SC EP:658 It Reminded Me Of A Man

Spoke to the witness and had a brief conversation, he said “while driving in York, Pennsylvania I saw this huge creature. It was bent down next to a creek.

I stopped to look at it and other drivers pulled over. The creature stood up and had this look like it was upset it had been seen. It had something in its hand. The creature turned and looked at us. It reminded me of a man…a large…hairy man.

It than slammed its fist to the ground and then collapsed to all fours and ran off so fast it was a blur. I have never seen anything move that fast. I was close to this thing. There is so much more to tell.” The witness has agreed to come on the show.

The witness said he has searched online fore something to compare to what he saw that day. He said this is the closest thing he could compare it to.

            Update: Drove 238 end to end twice this morning. Rural area, lots of houses and not that long of a stretch of road (5 mi-ish). I am up and down that road a good bit during the week but have never driven it end to end- including a piece that goes into an industrial/ business area near the township building. Could not find the scenario Scott spoke of with a bridge and creek. The one or two areas with water visible from the road with are attached to farms. Now, 238 has some twists and turns and crosses other roads with names like Farmbrook, raintree, etc. it actually turns into a road called “Church” for most of 238. There is also dense vegetation and lots of wildlife on an adjacent road, Sinking Springs. Just saying one of these secondary roads off of 238 may present the scenario but 238 does not imo.

            Sorry to take almost 4 years to respond to your comment but I actually never saw it after I left mine back in 2020. I live less than 3 miles from the encounter point and travel that way often on my way to hike in the nearby state forests of York County. The exact location of Scott’s encounter was on Susquehanna Trail North (Rt 238), at a concrete bridge with a railing that crosses over Little Conewago Creek. Every time I drive it now I always glance down to the creek to the point where Scott saw it.

          Anyone know exactly where this sighting was? I was from that area years ago and I also tried to locate the spot on Google Earth. The only spot that I could find was the intersection of 238 and 181 just West of John Rudy Park and just East of 83.

          If this was the place I’d think it would be pretty easy to find some evidence.

          If the witness reads this please post some more info on exactly where the location is, I’d like to check it out.

    Wes do what you need to, talk about Sasquatch, orbs, UFOs, the government coverup, vortex’s, paranormal activities, as I believe the hairy scaries do exist with the high strangeness such as different planes of existence.     Wes this being that the guest saw is very reminiscent of the Sykesville monster that was discovered along the river by the fisherman. Sounds like there is a hidden enclave of these being in the Northeast of the USA. Sykesville Maryland is not far from where the being was sited in Pennsylvania. You covered the Sykesville monster early on in about episode 29 or near that. Makes a person wonder where these thing are living in that area. Great show and even the paranormal discussion was fascinating.

    Scott, welcome to our world. ? For some reason these strange creatures overtake our thoughts once we’re forced to be aware of them. I feel compelled to see mine in daylight….and I don’t know why. Maybe in the hope it won’t be as frightening. ? When it’s dark there’s added “scariness”, or it is for me.

    Wes…thanks for the intro about the “high strangeness” and the willingness to explore some of it. I don’t like it any more than the next person, but when you witness weird stuff or you’ve got weirdness going on in spite of or because of your sasquatch encounters, well….there’s gotta be a relation to it…..or maybe some of us are magnets for “weirdness”. No sasquatch encounter is “typical”, but for those that “just saw a sasquatch”, maybe there was something else lurking about also that was missed….or will show up later. Perhaps some sasquatch are primarily animals, some are human hybrids and still others are something else entirely. Who knows….certainly not me. Also….very weird that state police checked on Scott….very weird indeed.

I think that personally I would not want to see another such creature and would say a prayer for protection and a calm mind each day.     Interesting thing about the white lady for myself is before that episode ever aired I had been told of a co workers home in central Minnesota that he grew up being haunted. Alot of weird stuff happened there. His father did not believe in ghosts but was looking out the window during an intense summer thunderstorm and saw the white lady. He couldnt understand it but did not dismiss it either. Said it was a lady dressed in old fashioned white from another time era. He said they had mounds on their property, I asked if he ever excavated one he said no ( probably a smart move not to) what would you think about mounds on your property? I’d wonder about them and probably Bobcat one up someday so Iam glad I dont have mounds in my yard. He told another co worker that he was home alone and a UFO landed in the field next to his home, said it freaked him out enough to where he hit the carpet and was afraid to look out the window at it. Plenty of weird stuff took place there and he was a straight forward guy and I believed him. Just interesting that there was a white lady incident there and before I heard it on SC.

    I have no issue with paranormal content on the show. I’ve listened and subbed for more than a few years. I also WAS a subscriber to Tony’ s show and if it wasn’t Patreon I’d also sub to Tim’s podcast. I love your show Wes and it’s not the topics of content I personally have an issue with. It’s the crackpots you’ve had on the show lately. Complete utter rubbish accounts where people have encounters with every one of their favourite paranormal entities. It’s not the subject content thats the problem. It’s the bogus stories from bogus guests that hold no credibility in the fiction they bang on with. Tonys show needs a title change to “Bible Studies with Tony and crazy folk” and it’s for that reason I can’t support the show anymore, Tim’s remains a very educational and interesting show. Please don’t fall through the cracks, you’ve had the best Sasquatch/paranormal content podcast for years and have been a pioneer in the new media platform.

    i think the “neanderthall” narrative is our lying “science” actually covering up for sasquatch and/or greasing the skids for an inevitible revealing of sasquatch so they have a narrative for their BS evolution script. They need a long standing story of neanderthalls in our collective memorys to say “hey this is what these sasquatch evolved from”

    One day it will not be possible hide sasquatch anymore as they are breeding and reproducing. So they have a script ready to go when they do. Saying they evolved from neanderthalls. Right now they dont wanna admit sasquatch because they are happy with keeping their secret as bigfoots continue to kidnap and devour and kill adults and children all over america. Remember we have insanely evil vile people that rule over us that worship the devil (freemasons). Death and killing is fine with them. After all they dump sodium fluoride in your tap water which gives you cancer and kills you. 1 out of 3 of us will get cancer. Anyways they arent neanderthalls… neanderthalls are a fairy tale. Any skull they show as neanderthall is actualy a bone skull of a sasquatch and the strange cone head skulls (google paracas skulls) are actually just sasquatch as well . Sasquatches are half ape half man…from beastiality. Its as simple as that.

    Wow, very interesting show. For what its worth, I really like the witness encounters with bigfoot. As far as this other stuff goes, follow the evidence. I really don’t want to her about the women in the woods, aka “mountain monsters”. But, follow the evidence, if we look outside the box, we may or may not find more information to help figure out what we are dealing with. I could care less if they are ever recognized as a species. With that being said, I do not believe every account that I hear, so many people try to out do others with exaggerated encounters. I am very active outdoors, the last place I want to be is located inside four walls, but, I would love to know what these things are. What are we dealing with. I think that they are far more than an animal. No mere animal, prey or predator, has the ability to reason like these creatures do. Mere animals do not “mess” with people, rock throwing, peeping, etc. Wes I really appreciate your effort in exposing the truth. The reason I say exposing is because the government knows what these things are, that is why it is being covered up. Wes, thank you for another great episode.

    Thanks Scott for coming forward and recounting both experiences. I cannot imagine the fear you experienced in both situations. The more encounters I listen to the more I feel maybe we don’t want to know the truth. I get the feeling whomever are the powers that be are protecting us from knowing the truth for our own sanity. This may sound dramatic but I have a suspicion that if the truth ever became public the powers that be may just shut down this reality and start again. It all makes one question what the hell is the purpose of any of our existence.

    One last thing in regard to the trooper showing up at your apartment. I think they knew you spoke with Wes and were actually doing a welfare check. We all think at times the government is up to no good but in your case I believe they had genuine concern. So, I would look at their visit as a positive rather than a negative in my opinion.

    I have news for those self proclaimed experts, Wes and Scott. Almost 20 years ago in the book 50 Years With Bigfoot by Mary Greene as told by the witness Janice Carter Coy, Janice described this getting down and into the x position or spider position and she witnessed them doing this many times. She said it was almost an impossible position for a human to achieve or move very well, and she found it difficult to really explain. Yet she caught so much flak from these so called experts ( and I think she just did not have the emotional stability like Dr. Ketchum to carry on and just left the field ) I can not blame either. However there is so much information in that book I have to re read it. The size alone suggest a male. It makes sense it may have been washing the goat and probably going to skin it right there and they do skin them, and right quick. Something is up with that trooper visiting you Scott, very strange. Possibly a message in a subtle way to just keep quiet. Well that cat is out of the bag now is it not. Thanks for coming on Scott. Fantastic sighting indeed.

    Last night at the 4 30 hour on C2CAM, George re ran an interview with Timothy Renner. I must say it creeped me out pretty good an has me re thinking some of my opinions.

    Wes, keep being you. Once in a rare while a show is not something I want to listen to…once in a great while. So I don’t. Easy Peasy. Way too many good and GREAT shows to over ride that so I don’t worry about it. You hit it out of the park with this show. I turn them on as I am going to sleep and usually have to finish listening the next day. That did NOT happen this time. The whole show was great. Thank you.

    Scott, good grief! I didn’t realize this encounter was so recent. 🙁 You are still trying to absorb the shock. THANK YOU for sharing. Wes is right, it WILL get better with time but you will NEVER forget. Your encounter scared me listening to it, I can’t even imagine being there. *shudder* Take care of yourself Buddy. If you are a praying man you know what to do…I know several of us will be keeping you in our thoughts and prayers as you deal with this. The state trooper is just plain weird, you were right to include it. I am hoping as several people have mentioned that it was a case of this trooper knowing about encounter trauma and was just checking on you. That is my hope, my first thought though was he wanted to see how you were reacting in general after all of this to get a “feel” for what you were likely to do. Very, very strange that he showed up AFTER you talked to Wes. It concerns me. Just be observant and stay safe. I wish there were some way to know that you are alright. The forum? Just a thought….

    I have listened to every show and I seem to remember a guy who said it’s a dirty ape, a monster. “Kill’em all and let God sort it out”. Then there was this wise old Doc that let him know he was being disingenuous. If more than one person mentions it, it may be true. Thank. GOD that fella was open minded enough to listen.     Kudos, Wes. Of all the encounters I’ve experienced through your podcast, yours and Woody’s is one of the most graphic and horrifying. Your conscience, your view of reality, has been forever altered.
    You can’t go home again.
    If anyone has earned the right to determine a personal search for All Truths, it is you.
    You have said time and time again, there is so much you hear off mic that your audience has not heard; you are able to make more logical connections, based on hundreds of witness stories.
    My sense, from what you do not disclose but elude to, is that you may be closer to the reason for government cover up of all things Sasquatch; that your endeavors in seeking the Truths, is that all these anomalies, paranormal, UFO’s, forest lights, Dogmen are connected.
    You can never unsee what you saw, experienced, survived .
    And like so many initial reactions of those who first encounter Sasquatch, the “ it was a HUGE bear!” is a level the majority of us have yet to experience.
    As humans we grab onto what is known to our current level of awareness. We can’t comprehend something beyond that mind history.
    I suspect your view is that there are some things better left in the realm of the unknown ~ Ignorance IS Bliss ~ IMHO.

    Interestingly, I believe this is the exact bridge/place my sister saw something she cannot explain late last summer. She is a traveling RN who was working the overnight shift per her contract in York, PA. She had rented a B&B at a horse farm in a town about forty-five minutes from the hospital. This is the route she drove five nights per week.

    At ten pm one night as she was coming up on that bridge she saw an impossibly large hairy creature cross in front of her car at a high rate of speed. She states it happened so fast she did not even have time to react. She just felt the jolt of adrenaline pumping through her body. It was
    On two legs…..did not look at her as it hurtled past.

        Jon, it was late summer 2019. I drove down to spend a week with her in early September and this event had already happened. She is not sure of the exact date but suspects it was mid August. She reiterated the speed at which all of this happened. She never saw its face, was clear that it was covered in hair not fur. She states the posture was slightly ‘hunched.’

        She is a person who prior to this event, had little to no interest in this subject. She did not renew her contract when it ended. This route late at night was had become a bit creepy for her.

    This is a message to you wes about your intro. Start out by saying the world is a strange place with lots of mysterys. Do you think it is possible that you are constintly being bombarded by these wierd shows and all the paranormal activity for a reason. Could the people who are covering this up be doing this to make sasquatch look like its not flesh and blood to try and cover up the existence of the real flesh and blood creature. They have billions of dollars at stake and dont want sasquatch getting In the way of that. Just remenber anyone of your quests could be planted on the show. Dont get me wrong the world is a weird place and there is lots of things to be discovered. I for one think sasquatch is flesh and blood and possibly there is something that aliens could have a hand in with the wierd stuff.

    What an amazing encounter!!!! Another witness that describes its dropping down like a transformer ???? I’ve watched so many episodes of SC…I seriously wonder if I would pee my pants if I saw one. I think I still might. Not that I’d WANT to, mind you. Holy crap…..what an encounter!!!!!
