Tonight’s Show and update

Most of you know my mom was in Hospice. She passed away yesterday. I’m going to play a rewind show tonight. I will see everyone next week.

I wanted to share this with you. My mom would listen to the show and tell me how much she enjoyed it. I think she was bias. She told me “No one remembers what you said but they always remember the way you made them feel, so be kind to everyone even the ones that do not deserve it.” One day I was so frustrated with the intro, I could not get the audio levels right when I was trying to plug in a listener, you know “This is so and so and you are listening to…” and it was driving me nuts. She said “why don’t you sabotage your own intro. Have those creatures from Star Wars show up and mess up your intro.” Within 10 min or less the Jawa’s intro was born.

She had a big influence on me. Always reminded me to be kind to people, made sure I understood that I didn’t know everything about life like I thought I did and always remain humble. When I would visit and stand tall, walk around with a fat head she always reminded me that the super stars lawnmower was in the shed, the grass isn’t going to cut itself.

Rest in peace mom.

@Wes ~ Omgoodness. Thanks for sharing your mother with us. It’s a privilege.

I read the above words to my husband, and both of us were chocking back tears. To say I’m sorry for your loss is trite because I know you must be so devastated. I was in my 30’s when my mother left. I can feel your pain. We’ll be lifting you up to the Lord. Later_ m

I’m so sorry Wes. My heart mourns with you and if I could, would give you a big tight hug. Hang in there brother and surround yourself with family. You all are going to need each other. There’s no doubt your Mom was so proud of you. I pray God would fill you with comfort and peace that transcends understanding and to give you the strength to get through this emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually. Know that your not alone. In spirit we all love you and grieve with you. Remember Wes, its not Goodbye, it’s See You Later.

had a dream about my mom, what i believe was heaven, the grass was green the clouds where in the sky, not any houses just countryside, i turned around and there she was waving to me to follow her towards this tree in the middle of a field. i started to follow behind her as we ran towards this tree. i think she wanted to show me something but all the sudden it started pouring down rain and we turned around and came back, there was a house behind me all of the sudden and we both ran into the door. that’s when i woke up. i don’t think i was supposed to see any more than that and realized it wasn’t my time yet. i wish i knew what she wanted to show me, i would have followed her anywhere. hope you find peace Wes.

Prayers and sincere love your way, dear Wes. May you and your family be assured that nothing is more important than a mothers love. Clearly she loved in a big way. And we know from whence cometh your sly sense of humor: a true gift indeed, passed on the next generation. Keep the faith, my friend. Grief is so difficult to bear, but this too shall pass, and the new day will dawn. Tim

Dear Wes, I’m so sorry for the loss of your mom. She sounded like a beautiful woman filled with wisdom and grace. She thought you one of the greatest virtues in life, kindness. It’s evident you have that virtue by the way you treat others. My prayers are with you and your family during this very sad time. This is a Bible verse that I hope in some way will bring you comfort, it’s Jesus talking…”I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.” John 14:18. ????????

    So sorry wes..
I closed my Dads eyes for the last time on this earth over 9yrs ago…
Think of him every day…he is a Christian and is with the lord but the pain one feels for losing a parent never really goes away..
I finally came to the conclusion the more you hurt means that is how much you loved.
    God bless you and yours..
    Terry.

Sorry for your Loss Wes, your tribute to your mother was very heart felt and sits in my heart as a reminder to what my own feels are towards our fellow man/ women.
May God bless you and your whole family and help you through this time of sadness cause you can’t be with her at this time. But I like to believe she is in a better place and you will be able to see her again in time. This is my personal belief and what the Bible teaches . I don’t place my self to a religion, but I do believe in God and Jesus the son our Savior.
Take from it what you will , and know alot of us care and I will keep you in my prayers.
