SC EP:202 Is that a gorilla?!

I will be welcoming two guests on. My first guest is from Washington state. When he was a child he got on his bike along with other neighborhood kids and started riding to a friends house. His friend had called him and said that “the bear is back and looking in the windows.” The boys wanted to see this bear and as they were riding up the road they came across this “bear.” He said this man-like creature ran across the road in front of them and retreated into the wood line. The boys were unsure what it was but it was heading towards their fort in the woods so the boys got off their bikes and gave chase. My guest was one of the oldest boys and said that he caught up with this thing and it turned to look back at him and that is when he realized it was not a man or bear. He had no idea what he was looking at, he started screaming at the other boys to turn around and go back…..

My second guest writes “I saw Bigfoot along with my friend and two daughters on our way to Georgia from Arizona. It was around 2:00 a.m. coming around a curvy mountainous road in Tennessee.

We were only traveling about 20 mph around a sharp upgraded curve and boom, here stepping over a guardrail was a least 7 1/2 foot tall blackish greyish huge long armed hairy thing carrying a black trash bag which probably came from a campsite or something.

His arms hung low to his knees, he stopped like a deer caught in our bright headlights, he was as tall if not taller than our Chevy van. He stared straight at us and we were looking at him. We were only like 25 feet from him. Saw him clear as day. My oldest daughter came to the front of the van after she heard me and my friend freaking out and said Mom, is that a gorilla?!

He stood there at least 35 40 seconds before he proceeds to cross the road, stepped over the other guardrail and headed down in the woods. I had a camera and a video camera within reach but we were in such shock I didn’t even think to pick them up and use them. All I know is I stared at this thing long enough to know what I and my family saw. I will never forget it. I kick myself in the ass all the time for not clicking a picture. The car that came up behind us as we were stopped, well, I’m sure they saw it too.”

Thanks for the show Wes. You sure saved the show with some great interview skills. It was like pulling teeth getting much information from the second guest. He seemed kind of shy or almost embarrassed about his encounter but you brought out a few good stories. I’m hungry for some good ole Texas size “Bob” stories. He is definitely my favorite. It’s not just the stories themselves which are really interesting but he is able to put the listener right there not just hearing but “seeing” the story as well. Thank you again for pulling off another great show.

Also a shoutout to Craig in England. Hello from Palmer, Alaska!!!!

Such brave kids! I can see them being indignant about anyone messin’ with their forth though. I remember ours was off limits… lol
I really enjoyed the first one too. What a great description! And to get to just watch it for a bit, no being terrified of sounds, or anything. The kids immediately saying “Is that a gorilla?” tells a lot too. We see what we are familiar with that comes close, I guess. Great show Wes. Loving your work.

Hey, thanks for listening. Yes, that was the first words out of my daughters mouth when she saw it for like a few seconds, mom!!!! Is that a gorilla??? With such excitement in her voice that there’s a gorilla running wild in the Tennessee mountains lol. It was an awesome encounter and one we’ll never forget. As a family to witness something like this. It was a scary feeling too. But thank god he didn’t attack us or nothing

I’ve hear many Sasquatch stories from Vashon, if I’d have known what a hot spot Washington State was when I was a kid…. I would have stayed in the house
Thank you Pepper and Brad AND Wes 🙂

The kids charging down the trail to save their fort from an intruder reminded me of something right out of Goonies–bloody awesome! Gotta love kids and their fearlessness!!!

Great show!!!! I’m addicted. Been searching through all podcasts and websites on the internet, enjoy most of them but SC still stands out . With the accounts piling up got to believe certified proof is just a matter of time. Especially with the Go Pro and drone cameras coming into wider use, a kid with a Go Pro or a front mounted camera on the van and it would have made for some interesting video. While they seem to avoid trail cams something that appears out of no where seems more likely . I wonder if tech like the the tracking tiles LOL a “I lost my Bigfoot ” tile could be modified to be attached unnoticed to a individual some how? Seems like in some areas ” Big Thicket” for example a few could be mounted high up enough where they could possibly get attached to an unaware creature. LOL just a what if thought wondered about these late night’ s listening to SC.

Man! This sounds like one of the longest looks I’ve heard of here. I’d love for her to get a professional sketch done especially with attention to the face and post it for us to see. One of my favourites for sure !

Thank you. I have someone that has contacted me for this, I’m not much of an artist but I’m sure I could get close, but Adelle cook which is a great sketch artist with a police dept is God ng to do one soon. I suffered a mild stroke last wed and I’m rehabbing twice a week now but I’ll get there soon I hope. Thanks for listening. It was the most shocking experience ever but at least I got to share it with my daughters and friend

Hey Wes this lady had her encounter in the same national forest I investigste in and the road she was on if you turn off it at a certain place is where I got the report of the one drinking out of the stream. Great account now I can’t wait to get back out there again

Serious, I want to go back too. This area is perfect for a family of bigfoots. Yes, the mountains in Tennessee hold many secrets and mysteries. What highway do you travel up there?

Hey, I want to thank everybody that joined in with us. I get so hyped every time I talk about and it just brings back all those sensations that went shooting through my brain and body. Its exhilarating to know I, we, saw what we saw. What a true gift to witness such an incredible legend of a beast and for as long as I did. I fee so fortunate and blessed all at the same time for this experience.
