Watch: Eyeshine captured by Robert Dodson

The Youtuber writes “This is a follow up to the video I posted yesterday showing the eyeshine and peek-a-boo motions captured by Robert Dodson. On this version I played with the contrast and brightness to try and bring out some more detail in the subject. This does appear a bit better than the first cut I released. If you want to see the original video as posted by Mr. Dodson, follow this link: http://youtu.be/pZ7oDZHlHTQ

I have watched several of Mr. Dodson’s videos. I am still not sure what to think. This is a good example… the eyes seem to go up and down a little too perfectly… perhaps its just me…

Anyone else have any opinions? I guess I am really sitting on the fence here, and the best I can consider this is anecdotal.

    He is in Oklahoma, correct?

I wish someone like this went out “armed” and just shot it in the face -that way we would know what it was or if it was human, I guess the camera man would shoot, shovel and shut up.

Anybody that charges after some eye shine possibly belonging to a squatch has got a big set. Seems if that is a squatch and I believe it’s very likely that, it’s kind of used to him and almost toying with him. There’s no other animal in the woods that will do what that thing is doing. They’d run for the hills not play hide-go-seek. It’s either a hoax or a squatch, nothing else.

As far as I know Steven, humans do not have eyeshine like that. So that makes a hoax very unlikely. This is the best eyeshine vid ever imho. And I recommend everyone watch the whole video.

Tom, I was actually referring to the almost MECHANICAL nature of the animal ducking and rising… it just seems so perfectly vertical with no horizontal or slant dynamic whatsoever. Just up and down and up and down. It could be two reflectors mounted on a vertical slide powered by pneumatics. The obvious retort to this thinking is the incredibly SMOOTH motion of the eyes, which points back to a biological mechanism of movement. The eyes do blink, as well if I recall.

I guess my observation is really more about the nature of the movements…

Yes. I totally agree! That thing is waaaaaay to machine like. Whoever is controlling it obviously were having a bad time at the controls. That doesnt even look like eyeshine. It looks like stright up led lights probably attached to some flipping blacked out piston thingy someone knocked up in a garage.

Also when he runs back why is the “bigfoot” still in the exact same spot AND how do you possibly move up and down like that? MY GOD people this one of the worst I have seen.

In this video before the eye shine you can see a large human object go down.. You don’t hear alot about south Georgia Bigfoot encounters . Now I know why, they happen more often than anyone knows because it is not talked about .Last night my cousin told me about Bigfoot actives around his home. One was spotted reaching in his goat pin,and his wife being growled at while she was feeding the goats in March of this year. He has pigeons that have there heads pulled off. I don’t think he unstands serious problem he has so I told him about this show.

Yes, Melanie, he often takes food out. I have watched several of his videos and find them quite entertaining, although a bit amateurish. I am no eye shine expert, but I think this could very well be a BF. I just don’t get the feeling this man is a hoaxer and he has been at it for a while now. I know he has been armed on some excursions and mentioned regretting not having his gun on one occasion. So, I think he is usually armed.

If you watch his whole video of this outting you will see the eye shine from something freakin huge when he turns around to see where the rock came from. Iv’e watched a few of his video’s and this one is abit old and i wondered about the almost mechanical up and down motion as well. However taking into account about how fluid these creatures re in there movements would have me believe otherwise in this i feel. you can see the blinking of whatever it is and that’s something that your gonna have a hard time faking. A very interesting video non the less. This guy has a big set or really short a loaf if you know what i mean. lol

In one of the close up shots you can somewhat see the eyes (the head actually) kind of swaying a bit. I think this was the real thing. Mr. Dodson has released several videos and so far this is the only one I have viewed where there is activity and interaction. His other videos are just mostly him setting up his bait traps and looking for eye shine in the dark. I’m sure if he was a hoaxer he would have released that video much sooner than this one. He’s definitely a brave man.

Did anyone notice any blinking while it was up high? I saw what appeared like it looked down around the .59 spot but not while it is standing up high. just seems a little strange.

If this is a bigfoot, then bigfoot may be like humans in regards that no one bigfoot behaves exactly the same way as another. Just like humans don’t behave like other humans 100% exactly! So if this bigfoot wants to play peek a boo, then it wants to play peek a boo. There aren’t experts yet to clearly say what bigfoot behaviors are, only amateurs. I mean, unless you consider the government having experts because it’s possible they have some bigfoots in cages etc…that’s always a possibility! This guy was brave, I’ll give him that!

I think you can answer that with simple economics… They are not the cheapest probably, but probably not much above that.. in the “good bargain for the performance” range. We are all guilty of it with something or other…

The Blair Cookie Monster project .
We drink a big ass jug of Jim beam every time we go squatch in cuz then it’s for sure we gonna see that big feller every time .
Thought I saw sumtin . Throwing fruity pebbles at me .

As big foot reportedly sense infra red light from game cameras surely people should get a big wide angle lens camera with an enormous flash.. wait till the moment it’s in range and blast away. There’s a pic of the florid skunk ape like that and is very clear!

I saw the original video quite a while back and also thought that the movement was very unnatural, but at the same time Dodson seems like the kind of guy that would be very unlikely to be in the hoax biz. I just don’t know what to think. Interesting that other people noticed the same thing I thought months ago.

I would ask that everyone watch some of the other videos Mr. Dodson has on his YouTube account. Before you dismiss his him as another hoaxer. Some of his videos will have you on the edge of your seat. The 5 or 6 videos he made while the BF was feeding in the gardens, are some of the most intense BF videos I have seen. Also, one of the fishing string videos, Dodson made, you can hear the fear in Mr. Dodson voice when the BF is only few feet away and follows him back to the truck.

Dude that shit is as FAKE as hell! LMFAO! You can clearly see that thing is some sort of robotic bloody thing that moves up and down. It moves at a constant speed and stops with a flipping judder without a tilt or anything. Just dead straight. I dont even think thats eye shine. Its clearly just two lights.

Also I recognise this crap video sway before I believe I watched something from this guy which was just plain fake. This is a hilarious . Whoever this dude is he needs to piss off and stop flooding this community with his horrendous nonsense.

    • Steven J

Whille I can say the movement is suspicious, the eye shine is not. Those eyes are reflecting, you can tell that when his light goes off angle and the eyes dim or disappear… a light source would not do that, and the coordination to do that artificially is enough to have me personally rule out that kind of hoax. Whatever is raising and lowering, it is reflecting.

This was not real. Too geeky gawky. Up and down up and down. What real sasquatch does that. It looked more like a black rug nailed to a wood log with two mason jar lids for eyes. And the way he talked, wasn’t scared at all. I think it was his kid who then had to go in for a bath and bed. Stay safe everyone.

  18. Sean C

Its funny, how many people on here, act like they know what the hell a sasquatch would do or think. I’ve seen some of this man’s videos, that actually made me tense up as I watched. I’ve seen him walk into the woods a bit, and on his immediate left, I swear there was a dark figure that had eye shine, and you could see the silhouette of what looked like a juvenile sasquatch there. He then quickly turns right, like he doesn’t even see it, and the figure doesn’t even move. It had been behind a tree, but as he walked in, he appears to walk right by it. I don’t know what that thing was that I saw in his video, but from what very little I know about sasquatch, standing still would seem to be exactly what it would do, to avoid bringing attention to it’s presence. Whatever he is experiencing, it’s more exciting than watching his videos and talking shit about them, I’m sure, so more power to him!

I have watched a BUNCH of Dodson’s videos, trail cam footage and night vision footage. I think with Robert, what you see is what you get and I just don’t think he could do a hoax, even if he wanted too. Sometimes I think he has big brass ones or just isn’t smart enough to be scared. Although in OK when he had several around the shop he was staying in, he was scared enough that he started to go outside but then thought better of it. But then he spent most of the night up in a tree on a small platform with a bunch of food to lure them in???

If I remember correctly, Mr. Dodson was hit in the ribs by a rock thrown by a BF….it actually drew blood. I think that might be why he was running when they threw one at him this time. Thanks for posting Wes!!
