahm Hancock are also believers in this theory. They have many good books on this subject. These ( experiences ) have been here since the beginning of time and documented from cave drawings / verbal handed down stories / folklor / paintings / experiensers to present day experiencers.
We think we know all but just now touching on different theory’s ( string / nano / quantum physics and others being theorized and proven).
I’m sure I’ll get hammered for this but we need to realize there is more to this reality then the physical world.
    My two cents.
Thx for the shows too !

Lloyd pie and Melba Ketchum sets of alarms for me.just because she put 5 years into this study doesn’t mean she didn’t lie.check out some of her claims .Lloyd Pie was claiming the government Put cancer in him .As someone who has battled and Is battling th disease its offensive.Claims like that and Sasquatch braiding hair doesn’t put researchers in the best light..Check out some of their claims .Joe is entertaining .At least I laughed a few times

Michael D maybe you should perhaps take a precious minute out and dig a little about someone before you jump on the media bandwagon that was invented to discredit and make mockery when the person you seem to immediately disregard put her good name on the line to bring us the truth behind what Sasquatch really are. The campaign of disinformation against the Doctor is disgusting.
All fabricated by vermin who want to keep the truth hidden from us.
It has apparently worked to some extent as people like you soak up everything you hear with nothing to back it up.
Do yourself a big and research some facts from various sources before you jump on the waggon.
