SC EP:639 James “Bobo” Fay Part II

James Fay, or Bobo, was born and raised in Manhattan Beach, California, and has been interested in the Bigfoot mystery for as long as he can remember. As a teen, he became an avid surfer, a skill set he would eventually use to investigate reported Bigfoot sightings in remote areas of the country.

While in college, Bobo spent his downtime in the woods attempting to locate a Bigfoot. Following college, he took logging jobs on Native American crews to absorb their knowledge of the Sasquatch legend. In addition, he increased his Bigfoot knowledge by taking jobs building roads and commercially fishing in Northern California.

Bobo says that he saw his first Sasquatch while on an investigation with veteran Bigfoot researcher John Freitas in 2001. Since his initial sighting, Bobo claims to have glimpsed Bigfoots on a few other occasions, but it was this first visual sighting that moved him the most.

That was just fantastic. I enjoyed listening to you and Bobo and I loved hearing the encounters Bobo experienced. Thanks so much Wes and thanks to Bobo as well, I could’ve listened another two hours!
    ??♥️??✌?

Phenomenal interview, I could listen to Bobo and you Wes for hours. If at all possible try and get cliff and Bobo on, I’ll bet they have some terrific stories to tell. It nice to hear how the people in power of their finding Bigfoot program had so much control that they were able to control of the story line of the show. Brings to me the true character of both cliff and Bobo. I come away with a better understanding the pressure they were under. Great show Wes.

…Yet, I don’t agree with Bobo that they bury their dead. IF they did many bones would have been found even if “under boulders”…they still would have been revealed via blasting, earthquakes, excavations, etc. Most likely, based in witness accounts of BF eating bones they eat perhaps them. But who knows.

Tammi C. Janice Carter of 50 years with Bigfoot witnessed their family group burying a still born child. The hole they dug was very deep. For the next several days the Father and Mother laid food on top of the grave like us humans do with flowers. And they also mourned, especially the mother, Sheeba, for days. Their are other encounters I have read and heard where the dead family member was dragged off.

I have met both Cliff and Bobo at conferences and they are down to earth cool guys to meet and talk to. Also it was another great interview with Wes and Bobo. Whether you liked the show or not I have met a ton of people that have told me it made them think about the subject more than they had done before. well that can be good or bad LOL

I agree James, it certainly made me consider it too. And in 2013 (I think it was) when the guy heard a scream across the slough in SETX, then saw the two, I really perked up. It made a big difference.

Super show! Thank you, Wes & Bobo! I could listen to Bobo for hours. He’s got a lot of experience w/ lots of great info. On top of being genuine, he’s got a great sense of humor.

I’ve really enjoyed the two interviews with Bobo. On “Finding Bigfoot,” they always made hin sound like a simpleton and that was one of the reasons I didn’t watch beyond the first couple of seasons. He and Cliff do a nice job on their podcast. It doesn’t hold a candle to Sasquatch Chronicles but I like it so far.

Keep up the good work, Wes.

Editing by an unaffiliated production team in NY to fit what they want. Total disconnect and so wrong. I had no idea, always figured it was knowledgeable people at Animal Planet. I do not remember that Alaskan episode. And I agree Bobo. It is not in their self interest to harm humans, however of course rare cases they do, for the very reasons you stated. I think they probably do bury their dead and dig a deep hole to do so, this according to Janice Carter who witnessed this.

Where I am going with Edna is find same samples all around the country. When you find the same unknown primate Dna showing up in WA, OR, CA, MI, OH, TN, KY and on and on, and it is has to be done scientifically, surely the academia will have to take notice. This whole project would be expensive. Thanks Bobo for pointing out Dr. Meldrum is thinking along these lines, but you need same type from all over the country, most likely. If I had the clout Dr. Meldrum does, I would approach people like Bob Bigelow who owned the Skinwalker Ranch, for funding on a project like this as it will probably take a few million dollars. That Freeman footage is a huge barrel shaped male Sasquatch, of that I am convinced. Paul Freeman made a fake track(s) in order to show the difference between a fake track and a real track. You are correct Bobo and Wes, imo. Interesting about it being a female and why, you may be right Bobo. I always thought it would just be a huge male in older age that has eaten well, and is not as active anymore. What a freaking shame it did not record, you may never have this kind of interaction again. Eleven footer, my gosh.

Good conversation. My questions to him for part 3 interview would be what was captured on the tape that was stolen? How could he leave that out? If it was as good as The Patty film he probably would have described it and how awesome it was, so that makes me wonder if he forgot to hit record button and it was actually just a B grade gonzo vid he meant to record over because he spent too much money on a disposable box camera (the blob squatch industry standard, what Fozzy Bear uses when he’s out squatching) to be able to afford a new blank vid tape to record. Was the stoned chic in the backseat actually just himself ? Like Wes sais many times certain details get left out that do not tell the whole picture. Of course this is all assumption. Then again I could be right. All in all he’s a very nice person and his heart is in the right place. If Finding Bigfoot was Scooby Doo he’d be shaggy and Scooby all in one.
My favorite episode was when he was on a deck with a flir and had this Big squatch dialed in but darn he tripped and fell and you can hear the Squatch start to laugh at him. You’d think Matt Moneymaker would have blown his money gasket over that one like The Skipper always did to Gilligan. I’ll have to check out their podcast.

Thanks for another great show, Wes! I don’t have a t.v. but I hear you guys talking about Finding Bigfoot all the time. Wes, you took the words right out of my mouth, this guest, Bobo, is super down to earth which is so appreciated! Too many people have the big head! I think it was in that Bigfoot book called “Enoch” where the witness saw the bigfoot dig a hole, pull up a tree & roots, and then plant the tree over the hole in which they had buried the body of their dead relative. That would explain why no body and no bones are found because trees live a very long time.

Great show 🙂 I had a thought that maybe someone has said before (may have already been done before too…) but instead of shooting to kill, why not tranquilize, remove, study then release? I realize how difficult that would be but when they do attempt to retrieve the first one, tranquilize the rest of them and transport them all? Ok, so it would take combined efforts several SForces teams lol

Thanks Wess and yes, plants and humans share the same DNA. Humans and bacteria do, as well. A gene in one species might serve a different purpose in another species.

  12. Lesley V

Great show with Bobo…..really enjoyed his 2nd show as much as the first! He would be great to have on every few weeks. Now you need to invite Cliff to come on.

  13. Dean C

Strange James mentioned that girl saying you can talk to UFO’s through meditation….that’s what Dr Steven Greer states, that himself and his teams? Followers? Have made contact regularly through group meditation, with UFO’s appearing on demand as such…..states they have documented video evidence etc……

I too have heard this. I like Bobo was a avid listener to Art Bell starting in the early 90s. Art gave an avenue for people to step forward with their encounters and theories. Now some I think were really wacked out, who knows, but many over the years have been witnessed again and again.

  14. Jessica C

Another superb interview Wes! I could listen to you & Bobo talk literally for hours! Thank You for having him back! (Part 3 would be fabulous!) Be safe & well Everyone! ?

  15. Jason S

Hey Wes. I have an interesting observation from listening to encounters: I have heard that some ppl have heard them breath and say it sounds “wet “ and that the squatch sounds to have difficulty breathing. This interview the “barrel chest” is mentioned.

People who suffer from COPD struggle to breath and use their diaphragm in a way that would make them “shrug” their shoulders as they breath. This leads to a barrel chest that appears more 2:2 instead of the anatomical 2:1.

I just wonder if there is a genetic trait in some.(?) of course this is all speculation of a “mystical” beast that we don’t have in our garage, but it’s food for thought. Thanks Wes. You’re awesome.

  16. Charles R

What fantastic UFO encounters Bobo had back in the late 80s, early 90s and to see the military scramble to disperse them must be some game or training exercise for their pilots. I wish more of these pilots would come out to talk about this. There is some connection between the Sasquatch and UFOs. I think in it’s simple form is abduction same as with humans. I think the cattle mutaltions where blood is taken as well as sexual organs is related. Also the crop circles with their geometric messages that we can not decipher. I think a great guest would be Linda Moulten Howe who has studied ( and hundreds of interviews with those affected ) this for 50 years.
What a fantastic interview with Bobo, gosh I so enjoyed this.

Wow, what a great show, Bobo is a wealth of information, and to be able to listen to the show and for a little while just forget about the terror of this virus that has the whole world turned upside down, it’s a blessing, Wes your awesome, you already got me thru one of the worst times of my life when I was recovering from a bad accident, and he you are again giving us all some relief from the horror going on all around us, from the bottom of my heart I want to thank you, don’t ever discount what you are doing, we love you for it

  19. Glen M

Great show Wes and Bobo! … …anybody ever wonder how someone like say Bruce Lee or someone well trained in martial arts would do if challenged by and forced to defend themselves against a sasquatch… …just wondering if anyone else has had those thoughts…
