I have seen over the past year that Matt has again taken a big interest in his own website. I do not know if he is the one directing investigators to dismiss human type claims and insist they are just an ape and look like an ape or if this is an individual investigators prerogative. I do know I have met some BFRO investigators in the past that were open to what a witness describes. I also know they only investigate at best 10 percent of what they receive. This past weekend the BFRO published a report that happened south of Columbus, OH in an area I have been through, though usually on a motorcycle and of course it peeked my interest. Matt is the one who talked to the witnesses who watched as the subject ran full speed and got within 3 feet of their window. There is so much information that should have been gathered, but if it was, it was not presented. Things like how fast was it running, what was the body build, what did the face look like, etc – all things that a great investigator or interviewer like WES would have asked. I myself would never call the BFRO on any future encounters, as this is not the first time, this has come to my attention.

I really appreciate this guy’s candor. Like Wes, but with a different format, he seeks the truth. The truth is often unbelievable, difficult to hear, and bothersome. However, as many a great orator has said, “it shall set you free”. I don’t condone the BFRO. We just need to recognize that that organization is NOT the best, or even 2nd best, when it comes to unburdening ones self of these encounter. I hope this guy, I think his name is Tim, keeps plugging away. He’s doing a great unselfish service, as does our Wes, for mankind.

(New Jersey) I like Steve’s videos as well. He tells it like it is, and has NO patience for those naysayers who would put down and disparage those who have had Sasquatch Encounters . However, I find it strange that he would choose the BFRO to deliver such harsh criticism!!?? Just because one man had a bad experience with a member of this organization makes No sense! I don’t doubt others have had bad communications as well. Nevertheless, you are talking about a group- like Wes and SC- that has been a groundbreaking organization with regards to the whole Sasquatch subject. They have taken and catalogued literally thousands upon thousands of reports. Their work, including arranging expeditions and conducting investigations, has done more good for the Bigfoot community than perhaps any other. Let’s not allow a few bad interactions to counter all the great work they do.

I suspect that the vast majority of BFRO members have good intentions, though for a while now, I have been suspicious about the true purpose of the organization and I put more trust in Steve’s instincts which are in line with my own.

(New Jersey) David, you say ” you have been suspicious about the true purpose of the organization. (BRFO) . From my perspective, the “true purpose” is crystal clear. Among other things, the BFRO catalogues and investigates tens of thousands of encounters, and posts them on their site by State, for All to see. They also hold expeditions across the country, for those that want to participate. In short, they have been investigating this subject, and like all of us, searching for the truth concerning this incredible yet maddening subject. Is every member a Mr or Ms. personality? no, but that’s true of any organization! Would you be kind enough to tell me what you feel their ‘True” purpose is? Thanks

Not sure why, but there is something very threatening to these guys about the “BF is a primate” vs “BF is (some sort of) human”.

People wax on about the logging industry or national parks, it would be a different game if these were a type of people or scarier a type of people with abilities/connections to higher intelligence.

If I had to put money on it, I think Moneymaker and his boys were approached by the powers that be who said something like, “we get it, you started out trying to get to the bottom of this, collect a lot of data, but you are getting in our lane. (Covering it up). Get out or we’ll get you out.” BFRO decides to redirect the narrative, start a show that never intends to find BF and viola.

Not everyone has Wes’ brass nuts!

Steve is pursuing a course to find answers to the coverup, which makes sense compared to searching for more evidence which has always proved to be insufficient to the science community and to society as a whole, especially when you consider that proof is supressed from disclosure.

I really liked Steve. I still do to an extent. But to go all “You have to believe this guy, that guy and the rest of my list and anyone not on it doesn’t count.” Just doesn’t sit well.

It’s like he’s saying “since those other guys are telling you you can only believe this, that, and these people or you’re wrong, then you have to believe me or you’re wrong.”
