SC EP:23 Running from Bigfoot

Doug Retzer joins the show tonight to share his encounters with Sasquatch. As a young man hunting he saw a Sasquatch for the first time through his rifle scope, many years later he had an encounter with one while fishing and ran for his life. Join us Sunday at 5pm PST.

Wes and Will. I really love this site. I love the podcast. But Doug, if your disabled, why can you bigfoot? If your disabled on your dime then ignore the question. But if your receiving any aid for your disability how can you go tracking through the woods? I thought your encounters were intriguing and I think your being truthful but how are you disabled and able to look for such an incredible creature? Sorry I know this isn’t a political site. Just gets a little frustrating.

I was right there with Doug rooting for him the whole way, however once he had a mysterious conversion into the great no fear nighttime Bigfoot tracker my B.S. metter pegged out.

I do agree that someone is going to have to bring in a body to a university biology department for a thorough dissection that is widely publicized and documented before the general public will believe. Then and only then will there be any real protection put into place. Which could be devastating to those who hunt or just enjoy a hike through the woods. The BLM will have its excuse to take over all forested lands and deny any entry other then highly regulated paved walking trails.

It bothers me when a self identified quote “researcher” wants either laws protecting these monsters, or thinks we can keep them in an area where they will quote “be safe”..
Who’s going to protect us from them when they start terrorizing families and tormenting people as has been the case in countless encounters with them. It’s never going to end well for either them it us when their existence is finally recognised, and politics and money take over…

I Hate to say this but I’m GLAD you’re doing the podcast By yourself.. Your new shows have a much better flow to them only having One Host.. nothing to do with the other host But I just like you hosting the show by yourself! By the way that was a fascinating encounter scary as hell! Thanks Wes good job

Weird the way it ended, idk if it was cut off because will goes into his stories like usual or what but…if it was just more of will upping all of his guests with all these encounter stories, then im fine with it. Just weird how it cut off at like 41 minutes

We don’t know the past experiences of these creatures. They may have been shot, shot at, or even witnessed the death of a loved one. So, it’s not far fetched that one might attack a hunter unprovoked.
