A listener writes “I live in Idaho and my property borders Wyoming. I grew up always wondering if Bigfoot was real My dad always joked about Bigfoot, but at a young age I feel that he was trying to keep me close to camp.
As I grew older and began hunting on my own at 12 years of age I can honestly say that I never had any odd experiences until I was 19 years of age. When I was 19 my high school buddies and I went on a pack trip deep into the Wyoming wilderness. This was the first time that I experienced the reality of Bigfoot. I actually shared this experience with W.J Sheehan and he published it in one of his books. It wasn’t until years later that I started putting two and two together and realized that I had experienced numerous instances that I always ruled out as being bears or moose.
I have no doubt that Bigfoot exists and I was within 10 feet of one several years ago and I can honestly say that I was scared to death.”
Spoke to the witness and he describes this trip he was on when he was 19 years old. Everyone was on horseback. One of his friends was pulled out of his sleeping back one night. Everyday of the trip seemed to get stranger and stranger. The witness said “I thought we were being stalked by a human.”

This does sound like a dandy episode. Particularly for me is the instances of thinking bear or moose and what transpired. I also had experience while hunting (2 come to mind) when young, now that I look back, could they have been Bigfoot related. And I bet countless thousands, maybe millions of hunters and hikers over the years have had such events. If you are in their area, they are keeping track of you.

I have friends who are serious hunters. They hunt from Northern NM all the way up to MT and the BC Rockies. They laugh at my beliefs in BF, yet right after they give me a hard time, they talk about being paced out of timber and not being able to see anything when it should be visible. One claims he saw a “deformed” grizzly run down an elk. Another has heard the air raid siren vocalization. Same guy experienced the petrifying fear and dread in BC WITHOUT ever seeing anything, that’s not normal. YET they all explain away these encounters. I think really deep down inside they refuse to believe because either they don’t want to fear the woods because of love of hunting or it would screw up their view of the world and our place in that world.

Simply amazing and very nice comment James G. Several episodes of activity that defy anything considered natural, and yet they wan’t to dismiss it away, as something like a Bigfoot just can not exist.
