Take it as a badge of honor. They are just messing with you because they may like you. To them it is a game. Believe me, they have been watching you long before they began slapping the house. My advice is to get creative some how and figure a way to film them at night. They will not hurt you on your own property.

That is the DUMBEST post I have EVER heard!!!!!! Do you think these creatures give a hack who owns the property. Do you think they know what a property line is. A badge of honor. WHHHAAATTT???? There is honor among squatch. You are one messed up dude if you believe what you just posted. Your mind needs a bath.

I am not the one messed up lady. I have a friend down in Texas that has had ongoing habitutation for 4 years. Wes interviewed him last year. He has played games on them and they on him, but he always repects them. To date no one hurt.

Place game cameras inside objects you can put out on the deck or porch like planters. Be stealthy in the way you conceal them. If your handy, you can mount the camera and put a plant in it. Just be sure not to cover the lense etc. Cameras are rain proof so just water the plant naturally. Also take the plant inside to access the camera. Don’t let them see you do it. Get creative and you will see some results I would think.

Get out there and talk to them, tell them how you feel about their visits, be persistent, and be consistent, speak to them as your equal don’t try to deceive them and eventually they will come to trust you.

I agree, but definitely do so with good judgement and protective measures. Listen to your “gut instinct”, exercising common sense in a practical manner. We need to treat them like any other wild animal, with caution yet respect. They are not all the killing machines some believe. Unfortunately, that has become our duty…

Jerry W – I live in the NEK in VT. We are not that far from the White Mountain Range of NH. I’ve not had an encounter myself up here, but live in the nearby area that Dax Rushlow had his encounters. Many, many years ago I believe my then husband (who was a teenager at the time) had an encounter on the road late at night hitch hiking from VT to NY, which wouldn’t have been too far from Whitehall, NY (as the crow flies). Back then we were kids and had no idea what a BF was, so that wasn’t even on our radar as he told his tale of what he encountered and we tried to figure out just what it was that night. I believe these creatures live everywhere, maybe not a dense population in some areas, but I believe they are out there, if you know the signs you could find them. Back nearly 20 yrs ago I lived in a different area about an hour from where I live now and we were hearing something very strange out in the woods every night for about 2 weeks. It was an awful scream like a woman being tortured off in the distance and then it would get closer and closer and then move off in the distance again. One night it sounded like it was outside our bedroom window (window was open). Across the road was a transfer station for rubbish, but it was way out in the back (I lived in a wooded area). I don’t know what we were hearing, all I know is it made the hair on my neck stand up and really creeped us out. My husband used to leave about 2 or 3 in the a.m. for work and that is about the time we would hear the screams. He went out with his rifle one night because it sounded so close, but then it stopped. Bigfoot never crossed my mind or would have back then, but I have to wonder now that I’ve heard the stories here on SC. We only heard it that one year for that 2 week period of time, though there have been reports on the BFRO (not many) from that surrounding area. I also remember during this time of letting the 2 labs out that we had and as they started to go down the steps a loud scream came from behind our shed and the one dog Sam stopped at the bottom of the steps and relieved himself and ran back up, didn’t want to go any further. The other dog didn’t go too far, did her business and came straight back. I knew whatever had made that noise scared Sam, but he was usually the dog that bolted after everything (even a horse and rider coming down the road). I think people have experiences with these things and don’t even realize it most of the time.

Oh man ignore the fear mongers and read a few accounts from people who have long term relationships with Sasquatches on their property and all of them describe the house slap as a hello and not any kind of imminent threat of danger. These things aren’t mindless killing machines. Just review the personal accounts without bias and ignore fear-driven wanna-be killers trying to panic you based on zero personal experience and apparently little interest in researching other people’s experiences in similar situations as you apparently have going on. Hell just watch how they are now about to spazz at me for daring to suggest you might not be at death’s door dragged their be a mindless killing machine/dumb but sneaky brute. Personally that kind of reaction embarasses me on their behalf.

OMG people up here have no common sense and post the most ridiculous shit in the world… bottom line buddy, put up motion flood lights on every corner of your house, and hit your car alarm whenever they start harassing you by slapping your house.. stay armed and keep your children inside.. these animals are massive fucking monsters that can kill you, and shouldn’t be thought of any other way, to think any other way will get your ass killed

Get some roast chicken and Arsenic – Combine, and leave hanging poisoned food around your property at higher than reach of raccoons, etc. Then sit back, have a cold one and enjoy the peace.

Also set up a few cameras – They totally disappear if camera is around. Huh.

As long as you don’t have neighbors that trespass, you can set up trip Booby traps to take pictures and gather DNA.

Like Wes always says,..”treat them like you would a grizzly bear”. Respect that they are wild and unpredictable. There are different temperaments and personalities out there. Use common sense and your own best judgment. BTW not from my own experience but from listening and reading other’s, I would refrain from feeding them. Wild animals need to depend on themselves to find food, not depend on humans for handouts. Good luck and be safe.
