News of the strange: Gorilla arm washes up on a beach

I want to thank Paul B. for sending this to me. Mystery as severed GORILLA arm washes up on a beach in Ireland.

Analysis found that the limb was from an animal, and it was soon determined to be a large primate. It is most likely that the arm comes from a gorilla, although local news reported possible other options, such as a chimpanzee.

Local authorities are now embarking on trying to unravel the mystery of where the several gorilla skeleton arm may have come from.

‘From Kilkee side out, I think the next land you meet from there is America so I don’t know, I really haven’t a clue,’ Clare County Council dog warden Frankie Coote told RTE.

‘We’re used to getting calls where farm animals wash up or a dog, a seal or anything like that, but this is an unusual one.

‘It’d be nice to get to the bottom of it and know exactly what it is and where it may have come from.’

Mr Coote has been taking care of the arm after it was released by Gardai. After police determined that the remains were not human, the handed it back to the council.

Mr Coote says he is currently storing the gorilla arm in his freezer.

Poachers some how lost gorilla ? body parts overboard? Gorilla parts are big business for poachers, especially the hands for some reason. And if it was lost by poachers, I hope ?? their boat ? went down at sea ? and they were all eaten by sharks! ?

The arm could have been carried down a SE US river to the ocean. Ocean currents could have carried the arm from SE US to Ireland via the gulf stream. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gulf_Stream#/media/File:Golfstream.jpg
Would be interesting to try for some DNA and compare to Melba Ketchum’s sasquatch DNA study.
I think I remember one of the Gulf Coast researchers telling of someone shooting a sasquatch in the SE US, then a bunch of sasquatches came out on the river bank and tore the dead one apart and started eating it. One sasquatch started beating an arm against a tree in an apparent effort to tenderize the meat. Sorry I can’t reference this story, but it may have been an interview with one of the Gulf Coast BF Organizers.

The cannibal sasquatches were in a BF report that was mentioned here. The arm was beaten to a pulp and eaten like a slim jim, bones and all. I have never got that picture out of my mind.
