SC EP:1095 Police Officer And The Hairy Man

Karl writes “Wes. I listened to the show #847. The subject was Matt in CT. I am from Sandy Hook CT. Part of Newtown. From Matt’s description of the area he and his father saw the Bigfoot, I’m guessing it’s Bridgewater, in Litchfield County along the Housatonic River . I live about 20 minutes from there and back in 1976 when I was 14.

I’m 62 now and a former Newtown Police Officer and Retired State of CT Corrections Officer, I had an encounter with a Bigfoot on the RR tracks on the Monroe – Newtown Town line. I reported this sighting to the BFRO website Report #77112. I also have had a few interesting vocal. And footprints sightings and 2x my middle daughter said she saw a Hairy Man on the side of the yard staring at her at my in-laws house 2 miles away from my sighting.”

Brandon T – any suggestions where we can contribute to help people in your area? I fear we mere American mortals are on our own at this point. If you have any suggestions that would be great. ❤️

Brandon and Ed, I’m so sorry this happened to you and all our fellow Americans in so many areas. Love and prayers for all of you that are affected. Hoping you get food, water, and supplies that so many desperately need! 🙏🏻

The rocks always intrigues me. Especially the rock throwing that occurs around no cover, almost like they appeared out of thin air. I have a friend that was bird hurting in a field, no trees or cover within 450 yards and had 2 rocks hit him in the chest. One was about 1/2” diameter and the other was a little smaller than a golf ball.

Brandon and Ed: My heart goes out to you. I now live in NW GA because of Hurricane Irma in 2017. I lived in the FL Keys and it changed our lives forever. There are so many emotions you’ll go through. there will come a time when “tourists” will show up just to see the damage. it will hurt, but, most importantly, the way your communities will come together will give you strength to keep going. so many people from all over the country will help in so many unexpected ways. clothes, bedding, cleaning supplies, things you didn’t even realize you need will just show up. My heart is with you and I’m praying for all of you.

Thanks Carl for your great experiences while looking back. I think a lot of us, when we come to our terms with Bigfoot, can look back at strange experiences in life that had left an impression, can think jeeper that could or probably was one doing this. I remember driving out to Newtown CT in the early 2000s on business and was taken back by so much forest and the quaint and well kept towns. Then I followed the Housatonic River down to the I-95, just for the scenery. Absoultely beautiful. Very easy for a Bigfoot(s) to get imbedded in this area for a while and of course the RR tracks, piplines and river/creeks are their corridors. Thanks for your police service and as to all the UFO reports in your area, may well have been from them monitoring the Yankee Connecticut Nuclear Power Plant that was in operation at that time, but now out of commission.

Carl, I used to run the trails at the Steep Rock Preserve in Washington Depot. The Shepaug runs right through there. An abandoned rail line runs alongside the river. I’d be all by myself out there, and it wasn’t uncommon for the woods to go completely silent and have a feeling that I was being watched. This was about thirty years ago.

Karl seems honest to me, thanks Karl!
Sometimes when people have a strange encounter they never quite shake it and it haunts them. Without being able to study something while it seemingly studies us at its own convenience leaves the door open for our imagination to add in other unusual sights or sounds experienced as evidence, and that’s where it gets tricky.
The “growl yip” he heard could’ve been something unusual, or it could’ve been the nearby farm tightening some loose rusty bolts with an impact tool or even the sound of an air compressor rumbling and the sound of the valve closing in a big air tank when it shuts off.

Could the impressions be from where a bale of hay sat for a while? You just have to consider all possibilities and have a good understanding of the reality you can know about before concluding it is part of the reality that is less experienced and one which prefers to remain hidden or only shows you what it wants you to experience.

For example: I personally don’t recall any credible accounts where someone has personally witnessed a Sasquatch clacking rocks, building or making a tree structure, snapping a tree, killing an animal, making any sound or making even a single track and then subsequently the witness immediately and directly being able to obtain evidence during or directly after the sighting (other than the Patty film, where you see something make a track and then that same track is cast). That seems odd to me that a sighting and evidence almost never go hand in hand… If it were something like an ape or fully physical you’d be able to say “I saw it eating these leaves and breaking this branch, look, it was right here, here’s the proof”. Think about that for a minute.
