Thanks Wes, like you and your bro, my dad passed on, he was a Civil War historian / by hobby, and a very patriotic man / Veteran and he hung on until the day after his very last Independence Day celebration, hiding with me and the dog under the couch with his stereo blasting CCR’s – Green River. The next day he was gone. Now I have this little boy I call my rescue pup. And he and my Wife together both made me a carrot cake from scratch, just like they both make our Pizzas, from scratch, with thin sliced Pseudo ham, pineapple chunks, and fine cheeses. Who would have ever figured that at age 18 months, this little guy would be a wonderful Chief?

    – Embrace your family dearly Wes, and that includes your dear brother. Happy Fathers day to all the fathers, and dad’a and grand fathers.

Papa – Yeti, your message made me cry. I’m sorry your father is gone, but glad you have the little “rescue pup”. My dad was a wonderful, kind man, who I lost 3 years ago. He was 86 and a WW II vet who landed on Utah beach. He was awarded 2 bronze stars. One of the last things he said before he died was “war is a TERRIBLE thing”. Lovely photo above. Wishing every father a wonderful day today.

It all good, Jan, life is good. I knew it was a wonderful Father’s day when I awoke in the early evening from a very needed nap upon the couch, and there was my baby boys toy trucks right next to me, the little guy sees me napping and he comes over gifting, he piles his favorite prized toy truck,, and his favorite bed time story book by me. This time he was laying on me back sleeping like I am his best friend and I am. His very own big footed Papa – Yeti
