Bigfoot Trap In Oregon

Southern Oregon is home to what is most likely the only official Bigfoot trap in the world. The ten by ten structure was built back in the early 70s by special permit. A wildlife research team out of Eugene, Oregon was inspired to build the structure by sightings from far back as the late 18-hundreds to up to the time they constructed the trap.

Reminds me of the guys from Mountain Monsters. They made many kinds of traps to caught BF. Whenever they caught something of size, it busted out. I think a big ole bear trap attached to concrete buried deep underground would work. Wouldn’t be purdy tho!

I have lived in Eugene most my life and didn’t hear about this. I was in high school when this was built. I guess I’m going to have to take a day trip down to see this. Thanks Wes!

I have to agree with everyone else on the trap..I can’t see it being strong enough to hold a bear never mind a Bigfoot ! What were those hunters/ trappers of long ago thinking, did they actually think the trap would work??
