SC EP:97 The Chicken Man

In the late 1960’s a creature simply known as the “Abominable Chicken Man” had been reported on a farm west of Oklahoma City near El Reno. According to the Oklahoma Journal, a farmer found the door to his chicken coop ripped off and lying on the ground. On the surface of the door and inside the coop itself were strange hand prints about seven inches long and five inches wide. When he saw that several of his chickens had disappeared without a trace, he called the local state game ranger. The door was shipped to zoologist Lawrence Curtis, director of the Oklahoma City Zoo. After a study that included comparisons with the hand and paw prints of human beings, apes, monkeys, bears and other animals, Curtis confessed his bafflement. “I don’t know what this is,” he said. “It resembles a gorilla but it’s more like a man.” According to Curtis the creature’s thumb crooks inward as if deformed or injured.

IMG_0405I will be speaking with a law enforcement officer who has had his own run ins with Sasquatch. He says in several parts of Oklahoma, the locals still call this creature the Chicken Man because of the incident that took place back in the 1960’s and 70’s. It is interesting how around the U.S. everyone calls this creature Bigfoot or Sasquatch, but in the Midwest and in the South the locals who have been seeing these creatures for a long time give them names based on what they observe them doing, like “Corn Man”, “Chicken Man”, “Night Stalker” and “Wild Man”. The list goes on and on with local names. The Chicken Man Incident is an interesting case because so much physical evidence was left behind and was examined. Locals in the area would report seeing a large upright orangutan like creature harassing and killing their livestock.

    My belief and mine alone,is that some of the (patty) type are of the older generation that have been here.The (ape/man) type are a hybrid of recent tampering of human/ape probably by military,gov,or other unknowns.The half dog half man is some of the same or something brought into our dimension due to the late hour of time we live in,and we will start to see an acceleration of these things coming int contact with us.I do believe the gov wants this info suppressed to keep their involvement secret.My opinion.

      I suppose actual Government involvement is a possibility that has to be considered: …..Our Government has certainly demonstrated that they believe they have the right to mess with and spy on virtually everything and everyone.

      …….But I think that some consideration has to be given to a much simpler possibility. We know that the actual number of these animals in any given region is fairly small: ……And it follows then that the actual Breeding Population may be TOO SMALL in many areas to maintain a population that is free from the effects of close interbreeding.

      Mutations resulting from inter-breeding may well explain some of the physical differences that are being reported: ….Particularly those reports we hear of “Dogmen”, and faces showing “Downs Syndrome” like characteristics. These breeding distortions may also explain some of the reports that talk about erratic and/or excessively aggressive behavior.

      Just sayin’ …………………..

        I agree with ya. The populations of bigfoot in certain areas are pushed out and/or stressed in such a way, that in-breeding is occurring and that would definitely explain the weird features, such as Dogman, and aggressive individuals that are coming closer to suburbs and/or even kidnapping people & kids in the national parks as evidenced by David Paulides. I just hope everyone can understand that many of these creatures are very dangerous, but that doesn’t mean they all are. Too many people who “research from their sofa” are getting these silly romanticized ideas of bigfoot being a big fuzzy pleasant creature, and having “spiritual” powers.

          I agree, as I was saying the other day I believe that inbreeding within this species is probably much more common than we think. N inbreeding probably comes in to play when people are seeing these animals with a down syndrome looking face, physical deformities such as footprints, limps, etc. And it probably also accounts for some of these animals to have such a short temper. I’m sure, since they are so closely related to us, they probably share some of our same mental illnesses

      my belief is patty is a hybrid of reptilian alien from the orion system. thats why patty has esp. the military managed to get some dna from patty and fused it another dimension with a nordic type alen and reintroduced it into pattys third generation offspring to create a super weapon. but it didnt work, thet could not control these new creatures and they got out and now they are refered to as type 4. they are super aggresive and posess hybrid paranormal powers like mind control. they can also open up portals to thier true dimension at will. they choose to exist in our reality most of the time, because of thier fondness for flesh.

        Hello Erin F: Funny how you should mention reptilian & Bigfoot. I’m not one to go into fantasyland on Bigfoot & conspiracy theories. But there’s a lot of history among the native americans thru their legends, myths, petroglyphs/pictographs & their relationship with Wild Hairy Man that dates back hundreds of years. I recently read a Choctaw medicine woman telling the story about her tribes stories on the origins of the Wild Hairy Man & she talked about the Snake People, the Ant People, and part of Wild Hairy Man’s ancient origin included an ancient type of reptilian. Khat Hansen has her own site on educating people about Wild Hairy Man. Is what she is saying true? Don’t know, but there are other native american tribal legends & myths that are eerily similar. Happy Sasquatch hunting!

And can we still look forward to Bear and Coonbo for the 100th episode? Your doin amazing work by the way Wes

      Tyler, Coonbo was recently on the Dogmen radio show with Vic Cundiff! It is always interesting to listen to that man. I agree and hope so too. Sure do miss Will and Shannon but Wes is doing a bang up job all on his own too. Hope you might decide to do a show once in a while Shannon if you read this.

      Wes it was my mother’s farm in Canada town of Raymond Alberta that had the dancing orbs of light out on the prairie near their home. Time frame was early 1900’s and nearest neighbor was 11 miles away. Nobody had cars yet around there and wagon teams and horses was the mode of travel of the day where they lived. The Hutterites bought their land. But Mike Wooley said he mentioned it to you. Thanks for your hard work. The shows just keep getting better. Always something new!

        Ya, I listen to that show every Friday actually. I’ve listened to everything Bear and Coonbo has out there. Even when Bear had his show Bigfoot Outlaw Radio. N they also have a three part interview on YouTube as well. I can’t get enough of those guys, that’s why I asked

          Coonbo and Bear were the reason I spoke after 30 years to anyone about seeing one…for the longest time I told myself it was a released family pet that did exceptionally well in the wild…the episode Bear called in the ten foot encounter and the host from Wisconsin was crying was so genuine it made you feel there. Those guys gave the subject credibility for me…I trusted what I saw and quit making excuses to myself to explain it away…I couldn’t even tell my oldest friend without feeling like an idiot…I quit feeling bad for seeing what I saw. Now I’m afraid the governor and corporations are paying kill teams to wipe them out before they’re accepted as real by the scientific community…it is criminal what is happening. Deliberate extinction…of a specie.

            Eddie I am sorry for what so many have gone through that have had encounters. I believe and fear the same thing. There are some that same that they believe their populations are no where near that of the common black bears and if they are quietly cutting their populations down before it becomes common knowledge to all they exist, they could already be on the endangered species list and no one knows.

            Greg R. SC episode that Has Vic as a guest plays that segment. The “Alabama/Mississoppi campfire shadows show from the field “. What you don’t here on SC is the ladies on the phones asking the guy ” you alright” and Bear telling him “don’t run”. The guy is really really freaking out (understandably) …. He even comments how bold these things down here are. There is no doubt when you listen the guy is experiencing a very close encounter…the voice is trembling and you can tell he is crying.

    Do you think it’s possible some of those sasquatch that are down in the south are coming up from the South America region? There’s quite a few sightings down there and in central America. There is a lot of untouched wilderness down there, very thick country. There’s even said that there was a tribe of hairy giant brutes in South America. There is a lot of sightings down there but it’s not very often heard about. A while back there was a man who was lost in the wilderness down there with a friend and they ended up splitting up, his friend ended up disappearing, but he ended up running into two of these hairy giants. And one of them was flipping it’s lip up and getting rather aggressive so the man shot it, I believe in the head. At that point he was so exhausted he didn’t have the strength to take the dead hairy man’s body out of there. He eventually found his way out of there and on his death bed he told his story

        I’m really starting to love that everyone is coming together on this website. I’m glad the trolls went under their bridge. Amazing character n Unity on Sasquatch Chronicles. It’s truely a beautiful thing

          I’m thinking the trolls have largely gone because the content of the stories are no longer digging into the truth. It’s back to campfire stories with a hint of “these things are dangerous”, not “I have credible information and here it is, exposing Government involvement” that actively opens people’s eyes.
          Granted the campfire stories are cool, I tune in everyday to see what’s going on. But I think the troll army had an actual organized agenda directly related to the depths of your “rabbit holes” you were exploring.

            I said at time they’re paid to do this. The rabbit hole “was” The Ranbit Hole”. They’re willing to jail the innocent and kill a living breathing specie to extinction…Watch survivor man …He explains exactly why….”A sea of green and Billions of $” “They” only want to a pod us and live. We don’t have protect them but, just let them live!

    Wes ,this was a great show man,people are just beginning to puzzle the pieces together on Sasquatch names,GRASSMAN,CORNMAN,KANGAROOMAN BOGEYMAN,COWMAN,CHICKENMAN,WOLFMAN,BUSHMAN,HAIRYMAN,etc.,are all the same thing this was a great show!thank you.

    Oh yeah! Great show Wes! The part about the Oklahoma Rez is interesting. This sort of ties in with stories like the Firefighter at the Battle Mtn, NV fire and his comments about how this BF burn victim they were helping was especially drawn to this native american woman who was part of the medical team. When I listened to Khat Hansen, a Choctaw medicine woman at dogmanencounters radio episode #12, she talks about the native americans & their connection to bigfoot. Khat mentions that her people know of two types of Bigfoot, saying that the ones who have Red EyeShine are evil, dangerous, not intelligent and are drawn to blood. She also mentions the other BF as being more intelligent, will avoid people, but have extreme emotions & can hurt or kill people. Khat also mentions that when her people were driven out of their original homelands, that what was part of the tribe’s beliefs & ways also came with the tribes to their new homes which includes BF, dogman, etc. Again…Thanks to Wes and his hosts!

    Great show Wes would like to see the photos that you get. I would love to see the video from that casino but understand why they won’t show it. The part about it carrying the child off got to me though, I know what Jim Lansdale means when he said that if it terrorizing people in their home something has to be done. The description of it motioning to the child to come closer to the window freaked me out, if the child were mine that squatch would have been shot the minute he showed up again.
    As far as government knowledge I sincerely believe they know about Sasquatch and its origen. They don’t care if people are going missing or being terrorized it’s all about money.

    Another great show Wes! Love your interaction with the guest. Love Will, but did get a bit tired of him bringing up his experiences everytime a guest talked about theirs. Kinda got old.

    Has anyone tried putting a trail cam up high in a tree facing downwards? Some say they can sense the infrared, what if it’s really high on a tree branch at a 45 degree angle or whatever, just a thought…

    Don’t you just love these guys from the south and how they tell their experiences, I sure do. The casino story was mentioned by Dave Paulides in his book Tribal Bigfoot. Good show!

    Jesus! Y’all getting a bit too X-Files for me up there. These are animals. They’re from earth. Deforestation is forcing them into smaller pockets and BOOM! Yes! Inbreeding.
    All I really wanted to say was that the description of this show sounds badass and I can’t wait to listen to it. So happy Wes is in the saddle still.

    Only been a member for about 2 months. So far from what I’ve seen and heard (even though it probably was the most turbulent time) this has to be the most friendly sight to be part of. Hope it stays this way and the trolls stay under what ever bridge they are under and leave us be.

    Wes these crestures have no fesr of us. But they sre very smart. Theyre much more smsrter than what we give them credit. If they wsnt you they will take you
    Doesnt matter if you have a gun ot not. Now there is bad ones that stay away from people. Yhe Genowska will take you and eat you bones and all. Spmetomes Clothes too. For some reason they will not eat shoes.

    I don’t know why we’re talking about protecting them and taking people’s property because of their habitat. We need to be discussing how to rid the woods of these things. They’re coming in closer and closer to populated areas, we are in direct competition with them, and the fact that our guns are being taken away from us, especially guns of the caliber that are needed to protect ourselves from these things, you follow this line of events a few decades into the future and this story doesn’t have a happy outcome for humans.
