A listener writes “Me and my buddies were riding the dirt roads around grigsby ford access to ouachita river in Malvern Arkansas.

We stopped around 3AM decided to pull off road and start a fire. We’ve been out here camping before nothing every out of the ordinary.  About 15 minutes before Sun started rising I heard some deer high tail it thru the woods.

Then I heard something big coming thru following them. I heard it way before everyone else.  It only took about 10 seconds of this thing following same trail as deer everyone else noticed it as well. You could hear this thing coming.  Never in my life have I heard something this big moving thru the woods.  I’m 200 pounds, I jumped off top of my cab of my dodge dakota to make a point that I can’t make the noise that this thing is making and that we need to just be quiet and let it pass.   It sounded like an elephant it was heavy whatever it was.

You could almost feel this thing out there walking. It was traveling east to west in front of us. Something tipped it off that we were over there and it was no longer traveling west but started coming straight in our direction.  At that time I got in my truck and started honking horn, making loud noises, this happened around July because I had bottle rockets in truck. Shot some of those in its direction to maybe get it to retreat.

Highest ground I had was top of truck so I got back on top of the cab.   The heavy footsteps stopped and you could tell it was in creep mode. Silent footsteps or trying to be at least but I mean You could tell this thing was about to just pop out of wood line. Wish it would have that way I would have got some visual confirmation.

No movement for about 30 seconds then I heard something breathing in and out heavy for about 15 seconds and never heard anything after that it just vanished.  Don’t know what it was but it was a beast out there that day.  About 20 minutes past and all we had was a tire iron and the last hot branch from fire for protection. Went into tree line to look for tracks but got creeped out and left. I would like think it’s bigfoot related but I just don’t know”
