I watched a couple of this guys videos on YouTube the other day. For me, the jury is still out; I’ll have to watch some more of his videos to get a gut feel for what he is presenting. I don’t like to make rash judgements, so we shall see.

Either way, you cannot tell much from the way the poster filmed the prints. There are no shots from different angles nor any overhead shots. Also, there is nothing to use for verifiable scale.

Those are some huge tracks. Especially for that area (skunk apes are typically a bit smaller than the northwestern Bigfoot variety) but they look good, but why only 4 tracks? That field seemed to go on a ways and the soil still looked soft enough for tracks to be left, especially with a creature that size. An 18 in track is enormous but this thing is bordering on mountain giant proportions. I’m skeptical and that’s where I will leave it.

4-toed tracks are Mountain Giant tracks, but I have trouble believing the length claimed for these tracks. If they were measured (and they would have to have been to get a length) why not film one with the tape measure next to it? I have found 19 & 20″ tracks, and they look bigger than these appear to be, unless the guy filming them is 8 feet tall!

I have to agree with you Duke. I’m pretty good at visual measurements as I do contracting work. Those prints in my eyes are a far cry from 24″…I’m thinking more in the 16″-18″ range. Not trying to bash this poster but just want to be open, honest, and realistic about the subject. Personally I would have went to the nearest hardware store and got me a bucket and some plaster.

I don’t believe that the person presenting this is a hoaxer but it’s extremely hard to see if they are 24″ for a couple reasons, one is that there is no real measurement like with a dollar bill/credit card which almost every one has in their possession and second seems to be only one angle in seeing the prints. Also noted is that there is a really short distance between each footprint for a creature with a 24″ size foot you might expect a range of 6′ on up. We have seen 5-6′ strides with footprints in the 18-19″ range consistently. We should always be thankful to anyone that shares their findings. They can always be used as in educating all of us that need it, for that we should be greatful, so thanks again for sharing your post!
