SC EP:94 Strange Bigfoot Encounters In The Woods

 

Tonight I speak to several witnesses that have had strange encounters with Sasquatch in the woods. Randy talks about an encounter he had where a 300 pound rock was thrown off of a cliff at him along with strange vocalizations. I also speak to Kevin, a former police officer, who had an encounter which sounded like “Two apes fighting.”

    I hope that when the forums do come back online that they are moderated, we really do not need to have this place become another Bigfoot Evidence-type of place where any serious discussion is completely out of the question, and not even bothered with anymore EXCEPT for the trolls who live there and spew their ignorance 24-7 365 days a year. As for tonight’s show, another good one Wes. I like what he was saying about how you should never want to encourage a sighting because of the inherent danger that these creatures can pose. The more I listen to the TRUE nature of these beasts, the more I find myself moving further and further away from my friend Mike at Sasquatch Ontario (who I like and think seems like a nice guy and all) and the disservice I now am seeing that his supposed encounters offer us. The idea that “I love you buddy” can be communicated to the Texas type Sasquatch or the Dogmen is a whole other realm.

      Amen to that Jim D, I am cbrippee and find not much going on anymore that is worthwhile. This is what an unmoderated forum will do. Trolls invade and the good folks leave.

      As for this episode, another good one indeed. I can relate to Kevins adventure up in the Huron National Forest of Michigan. This is where I go out some in the Summer, usually in the county just below Alcona, that being Iosco. Have had stone thrown at us in the night. Late June of 2011 have had two to three close to the cabin at Round Lake making a loud call followed by an owl sound followed by a Loon call and immediately the Ohio Howl coming from the North maybe a mile away like it was saying time to come home as all went quite. Following year my wife was up late and told me next day she heard a loud howl coming from the North woods. I played the Ohio howl for her when we got home and she said that was it. The best of all from this area is my Michigan friend Rick who saw one while bow hunting around 2000. It scared him so bad he quit hunting. He told next to no one except his wife for years until he found out I had become interested in this subject. His voice quacked with fear and trembling as he told me of the encounter 10 years after the fact. He went with me to the Bigfoot conference in Comins, Mi. a few years ago and told his story to some researchers and broke down while telling it. I would so like to get him to come on Sasquatch Chronicles to tell of his event. Not sure if he would as going back to the event is traumatic for him, and he can not understand why I want to see another one.

        Just make sure that IF you do go out in the woods and you suspect that you might run into one…..that you bring some heavy firepower. Iosco county is where me and my wife were married! (Tawas City….on the beach). It is a beautiful area, but I’m always cautious now. I’ve been back to Alcona county once since then and I still have flashbacks to that night I just told everyone about on this episode. As for your friend who had a run in up in Comins, I know it’s hard…..even having been a USMC Officer and then police officer…..I feel better. May I ask if you could tell a snapshot of his encounter or what he told people at that meeting. Really am interested. We live in Alaska now and it’s a BIG world up here. I don’t want to be that close again……ever.

          BRAVO SIR ! didn’t Shoot ! ( Please nothing to do with the Job you had . I respect all police officers – except North Dakota Police officers . Who thought it would take 4 officers to beat me down ….. maybe a little salty over that . But that was Dickson ND) ( AND That was when I was still drinking . So I guess I will Forgive , I was Not DRUNK until they hit me with those clubs . When they dragged me out of the Bar , I was Really DRUNK. But that has nothing to do with Anything )
          But you thought it to Be Human ! They Are Human , only a different manner of Human . You said you heard them Speaking .
          They have 2 arms
          2 Legs
          1 Head
          No Neck
          All I have gathered from the D.N.A Debate , is that they are Human . ( even though some post call them Primates ) I do believe they are Intelligent. Maybe not Math & English – A High School Graduate . But they have been able to avoid being seen for How Long ?
          I never have seen one . & I do not care to . I only find it very Fascinating !

      These creatures mimic for reasons we do not know of, maybe just things they hear like a parrot would do? But maybe sas uses the mimic in strategic ways to draw prey or people into a trap? But why would they mimic chainsaws and other man made mechanical things like semi trucks and dirt bikes? They have a creepy side and should never be trusted or called in unless it maybe to harvest one on a professional level.

    Love to hear various encounters in one evening! Great Show once again!! I really hope you don’t put the forum back on the site. I believe that people have the right to their opinions however given the nature of the subject, I believe it opens a whole lot of cans of worms and people don’t know how to verbalize constructively. If for some reason you decide to put it back on, then it needs to be closely monitored and members immediately deleted/banned for bad mouthing members, guests, and hosts. ZERO tolerance. You also asked for suggestions for the site/show.
    1. A section for Photos and another for Videos/Audios ( I wish you shared more from what guests have shared with you; given their permission. I still feel out of the loop when it comes to evidence)
    2. Wednesday Shows should be for Members Only.
    3. Establish a Zero Tolerance rules for the Forum (No bashing, No foul language, No name calling)
    Wes, you are doing an excellent job and commend you for your continuous efforts and support for your guests. You have provided a place to heal from their wounds. As always Outstanding Job!!!!

    Of Course they are not the Nephilim , They were Super Intelligent. Taught man of Warfare , & weapon Making .
    I am convinced that Sasquatch was Esau , in the Bible .
    Again :
    1) He was covered with red hair , as a like a Garment . When he was Born , & every time he is referred to it is as Hairy Man.
    I could go On & On . Don’t Cry about it . Nobody needs to have a Fit . I will not .
    No One ever Cry’s when the First Nation Peoples view of Sasquatch comes up . I only bring up a Point for Discussion .
    I do not care who you want to Marry
    Nor what you choose to Believe / or Not Believe . That is YOUR Business . Not Mine .
    Where the Nephilim the Ones that Built Stone Hedge ? The Pyramids ? The Stone Chambers of North Eastern united States ? That all have some kind of Alignment to the Winter Equinox ? Maybe ?
    The Norse Mythology is Old , Very Old .
    One of the Story’s , Thor & Loki go to Jotunheim , To the Giant City. Where they are Put to the Test & Fail .
    Later at a Feast that was held by Aegir Lord of the Sea. While there a Stranger was at the Back of the Room .
    After the Feast Odin , Called the Stranger to tell his Tale . He was Utgardloki King of the Giant City . He confessed to the Tricks he Played on the Hero’s . One of which he gave Thor a Drinking Horn to drain . Thor took it & tipped it up & Drank , But when he Lowered the Horn , The Mead had barley went down past the Rim ?!?
    A Second Time , He tipped it up & Drank & DRANK . When he brought it away from his Mouth , it wasn’t even to the 1/2 way point yet !
    A Third Time , He tipped it up & drank & DRANK & DRANK . & when he was done , it was just below 1/2 . ( He was Pissed !)
    Utgardloki admitted that this was a deception, For the other end of the Horn was in the Very Ocean !
    And when Thor kept drinking the very Level of the Ocean receded! If he did not Believe it , he only need to ask Aegir ! He would even admit the Ocean went down 3 Times !
    Now – With that said …… was that the Ice Age ? When the very Ocean was receding ?
    Was the Earth Populated then ? I would guess So .
    The Norse Themselves were Giants , But I do not think they were these Primitive Feral People that live on the Far Reaches from Society .

      Being a fellow Scandinavian, I’m curious if you made the connection concerning the film, “The 13th Warrior”. I believe a little digging would reveal that the creatures the Vikings battled were in reality a form of BF. just a thought….

        That movie is based on a book called Eaters of the Dead and they are in fact described exactly like a bf. They only changed them to men in bear pelts for the movie. But it is a great movie. Im sure you alreay knew this. Just wanted to state for others reading your post.

        Gen 25 – when Rebekah was Pregnant , Twins struggled together with in her .
        She went before the Lord to inquire why & was Told ” 2 Nations are in your Womb , 2 manner of People will be Separated from your Bowels ” ” The One People will be the Stronger , But will serve the Younger .”
        When Esau was Born he came out Red all over , as if wearing a Garment of Hair.
        I do not see the Connection between Esau & Herod , or Russia . Or anywhere else . But do not worry , I am still reading ……….
        There is quite a Time Span , Between Esau & Herod . Isn’t there ?

        Such as Odin – Loki – Thor – Frey – & So on . Loki was a Giant , I know from what I have read . & Odin had ties to the Race I believe .

    Wes — Glad to see you take the Bull by the Horns.– Reply to ‘Why is Nephilim being brought up with regards to Sasquatch?’: My thoughts are because of ancient archeological findings of Giant Hominids (Humanoids?) in Burial Mounds all acrost the USA including Catalina Island; Grand Canyon – Utah & Paiute legends; Lovelock Cave, Nevada; Lake Tahoe/Truckee area; Clovis, New Mexico; Wenatchee, Washington. And then there’s the Native American legends & stories of Wild Man, Red-Haired Giants (Paiutes), and Giants in places such as the Burial Mounds & Cahokia. Then there’s biblical references on Nephililm as Giants & books by Zecharia Stitchin on Nephilim, Annunaki, Giant races.     Reply to ‘What is the significance of Orbs of Light and Bigfoot sightings/encounters?’ — My thoughts to this are because there is historical references dating back to over a hundred plus years on unknown Orbs of Light that are seen by eyewitnesses who see these Orbs just prior to a Bigfoot encounter, or in areas where there is known Bigfoot sightings/encounters; And that these Orbs of Light are strongly connected to ancient Native American Burial sites or Sacred sites as well as areas with strong geomagnetic energy or vortexes (earth’s natural ley lines). I have lots of data on these Orbs of Light, but there’s far too much data to post here & that data may be way more than what anyone wants to engage in.

    Wow.. the guy describes he and a staff member are going down to the stream near some cabins and it was around 1:00 AM, AND that these guys could see quite a lot of this creature because he thinks that the moon was NOT quite full but bright enough to give good lighting on a dark night… Hmmm. Ya don’t need a full moon to see pretty good! What is interesting is that this first experiencer is also ill from an epiletic attack on top of a terrifying encounter with a large bipedal muscular creature… and all of this should affect his ability to recall. What I am saying is that these brave people who have these Bigfoot encounters are still capable of keeping it together during the incident and are even braver to come forth and share it with others. Kudos!

    Wes, great show and credible eye witnesses. Kevin did you find the 1000 lb moose 30 ft up in a tree in AK? Probably not a brownie that did that. Get any photos? Would love to see them if Wes starts a photo gallery on this site.

      One of the residents did in Tok, Alaska and alerted the Alaskan State Troopers who saw it as well. If you go into the gas station (Chevron) they will fill you in. There is a group in that area who basically defends the rural communities when these things become bothersome to the subsistence hunters/gathers..

    Thanks to all that listened. We pondered telling others about these encounters—-not wanting to be labeled crazy. Truth is often stranger than fiction. True moments of terror are seared into our minds. Traumatic memories still made fade with time….but they NEVER leave you.

    I strongly encourage ANYONE who wants to share their encounters to do so on this radio forum.

    That being said….”Sasquatch Chronicles” would make a great show—-much like the “In Search Of” tv show from the 1970’s narrated by the very talented (and sadly missed) Leonard Nimoy.

      I made a comment in a post above Kevin and Keeli about your Michigan encounter. I, my nephews, wife and friend Rick have had some experiences in the county just to the south, Iosco County. My friend Ricks sighting is similar to yours and freaked him out good. That Huron National Forest is in my opinion the hottest place in Michigan for Sasquatches. Well the Huron and the whole Corridor that takes you over to and past Houghton and Higgins lake over to lake Michigan and the Manistee National Forest and where Stacy F and her group has had some fantastic luck.

    Don’t worry none Sir , I believe , But have No Care to see one . & Yeah they are Nocturnal , the Black Eyes ……..

    & Yeah So Fucking What ! I did play the Flute in Band Class – for 2 Months . Until they seen I was only using it to get out of Class , & that I would never Leave the Chair I was in .

    Maybe have a Troll button… If ten Members push the button Frank ( MST) the offending contributor gets a Troll Time Out…

    After three “Troll Time Outs” the offending Troll is permanently banned…

    Wes -Another Forum Post: I just sent you an email and a couple of links to a successful message board that I belong to that I’m trying to put you in contact with. The site’s owner is an online friend and a good person who may be able to offer you some sage advice on how he (and we ALL really) have been able to deal with the troll problem that anonymity and especially controversial subject matter always manages to attract. I hope you utilize my friend’s wisdom and help for the re-launched Forum section here at SC. Please don’t let the trolls do to it what they have done and continue to DO to Bigfoot Evidence’s Comment section.

    Thanks for keeping the show real Wes! Show is great with one host, no butting in, just letting the individual share on their own. Quality of the show is much improved and I can’t thank these brave people enough for coming on. Getting off subject here do u think Les Stroud would come on and discuss his current project re: BF on the Discovery Channel? He brings a realistic approach to the subject regardless if u believe or not

    The psychological aspects of the encounters are always very interesting. We’re so used to being feared from the animal kingdom that it’s unnerving to run into an animal that doesn’t display that trepidation. I remember running into a coyote once that had no intention of shying away from me. My emotional state went from confidence (“I’ll scare this guy away”) to a sense of dread. And that was a COYOTE (the roadrunner that ran by seconds before didn’t even notice me – that was just insulting). On another note, why do only tall people have eyewitness encounters? Every interview: “How tall would you say it was?” “Well I’m six-foot-seven and…” You never hear “Well I’m five-foot-four inches and this thing had to be…” It just never happens.

    Great show Wes! Dang I live only 35 mins. from Placerville CA. Where the guest had his last encounter is where el dorado national forest starts, there’s a lot of wineries there, even a golf course; after that starts getting more wooded and less populated. I thought there was no activity in the area since Sacramento is only 1 hour away and Placerville has decent amount of population, not really that rural. Interesting….

      We had lived down the street from Lava Cap. The USGS has a tree planting operation there. It really is Camino though….just Placerville mailing. There were alot of old fruit trees and that area is pretty forested and one can move from forested area to forested area easily. LOTS of wildlife there! It was VERY peaceful up there….but nothing compared to Alaska!

        Is beautiful up there, I go hiking and camping at desolation wilderness farther east, ice house, stumpy meadows, etc. I thought there would be no action around here; maybe further north past mendocino, humboldt, glenn. Anyway, living in Alaska is a dream of mine, good luck over there and take care! 🙂

    I’m wondering if the BF in Randy’s last encounter was so intrigued by Randy’s attack, BF was lost in his thoughts, followed what he thought were a couple of his BF buddies until, whoops…guess not, sized up the fear output of the Not Buddies, got bored & walked off.

    After looking at google earth 2yrs. ago for Squachy property in WA. I came up with Darrington WA. and how funny to hear this last report from Kevin and Keylee out of Darrington WA. it kinda make me feel like I gotta nose for this eh!

    Christopher you may be on to something as there may be the possibility to run concurrent Google Earth topographical maps overlaid with tracking dots of known sightings to along with seasonal graphing of sightings to make some sort of prediction of where they will show next. or at least it would seem likely eh? You may have already hit on this in your research and assessments. Some folks have that sharp sense to do this sounds like your strong point. If I could do this I would be marking these to definitely decide where not to go.
