SC EP:730 Where the Footprints End II

Tonight I will be chatting with Timothy Renner and Joshua Cutchin. Their book is called “Where the Footprints End: High Strangeness and the Bigfoot Phenomenon, Volume II: Evidence.”

The guys write “Despite continued attempts to uncover the truth, proof of the bigfoot phenomenon has eluded researchers and cryptozoologists for decades. Witnesses regularly describe seeing and interacting with something like a large, undiscovered hominid… and yet, such sightings regularly produce evidence directly at odds with conventional scientific explanations. It seems impossible to reconcile these peculiarities—among them mystery lights, UFOs, unusual sounds, mindspeak, cryptic stick signs, and anomalous footprints and trackways—with the notion of flesh-and- blood creatures evading detection in the modern frontier.

As remarkable as the discovery of a manlike primate would be, what if bigfoot is something stranger still?”

            Wes:
You know that I am vocal about my penchant for “encounters” only – but – you hit this one out of the park.
            I’m going to listen again.
            Excellent.

Oh – one constructive point – for a show like this., it would be nice to have a link or listing of the books that were mentioned.

And if anyone would like to dip into the link between physics and consciousness, try:
“Stalking the Wild Pendulum” by Itzhak Bentov.

Hey Wes. I am new here, but have gobbled up any and all of your stories on youtube, and other credible channels there in. I just want to say, you have the patience of a saint You deal with peoples opinions and tantrums, yet you stick to what you know and what is associated with each other, and I just want you to know, it is a pleasure to be here with you. Thx for all your hard work. It doesn’t go unnoticed. I live in Vermont. I have never had an encounter. I have sons that are avid fishing and hunters that are always in the outdoors in the back forty, loving the land, and I just want them to be safe, and knowledgeable. They may think I am crazy, but, they too know anything’s possible. So when I say to them, if you see or hear this, be watchful. If you are in a situation, never point your gun just make your way out. Do not show your fear. Maybe, they will remember what crazy Mom said, if in fact, my boys, ( not keyboard tough guys, asking for scarier encounters to listen to in their city apartment) do run into this creature, they will remember Moms words….you are a blessing to many Wes. Thank you again.

Imagine my surprise when I look in the comments section and see a post from “James C”. I’m thinking, “What, did someone hack my bigfoot account just to mess with Wes?” 😀 I don’t think hacking Sasquatch Chronicles accounts is a thing…didn’t realize people can have the same screen name.

I’ll have to change my screen name to “The OG James C”. 😉

This show made me feel what I am …. Impatient, not the sharpest knife in the drawer .
I’m not the center of the universe . These shows are not made for Cliffs approval or entertainment .
I had to stop after 5 min. First time for everything. Will definitely be back though on Sunday .

Just listened to you Wes on Crypto PTSD . The subject matter was encounters that you did not go public with for various reasons. It was absolutely riveting. I could’ve listened all night . Quickest 90 min ever.

Hay Wes the answer to your question “ what is Bigfoot “ the Sumerians or Annika brought and created slave workers to mine gold . The hominids then the ones that could not reproduce the greys . Then us. Then they sinned against us creating giants and the hominids creating Bigfoot. The hominids were mostly killed in the flood . Lilith , Kane and esaw. Most likely hominids. Extra fingers and toes is from chromosome miss aliement . Due to dna tampering. The fallen angel are light boings and can go to orb , invisible. And eye glow. Fossil record show we over lapped.

“Up, up and away in my beautiful balloon.” This is the song I hear every time I hear the name “5th Dementsion.” Sorry, but this is really all just theories. I’ve heard if someone travels into space for ten years that person doesn’t age like if they were on earth. Interesting thoughts, thanks for the show Wes…

Really excellent and informed conversation, Wes, Tim and Josh. Great hosting job Wes, as always with two informed reputable sources. Great that we can all benefit from their hours and hours of research.
Am here as a member, not just to be entertained, but to listen, learn and continue developing my own context and framework for understanding this other reality experienced by so many. Many years exploring the topic, combined with my own experiences, lead me to listen to top interviews and conversations like the one offered up tonight, In addition to the experience or’s encounters..
Multiple thanks West for continuing to move the conversation/understanding forward, and always in an simulating fashion. Timothy D.

      PS/ for Wes:
Gregorian Chant is a type of Christian plainsong developed in the late ninth and tenth centuries. Named for Saint Gregory, a sixth century pope. Much more can be found online. The reference in this podcast provides a fascinating lens through which to views some of the sounds recorded between Sasquatch/Bigfoot., including the Sierra Sounds.
Apple Music or Alexa will be happy to play if requested.
I prefer the monks of the Abbey of Notre Dame Cathedral, in Paris. The chant is hauntingly melodic and beautiful…even mesmerizing is they contemplative gift to the soul. Gregorian Chant provides a form of centering prayer unlike most other music ever created.
It’s my go to most mornings, and put me in that special place to be present to both myself and others.
Not surprised these hairy inter-dimensional knuckleheads would have some associative link to ancient the church and its coral history.

is that the faint tone of a flute?
amazing what a few years in a field will result in.

So is bigfoot not a normal animal? is that the lengths people are willing to go to ?

  9. Robert E

I’m a fan and patreon supporter of Tim and his show strange famillars ,unfortunately between Tims podcast and Seriahs show “where did the road go” this ones not new for me, but it was great you had them on hopefully it brings them more supporters, I will be looking forward to Sundays show! Hope you have a great weekend Wes and can enjoy the superbowl!

intellectuals are some of the dumbest ppl on earth no logic or wisdom only book knowledge. Science is a bunch of idiots living in their heads all agreeing on bullshit.. no one knows shit about nothing , what ever makes you feel better about death. And if the indians were so mystical and in touch with earth why did they all get wiped out? sounds like god punished them for being pagans lol

  11. Caroline L

Let’s see… creatures without hygiene stunk because of inter dimensional travel? UGH. Yet another paranormal purporting guest with an annoying voice who talks fast and shares his theory as fact. Can’t do it.

  12. Donald P

Great show Wes. As much as I love the encounter shows, I think we all pretty much agree they exist. It’s time to figure out what they are and what their purpose is. Once we can do that, then maybe we’ll find out who we are and what our purpose is.

  13. Kathy K

I tend to agree with a few other people on here that subscribe to S.C. for “Face to Face” encounters not a bunch of so-called experts giving their ideas on what sasquatch is or isn’t.I suppose everyone has an opinion and I don’t knock anyone for it, but if I wanted to hear their scientific ideas I’d buy into their podcasts.
Lately, it seems that the free shows are better than the shows that I’m paying for, why is that?
Wishing Everyone ( Including Wes!) a Wonderful weekend and Stay safe!

Not all mammals are marsupials but all marsupials are mammals. Mammals have mammary glands to nurse their young. Marsupials give birth to little embryos that finish their development in mammas pouch, where they latch onto a nipple and continue to grow until they outgrow the pouches and pop out as little Joey’s.

Hi Wes, thanks for yet another fabulous show. Here’s a thought for you: Back some time ago in a show you mentioned that a first nations lady put Sulphur down on the ground as a boundary around her home to protect it from Sasquatch / other unwanted guests. If Sulphuric scents are a product if inter-dimensional portals being established, and directly associated with them, perhaps that is why these creatures and other nasties steer well clear of them?

    • Claire L

I should have added: “And if these creatures and other paranormal entities use or are forced to use these portals to move from their point of origin to their destination.”

Wes, I really enjoyed this episode. It’s nice to hear that there are others out there who are willing to look at this subject from multiple perspectives, including trolls, goblins and the fairy folk in general. I’ve found that through the years, my own experiences have a relationship with folklore and descriptions of fae behavior. Please continue to bring all the information included in these events. I personally think the answer is in the “woo woo” stuff. It’s only “woo woo” because we don’t actually understand our own reality.
