Listen: 911 bigfoot call

I know all of the listeners have heard this many times especially since it is in the intro of the show. With all of the recent people contacting me saying they have “prowlers” on their property, it makes you wonder what is going on in someones mind when they call 911. This is a real phone call made from a house in Kitsap Peninsula, Washington State in 1990. The sheriffs did show up eventually, but the figure was gone at that point, it didn’t stick around for long. What is interesting about this witness is he wants nothing to do with Sasquatch. He knew that he had one in his yard but he did not want to say what it was fearing the cops would not come out.

This is off topic but. Can someone help me find the episode number for the show. That had the Latina women telling as a young girl about a BF chasing their pickup down the road. Thank you.

I think you’re talking about the Indian Reservation episode. Pretty sure. I’ve been trying to get help finding the one with the young man who said he was at some kind of camp with counselors or something and him and a buddy snuck off to go smoke a cigarette and encountered a sasquatch (might have even said it was grey) and saw that the sasquatch was carrying the front half of a dog that was ripped in half. I e-mailed Wes like 2 months ago but still haven’t received a response. No response here either.

There were two very early-on episodes with Brenda Harris from NewMexico, one in which an event was shared of sasquatch plucking a child out of the back of a moving truck, never to be seen again. Is that what you’re thinking?

I believe the Latina women telling her childhood story about the BF chasing the pickup is episode 59, the first interview. Date: Nov. 7, 2014

Thank you. But in this episode the animal chased down the pickup and climbed onto the bumper and extended it’s hand toward the little girl. and I think it happed in Mexico.

HEY BOBBY W, I’VE BEEN LOOKING FOR THAT EXACT EPISODE FOR MONTHS. AND CAN’T FIND IT ANYWHERE, BLOG TALK, YOUTUBE OR ANYWHERE ELSE. IT WAS ONE OF SASQUATCH CHRONICLES VERY FIRST EPISODES EVEN BEFORE THEY STARTED NUMBERING THEM. N IT’S HONESTLY ONE OF MY FAVORITES. AND YOU’RE RIGHT, IT WAS IN MEXICO. I WANT TO SAY IT WAS POSSIBLY BRENDA HARRIS BUT DON’T QUOTE ME ON THAT. THERE WAS A FEW SASQUATCH, ONE WAS VERY SKINNY SHE SAID IT PACING THE TRUCK. BUT THE ONE THAT JUMPED ON THE BACK OF THE BED WAS MUCH STALKIER. SHE SAID SHE NEVER REALLY FELT THREATENED AND IF IT WANTED TO TAKE HER IT COULD HAVE AND IT EXTENDED IT’S ARM OUT AS IF TO SAY TAKE MY HAND. FORTUNATELY HER DAD GOT A FEW SHOTS OFF AND IT BROKE IT’S GRIP ON THE BED OF THE TRUCK. HEY WES, IF THERE IS ANYWAY TO DOWNLOAD THAT EPISODE ON SASQUATCH CHRONICLES, I THINK THERE WOULD QUITE A FEW PEOPLE THAT’D BE GRATEFUL AND VERY MUCH ENJOY IT

Yep it was Brenda Harris and the two episodes that featured her were very early on. But yes she related an event where a young girl was plucked from the back of a moving truck, never to be seen again

It always seems to be the people who are not looking for these animals, or even know these animals exists, that seem to run into them the most often. This poor guy sounded like he wasn’t sure on whether or not to call it a man but he seemed like he didn’t wanna come off like he was a nut. It’s truely unfortunate that these poor people can’t express to people what they REALLY saw. These people aren’t crazy in fact in most cases some of these people are very well known and very well respected and honest members of their community. They’ve never been known to tell a lie but once they mention that they’ve seen an ape like bipedal massive animal people think they fell off their rocker

When I hear this, I always think I wish she would hurry up and get to police out there, but she kept bugging this fellow with questions, where she couldn’t help him anyway. Just get the police before it leaves. I am all for having an elephant ready to shoot.

I live in Kitsap county, not far the area ware this call was made. Since the 90’s a lot of housing developments have gone up, but the North end of the county has a privately owned logging area that is huge. I used to ride my horse’s there years ago, and would come across dead pigs and dear, downed trees in odd places, large rocks in the middle of trails and in certain areas the horse’s would get a bit skiddish. Also this logging area is not that far from ware this caller was living at, at the time of the incident. Now this land is used more by mountain bike riders, motor bikes, remote control flyers and a few folks still ride their horses in the back part of the area. But there is still plenty of forest around, and some of it is pretty dense stuff.

Cracks me up every time I hear it,people don’t realize how squatchy Washington is i remember going down the main street in Anacortes Wa, and seeing these berry stands were they sell local picked berries and they must have like 5-7 different types of berries that grow around there in season.

That 911 operater reminds me of a airline agent when they have lost your luggage, she is like a inflatable dartboard, or a screen door on a submarine.

I agree Steven D. I would like to hear all the details that happened before the 911 call was made. And then all the details after the cops got there. And does it still happen?
