They looked more like tall, chimp-like athletes

A listener writes “This morning I came across this story on MSN. The picture that accompanied the article took my breath away.

On Dec. 27, 2014, I saw 3 similarly looking  animals in the Missouri River in Montana about 30-45 minutes south of Great Falls.  Two were standing on the bank and one was in the middle of the river with back to me.  They were black in color.  The animals I  saw were not the big beasts that other people report.  They looked more like tall, chimp-like athletes. At first I thought they were people dressed in black diving suits until one of them on the bank stood up.

The face I saw was the face in the article’s picture. The face was framed by black hair. The skin was black. The encounter lasted for about 15-20 secs as we crossed the bridge.  The highway was snow packed and we were driving under the speed limit.  It was one of those, “Did I just see what I think I saw?” moments.

It surprises me that these creatures are at times  seen so close to” civilization” yet we do not have a specimen & they are for the most part still considered in the realm of make-believe. Always listen to the show.  You are doing a great job.”

I’m going with the juveniles of the squatch family. My thought is many see these and say they look like athletes… there not 1/3 of there full filled out size yet. Tall lanky and lacking the GIRTH OF MATURITY. .. my thought anyways

I’ve been following this story (about Homo naledi) since it came out. What isn’t said is that they have NO idea what color it’s skin was, nor what parts of its body had hair, or even what color it was… Not to mention eye color. The image from this article is an artist’s interpretation based on bones. Just bones. So… For all we know, the person who wrote Wes about what they saw in Montana could have seen a true remnant Honinid (although probably not Homo naledi…. They were VERY small! The anthropologist had to hire tiny slim women to retrieve the bones from a really cramped cave.)

A really interesting part of this story is that the scientists doing the dig found thousands of bones of just this one specie. No other animal bones were found. And they were something like 2 kilometers down, through narrow cracks in the rock. So, no indication of how the bones ended up there. The anthropologists are speculating that this very distant relative may have placed it’s dead there… So, some kind of burial. That would mean some form of culture, sort of. I forget how old these bones are, but I remember 200,000 years. I’ll go back and confirm that, and change it if I’m wrong. So… Yeah… Fascinating stuff, all around!

    Hmmm.
“Lee Berger, a professor at the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg who led the work, said naledi’s anatomy suggest that it arose at or near the root of the Homo group, which would make the species some 2.5 million to 2.8 million years old. The discovered bones themselves may be younger, said Berger, an American.”

There is a great PBS doc about this discovery btw.

Most people believe that these creatures need shelter from the cold. That is not true at all. The cold doesnt bother these creatures one bit. To be honest, they thrive in the cold weather. The colder the better for them. Sasquatch know that we humans cant survive in sub freezing weather. Especially at night. They dont need a roof over there heads or fire, like we do. They thrive in snowy cold weather at night especially.. We hairless humans are not going to be out unless we have to, not to mention standing in a river with snow on the ground. The 3 creatures this person saw was most likely juveniles. People need to get the perception that these creatures need shelter from the elements.

People need to get rid of the perception that these creatures need shelter from the elements. This man seeing one in the middle of the river in cold weather is a testiment to this.

Those are possibilities. But we also need to remember that there’s more than one type of these beings . In the south Eastern states the slightly smaller but more aggressive types seem to be more prevalent. While on the west coast and in the more northerly “i.e.” Colder harsher climate the witnesses report the larger more animal looking ones and according to some researchers on occasion there territories overlap.
