Tonight I will be speaking with Jason and Brian. Jason writes ” “In 1984 or 1985 my mother and her 3rd husband moved us from west TN to east TN on the outside of Cookville. My younger brother and I we lived about 5 miles from where we went to school.. There was absolutely no one to play with other than ourselves.

We lived in a super old farm house, the landlord lived on the same property about 50 yards from us. Other than that there wasn’t any more house around. We would play in the field behind their house there was a stonewall we use to play army around.. We were not allowed to go off into the wood to play the landlord thought we would come upon a moonshine still and yes that was a real big problem then. We was out playing by the stonewall one evening when I saw what I thought was a mountain man /moonshiner watching me. I yelled out we are not going anywhere near the woods leave us alone. The landlord yelled run boys run so we took off running the house. I told the landlord we was not going anywhere near the woods so why did we get in trouble.. he told us that we better watch out for them boogers. That we should just take our butts in the house.

I had no idea what he was talking about, thought he was just making fun of me bc i kept snotty and sinus infection when I was little because my stepdad smoked in the house…. I remember when my mom and step dad came home that night I had told her about the landlord yelling at us telling us to go home, so she said she was going to talk with him to find out what was going on. She came back minutes later and got my stepdad and they both went back to the landlord house. Then about minutes later they returned back to the house. You would have thought we really done something wrong. We were not allowed to go out and play anymore after school, until my mother or stepdad was there to watch us.

I remember thinking that sucked because they wouldn’t arrived at home until 630/7 pm and we would get off the bus 330. After about a week of us not being able to go outside. The weekend finally got there and we had a bonfire in the backyard roasted hotdogs and marshmallows.. when we got done we came in and took our baths while in the bath something hit the side of house power went out and my stepdad went to landlord and ran back to the house I remember him coming back into the house pale as ghost. He told us all to get in the living room while he is shutting the blinds and making sure the doors are locked tight. him and my mom had a long talk and then later on that week my stepdad went to take the trash out. I heard him scream and he was running back in the door that was on a Thursday night and that following Sunday my dad and grand dad showed up and we packed up the car and truck back to west Tennessee we came. Step dad tried playing it off and saying it was a bear.. It was wasn’t until years later I found out what a booger was. Ever since then I have been fascinated with the whole subject.

Finding bigfoot came out and I have watched every episode 5 or 6 times. Fast forward 30 years later, My ex-wife and I bought a pontoon boat and a camper. We started going to Kentucky lake part of the LBL system 2010-2012 we would go to LBL every weekend and camp and go out on the boat. We were out first Saturday and decided to anchor and grill out. We were about 30 yards past the welcome to Kentucky sign in the TN river…. We heard something come running down the hill.. Sounded like 2 elephants being chased down the hill. My son and i were on the bow of the boat trying to look into the woods to see what made that noise. Never saw anything, later that afternoon we were headed back towards Paris landing and I could tell by the look on my dogs face he had to go number 2.

So we found a spot were there was small rocks that i was not worried about hurting the pontoon, so we pulled in there most of the shore line up there is big rocks.. The dogs got off and done their thing and we got off was walking around to make sure there wasn’t any snakes. My son grabbed a large stick and threw it trying to get the dogs to play with him. The stick went into the water so he grabbed another hit it on the tree to break in in half and almost instantly got a return knock. That’s when I realized there was a bigfoot in the area, I turned and looked at my ex-wife told her that was a bigfoot, she looked at me laughed wanted to know if I was high or been drinking of course not that was her opportunity to be a smart butt of course the answer was no. She accused me and my son of having bigfoot on the brain, so we loaded up the dogs and went on our way…. 1 year later we back at buchanan’s camp ground, we left the harbor and if you turned left it you go towards Kentucky and if you turned right you go towards Budweiser beach.

We went towards Budweiser beach got about 2 and half miles down river almost parallel with girlscout camp then she looo we found a cove to anchor out at so we could swim, grill, and do some fishing. The cove we found was awesome, it was like a cove tucked inside of another cove. It had pea gravel beaches and everything else was large rocks. That was our go to spot for the rest of the summer. We made friends and decided to have a boat so we all went to our spot, everyone anchored up grilled out swam and had a good time. Me, my son and ex-wife were on the beach playing with the dogs, we could hear something walking towards us thru the woods, it seemed to have its footsteps pattern with the waves. She turned and asked did i hear that, I said hear what then a few minutes later I heard it. By the time I figured out what was going on both of my dobbermans were on high alert.. I turned looked at my son and told him to get everything on the boat. No sooner than I said that a wave of absolute fear for our lives ran across all 3 of us.

My son starts crying, and my male dobberman starts going nuts barking showing his teeth which is way out of character for this dog, My male turned and looked at my female growled and barked at her she instantly started herding my son towards the boat.. My exwife was helping my son get onto the boat, my male kept looking back and fourth towards my son and ex-wife and then the woods… My son stood up and started screaming daddy what the hell is that which I did not allow my 11year old to cuss but my reply was I have no freaking idea as soon as my ex was on the boat my trusty companion left me to fin for myself, I reached and untied the boat from the tree, shoved us off . I ran to the back of the boat to crank it and the flooded the motor.

I remember trying to get the motor to start and the waves was pushing us back into bank we could hear something breathing real hard me no my wife see anything but my son started hollering daddy there it is a bigfoot. took the paddle and started paddling backwards into open water.. I remember yelling at my ex how deep are we and when she finally told me that we was in 20 ft of water I dropped the anchor again. Turned and looked back and realized we was only about 15 ft from the bank. they were both panicking I made the comment we are in 20ft of water isn’t nothing going to get us.. I had this feeling I was being laughed at, it could get me if it wanted me.. A few moments later the boat motor finally cranked and we rolled up out of there.

My ex was a believer about bigfoot until that day. I asked my son when we got back to the camp a couple later what did he see.. He said he saw a mans face covered in hair peeking around a tree and 10-12 ft into the woods. When I was looking into the woods I was looking my eye level, he was 10 ft behind me on the boat standing in the seat looking into the woods. I guess that’s how he saw over the brush… needless to say we never went back there. to shorting this up to help my wife’s little fingers from typing.”

Brian writes “My girlfriend turned me on to your podcast… I think I had a encounter back in 2020… my nephew and I were taking a ride on my utv that I just purchased… the roads where I live. I own 40 acres and my friend owns 60 down the road. We rode threw hid property that leads to a dirt road on the west side. When we got out to the dirt road we seen what we first thought was a black horse walking down the road coming our direction. We stopped and tried to figure out what we were seeing.. then the thing would walk off the side and a moment later would come back out.

We knew it wasn’t a bear because it was too tall and walking up right. It did this a few times and I began to get nervous about it.. and turned around.. my nephew said we should go check it out… it came out again a bit closer and seemed to be about 8 feet tall… solid black and on two legs… I admit I got scared and drove out of there and back home… never seen anything again.

I hunt my land and heard some strange things but nothing that alarmed me… the only strange thing I have seen is some 4 inch diameter jack pine trees that have been laying over but they were twisted about 4 feet up and pushed over.”

LondonCNN — Artificial intelligence is coming for your job: 41% of employers intend to downsize their workforce as AI automates certain tasks, a World Economic Forum survey showed Wednesday.

Out of hundreds of large companies surveyed around the world, 77% also said they were planning to reskill and upskill their existing workers between 2025-2030 to better work alongside AI, according to findings published in the WEF’s Future of Jobs Report. But, unlike the previous, 2023 edition, this year’s report did not say that most technologies, including AI, were expected to be “a net positive” for job numbers.

“Advances in AI and renewable energy are reshaping the (labor) market — driving an increase in demand for many technology or specialist roles while driving a decline for others, such as graphic designers,” the WEF said in a press release ahead of its annual meeting in Davos later this month.

Writing in the wide-ranging report, Saadia Zahidi, the forum’s managing director, highlighted the role of generative AI in reshaping industries and tasks across all sectors. The technology can create original text, images and other content in response to prompts from users.

Postal service clerks, executive secretaries and payroll clerks are among jobs that employers expect to experience the fastest decline in numbers in coming years, whether due to the spread of AI or other trends.

“The presence of both graphic designers and legal secretaries just outside the top 10 fastest-declining job roles, a first-time prediction not seen in previous editions of the Future of Jobs Report, may illustrate GenAI’s increasing capacity to perform knowledge work,” the report said.

Conversely, AI skills are increasingly in demand. Close to 70% of companies are planning to hire new workers with skills to design AI tools and enhancements, and 62% intend to recruit more people with skills to better work alongside AI, according to the latest survey, conducted last year.

Striking an optimistic note, the report said the primary impact of technologies such as generative AI on jobs might lie in their potential for “augmenting” human skills through “human-machine collaboration,” rather than in outright replacement, “particularly given the continued importance of human-centered skills.”

However, many workers have already been replaced by AI. In recent years, some tech firms, including file storage service Dropbox and language-learning app Duolingo, have cited AI as a reason for making layoffs.

I would say my son and I had 2 more encounters similar to this while hunting.. The last one stopped me from hunting up until this last year, I convinced myself that I had buck fever and everywhere I looked was ma buck…. I made my self go hunting again this last spring. On April 14th 2024 @7:57 am I had my next encounter. It was my first time going hunting in 10/12 years… It was the second day of turkey season couldn’t make myself go in before daylight didn’t have guts. Finally made myself go in at about 20 minutes after daylight. hit my calls a couple times, couple hens came out in front of me got my cellphone out and started recording, let the hens do the work for me, after about 30 minutes letting the hens do the work for me, I heard him one if the biggest loudest toms I had ever heard he was close, I pointed my cell phone in the direction I heard him reached and grabbed my gun got ready after about 10 minutes, I put the gun down grabbed my phone.. Started messing with my phone looked up and saw 3 jakes, started recording them then realized they saw me and my hunt was over… so I set my phone down and shot the closest one. Once I shot I heard a loud noise. Just took for granted it was the flock of turkeys, picked up my bird took a couple pics, grabbed decoys and left…. it wasn’t until later that afternoon when I went to show the video that when I saw bigfoot in the background.. It was about 45 yards away.”

A jaw-dropping new facility could let you put your body on pause until the future. TimeShift is described as the world’s first cryopreservation facility and is based on cutting edge AI and new cryopreservation techniques.

The concept could allow cancer patients to wait in stasis for medical advancements or even for humanity to outlive apocalyptic disasters. The system would even use AI to let your digital avatar communicate with loved ones during cryostasis.
As well as also being suitable for endangered species or pets, TimeShift might also allow humans to travel deep into space by storing them for long periods of time.

The facility is being developed by Dr. Alex Zhavoronkov, a generative AI scientist and anti-aging researcher, and Hashem Al-Ghaili, a molecular biologist and science communicator.

Hashem said: “The project is still in the R&D phase. The primary focus right now is to continue optimizing the cryopreservation process developed by Dr. Alex Zhavoronkov. Once fully optimized, we plan to test it on animal models and proceed from there.

“Traditional cryopreservation methods are ineffective and lead to cell death; however, the new method is designed to avoid this problem.

“After optimizing the process, the next step will involve testing its efficacy and safety. There is no specific timeframe, but if everything goes as planned, a functional prototype could be ready within 5 to 8 years.”

The developers say the facility employs state-of-the-art methods to slow or halt the progression of neurodegenerative diseases and aggressive cancers, providing precious time for medical advancements.

Going beyond preservation, TimeShift offers pre-hibernation enhancements such as longevity interventions and gene therapy, ensuring individuals awaken healthier and better equipped for the future.

Dr. Alex Zhavoronkov said: “Over the past 10 years, multiple technologies have advanced in different laboratories around the world, and it is now a matter of multi-parameter optimisation for rapid cryogenic freezing and rewarming protocol.

“Getting to the dream of gaining the ability to see more life is now the matter of time.”

Hashem Al-Ghaili said: “TimeShift utilizes a groundbreaking process for freezing the human body and biological tissues, overcoming the limitations of traditional cryopreservation methods that rely on outdated technologies.

“Conventional procedures are typically performed after death. However, TimeShift’s advanced protocol is designed to preserve living individuals—such as cancer patients—using a carefully structured, multi-step suspended animation process.”

TimeShift also integrates advanced AI solutions, such as the so-called CryoMemory Vault and life-like AI avatars, allowing individuals to maintain connections with loved ones during their cryostasis.

Hashem Al-Ghaili said: “By combining AI and cryopreservation, we’re making it possible for families to remain close, even across decades.”

Beyond preserving individuals, TimeShift could transform industries by enabling better organ preservation, safeguarding biodiversity, and ensuring humanity’s continuity during disasters.

Dr. Alex Zhavoronkov said: “This new ability will impact every industry, from biomedicine to finance, and will become one of the key elements of next-generation real estate projects dedicated to the advancement of longevity biotechnology.”

A listener writes “Hey Wes, to date no one is sure what this image I pulled off my trail camera in the mountains of northern New Mexico.

My camera (lens) was just over 5.5′ above the ground so this critter has to be over 6′ tall. I “see” part of a lower lip at top center, a chin and then a chest but who knows?

Also, when I checked my camera the morning of October 24th, it was open and there were 22 images on it. This was image 22 so I’m assuming whatever this is managed to open the camera!

I’ve bounced this off a number of sasquatch researchers and have received the following responses from those kind enough to respond:

* Unsure but it appears to have fur and not hair so I don’t think it’s a sasquatch
* I’m not saying it’s a bigfoot but It’s not a deer or an elk and doesn’t appear to be a bear because there’s no snout
* I think it’s a cougar

Well, there you have it; any guess is as good as mine.”

Paranormal Portal writes “There are some people who seemed destined to share their life with the paranormal. By some trick of fate, they seem to be a beacon for the strange and unusual. Today, I welcome Tom Izzo to the show.

Tom has experienced spiritual encounters since he was a small boy when he was repeatedly confronted by an apparition of a man appearing in his darkened bedroom doorway. Tom’s experiences continued to occur throughout his life, bringing to light his own sensitivity to these events.”

The Confessionals writes “In episode 720: The Battle For Ufology, filmmaker Darcy Weir takes us behind the scenes of his experience at the historic U.S. congressional UFO hearing. As one of the last attendees allowed inside, Darcy witnessed discussions about hybrid programs, reverse-engineering alien technology, and underwater bases tied to UFO lore.

Darcy also dives into experiencers suffering radiation sickness from UAP encounters, raising questions about the phenomenon’s impact on human health. He then shares personal anecdotes, brushes with UFO legends, and his thoughts on the slow path of disclosure. This episode unravels the mysteries surrounding UAPs and their intersection with science, government, and the unknown.

A listener writes “I have believed in Sasquatch as long as I can remember. I saw the Patterson/Gimlin footage when I was three or four years old in 76 or 77. I didn’t get the itch until I was mushroom hunting (morels) in southern Indiana and started seeing ‘ X’s’ and other tree structures.

I have hundreds of photos of these. I started going out, studying BFRO sites, Indiana, and Kentucky, and figuring out where the sightings, or activity happened, so I could visit these sites and maybe get some activity as well.

I have a lake where each time I go I get tree knocks, mostly during the day. I was leaving this area and seen a ball of light, first, and only time. A friend of mine, Charlie Raymond was on your show and told you about my Orb sighting. It was illuminated, like a soft white almost, but not shining on anything. It was floating away from me, bigger than a golf ball, smaller than a baseball. It kind of scared me, I wanted to follow it, but I was afraid to. So, I left.

One of the locations that I figured out on Kentucky BFRO, was a ways away from my house, about a hour and a half, way down in Kentucky. The owner of the property had sightings, and nightly rock throwings at his car and house when he would get home from work at 330-400 AM for 2-3 months at a time. Charlie Raymond knew this gentleman and got permission for me to go to his house, and talk to him and check it out. I went there, but didn’t want to bother him, so I sat about a half mile from his house by myself at 1200am – 100am.

I saw orange lights across the tree line, and heard sounds like a “woof”, but not a dog woof, a whole bunch. So, where I grew up in Illinois, guys aways went Raccoon hunting at night, and this is what I thought was going on, but it didn’t sound like dogs. So finally, that calmed down, and it was dark dark, and where I am sitting “in my truck” watching, is 50 yards to the tree line. I saw two orange things “Glowing Orange” not bright orange, but orange, floating across the tree line. This whole time I was there for some Sasquatch activity, but the whole time I was there I wasn’t thinking Sasquatch. A month or two later it came to me when I was listening to someone on your show and they said something about orange eyes.

I have had more activity close to Bloomington, Indiana. Been hit with a rock, had rocks thrown when I was relieving myself, lol. Boulder sounding splashes in the lake across from me in the middle of the night. I picked up a big rock like they put in ditches for erosion control, and it sounded like a pebble compared to that.”

ThinkerThunker writes “We now have the ability to literally “SEE” and distinguish the vocalizations of all known species (including humans) as though we were looking at fingerprints. You’ll see in this quick video that there is a large, unknown species out there with incredibly complex vocal abilities that produces sound far differently from all known species.”

A listener writes “I wasn’t going to share this until i saw a similar experience in the same area of the Uwharrie forest. I was at the trailhead of Dutchmans Creek at 9 in the morning during a week day about two weeks ago.

Mine was the only car at the trailhead until after 10:30 with only logging trucks passing through every 30-45 minutes. I was walking down Dutchmans Creek, enjoying the solitude and quiet of the forest when I turned a bend and heard a loud wood knock at my two o’clock and was answered by another at my 10 o’clock within one second of the first. It threw me off because it sounded like an answering reply. I walked back up the trail and hung out for about thirty minutes just listening relaxing before I choose to head back down the trail. As i approached the same bend in the trail I again heard a wood knock at my 10 o’clock and then a second at my 5 o’clock.

Extremely weird I thought, and again within one second of each other. I decided to walk back up the trail towards the second knock. There’s an atv trail near the trailhead I walked up until I heard another wood knock around the same area I would have estimated the second at my 5 o’clock would have been. I waited for about fifteen minutes without hearing or seeing anything else. I decided to walk back to the base of the trail head and within twenty foot steps back down the trail I heard something huff at me from over my left shoulder. It came from inside a deep ditch but I didn’t see anything there.

I’ve had deer huff at me before when I’ve gotten close and they spotted me, I’m sure bear huff as well to threaten/challenge something but what got me was that I heard and saw no movement at all throughout this entire time. I walked back to the trailhead, waited 15-20 min and then snook back towards the same spot. I was completely quiet; no rustling from my clothes, boots didn’t rustle plants and no crunch from dried leaves or twigs. As I approached I heard what sounded like a guttural baby moan or call. This occurred in high brush on the other side of the ditch to my right.

The sound occurred every hand full of minutes and I would creep closer to see if I could spot it. Though the sound would change the direction it was facing there was never any movement in the brush and though I always carry when I’m in the woods I dared not enter into the thick brush, especially since I couldn’t identify the animal that had huffed at me nor what type of animal was making the cries from in the brush. I didn’t feel spooked until after the event when I thought over what had happened. I enjoy the woods, tracking and following game trails and though most of my experience is in Florida swamps with hogs or deer I couldn’t identify the guttural moaning or see the thing that huffed at me.”

Paranthropus is a genus of extinct hominin which contains two widely accepted species: P. robustus and P. boisei. However, the validity of Paranthropus is contested, and it is sometimes considered to be synonymous with Australopithecus. They are also referred to as the robust australopithecines. They lived between approximately 2.9 and 1.2 million years ago (mya) from the end of the Pliocene to the Middle Pleistocene.

Paranthropus is characterized by robust skulls, with a prominent gorilla-like sagittal crest along the midline—which suggest strong chewing muscles—and broad, herbivorous teeth used for grinding. However, they likely preferred soft food over tough and hard food. Typically, Paranthropus species were generalist feeders, but while P. robustus was likely an omnivore, P. boisei seems to have been herbivorous, possibly preferring abundant bulbotubers. Paranthropoids were bipeds. Despite their robust heads, they had comparatively small bodies. Average weight and height are estimated to be 40 kg (88 lb) at 132 cm (4 ft) for P. robustus males, 50 kg (110 lb) at 137 cm (4 ft 6 in) for P. boisei males, 32 kg (71 lb) at 110 cm (3 ft 7 in) for P. robustus females, and 34 kg (75 lb) at 124 cm (4 ft 1 in) for P. boisei females.

They were possibly polygamous and patrilocal, but there are no modern analogues for australopithecine societies. They are associated with bone tools and contested as the earliest evidence of fire usage. They typically inhabited woodlands, and coexisted with some early human species, namely A. africanus, H. habilis and H. erectus. They were preyed upon by the large carnivores of the time, specifically crocodiles, leopards, sabertoothed cats and hyenas.
