SC EP:1194 The Journey

John writes “I was present when the East Central Ohio Bigfoot Chatter was recorded. I am willing to discuss my experiences publicly with some level of discretion.”

Spoke to John and he agreed to come on the show. John is a working professional, highly educated and comfortable in his routines: commuting, meetings and deadlines. As a child, an incident in the dense woods near a cabin still haunted him.

Many years later John listened to a recording on TV of what he heard as a child, remembering that event shattered his worldview. Questions flooded his mind: Was the noise he heard in his youth the elusive creature? Tonight John shares experiences spanning over decades.

if I’m not mistaken, it was Small Town Monsters that did a documentary on their YouTube channel that included Bigfoot sightings around Gretchen’s lock pretty recently. it was within the last 6 months that that doc came out.

Wow Wes, amazing episode! John’s ability to describe everything with such detail was really cool. It really helps to form the imagery. Would love to have him on for another show!

The water at Blue Pool is frigid cold water. Beautiful area. My dad lived up in McKenzie years ago.
I’ve heard that siren sound by where I live here in Oregon. I would hear someone shooting at night or something that sounded like someone shooting. After the national guard came through I didn’t hear it anymore.

This guy goes hunting for Bigfoot and every time he comes across one, he runs away. I don’t understand what he’s doing. Also, the guy is specifically hunting for Bigfoot. He comes across like ten of them and never has any equipment to record anything. Where’s a picture of the torn in half deer? Something is off with this guy.

Andrew, I have made that observation as well. Must be amusing to Sasquatch? We stalk them but run off out of contrived fear if/when Sasquatch is close by. To the extent some shoot at it. They seek it and run in fear when observed and then broadcast Sasquatch was hunting them like they are tough, brave, and ā€œcoolā€. If you don’t like the heat stay out of the kitchen.sort of thing. And have the camera ready, right, and maybe some apples.

That howl is definitely a wolf or something. You can tell by the short lung capacity. If that were a big foot that howl would’ve went on for three or four the amount of time.

Good episode. However, the Alien question, visitation as well as Earth/ Moon or other Galaxy based is somewhat of a known. It is just at the “admit it”… digestion phase. It is far more accepted than the Bigfoot/Sasquatch question. That being said…* believe they are and many other things are actually REAL. The Wake Up Call is coming.

Just curious John when on the phone with Matt, could it have been Don Keating on the other end, who was the go to person in Ohio at that time. Also it could have been a BFRO member that took investigation reports in NE Ohio.

Jessica is correct. Pine sap is an age old remedy for internal ailments especially when warmed and placed on the chest or infected area. Some cultures use cupping which involves heating and pulling out infection. Let’s imagine that could be the purpose and Sasquatch is knowledgeable of that- the implication of a ball of it being found inside the friend’s tent is absolutely mind blowing in the sense that the creature acknowledges the child’s ailment and actually was thoughtful enough to get some pine sap (they do not carry medicine bags, right) roll it into the ball described and thoughtfully take it to the tent, putting it inside so its convenient and obvious. That is an action indicating ā€œcaring for another speciesā€ That action is much higher on the intelligence.awareness level than using a tool. The belly ache the child was experiencing showed that Sasquatch is acknowledging a problem, having empathy for the child, seeking a solution, and providing it voluntarily. This is thought provoking! There are stories of similar actions by Sasquatch. Personally I believe they are greatly misunderstood- our limited perspective trips us up and prevents a real genuine exploration of this creature. Remember too that ā€œfearā€ is relative. That’s another topic but one that hinders understanding. As the late Dr. Jane Goodall said its important to keep an open mind-
Thank you so much for sharing. I will listen to this and other episodes more than once.

Yes. A 19.5 inch track is getting close to the 10 foot height in most cases. Lots of close encounters up there is NE Ohio and Oregon. Glad John got to fully see one. Pretty neat to hear John’s journey of a educated non believer into a full blown knower. Also a keen observance of possible connection to Autraliopithiceous. Much like what Dr. Meldrum has proposed (RIP).
