Its a question that bridges ancient theology with modern UFO lore. Many researchers, theologians, and UFO theorists have noticed striking similarities between fallen angels (as described in ancient texts) and extraterrestrial or interdimensional beings (as described in modern UFO encounters).

Comment below on this thought exercise

Below is a detailed comparison that outlines the core parallels:

1. Origins from the Heavens

Fallen Angels:

  • Described in the Book of Enoch, Genesis 6, and other traditions as beings who descended from the heavens to Earth.

  • Often portrayed as “Watchers” celestial beings who abandoned their divine post.

UFO Beings:

  • UFO occupants or “aliens” are also said to come from the sky, outer space, or another dimension.

  • Their arrival in glowing craft or beams of light echoes the “descent from heaven” imagery.

Similarity: Both are described as beings not of Earth who descend from above and interact with humanity.

2. Interbreeding or Genetic Manipulation

Fallen Angels:

  • In the Book of Enoch and Genesis 6, the “sons of God” took human women and produced Nephilim, hybrids of divine and human nature.

  • This act led to corruption on Earth and divine punishment.

UFO Beings:

  • In many abduction stories, extraterrestrials (especially the “Greys”) are said to perform reproductive experiments, extracting DNA or creating human-alien hybrids.

Similarity: Both accounts involve crossbreeding or genetic tampering between non-human entities and humans.

3. Advanced Knowledge or Forbidden Technology

Fallen Angels:

  • The Watchers are said to have taught humans forbidden arts and sciences: metallurgy, weapon-making, astrology, sorcery, and cosmetics.

  • Their knowledge accelerated civilization but was viewed as corrupting.

UFO Beings:

  • UFO lore often suggests that aliens possess superior technology, from anti-gravity propulsion to telepathy and advanced medicine.

  • Some contactees claim these beings reveal secret knowledge or warn humanity about destruction.

Similarity: Both are depicted as bearers of advanced knowledge—but knowledge that can uplift or endanger humanity.

4. Spiritual or Moral Ambiguity

Fallen Angels:

  • Appear both as deceivers (Lucifer, Azazel) and as tragic rebels who sought freedom.

  • Their intentions are complex — some wanted to “help” mankind, others to dominate or corrupt.

UFO Beings:

  • Also ambiguous: some accounts depict benevolent “space brothers”, others describe malevolent abductors.

  • They may present themselves as saviors, but their true motives are often hidden.

Similarity: Both are morally unclear — appearing enlightened or angelic, yet sometimes deceptive or manipulative.

5. Shape-Shifting and Light Phenomena

Fallen Angels:

  • Often appear as beings of light or beautiful forms, but can transform or disguise themselves.

  • “Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light” (2 Corinthians 11:14).

UFO Beings:

  • Frequently described as luminous, appearing amid orbs, flashes, or radiant craft.

  • Some UFO entities are seen as energy-based or capable of shifting form.

Similarity: Both manifest as radiant, transformative beings of light, linking to the ancient idea of luminescent divinity.

6. Deception and Control

Fallen Angels:

  • According to many religious interpretations, they deceive humans into worshipping false gods or rejecting divine truth.

  • They manipulate human perception.

UFO Beings:

  • Some abductees report mental control, telepathic suggestion, or memory alteration after encounters.

  • “Screen memories” or false imagery are common features.

Similarity: Both are described as entities that manipulate human consciousness or distort reality.

7. Apocalyptic or End-Time Role

Fallen Angels:

  • Often linked to the end times, where they play roles as deceivers, tempters, or instruments of judgment.

  • The Book of Revelation describes fallen stars (angels) releasing chaos on Earth.

UFO Beings:

  • Some UFO religions (like Raëlism or Heaven’s Gate) believe aliens will return during an apocalyptic transformation.

  • Others see them as heralds of a coming change or revelation.

Similarity: Both traditions associate these entities with cosmic upheaval and the end of an age.

8. Worship and Cult Formation

Fallen Angels:

  • Ancient pagan gods may have been interpreted by monotheists as fallen angels demanding worship.

UFO Beings:

  • In modern times, UFO cults and contactee movements sometimes revere aliens as divine saviors or creators.

Similarity: In both eras, humanity tends to worship or follow these non-human beings as gods or higher powers.

The parallels between fallen angels and UFO beings are so strong that some researchers propose they’re different interpretations of the same phenomenon — ancient encounters described in theological language, modern ones in technological language.

  • Ancient lens: “Angels from heaven bringing forbidden knowledge.”

  • Modern lens: “Aliens from space bringing advanced technology.”

In both cases, the story remains one of contact between humanity and powerful, otherworldly intelligences with mixed, often unsettling consequences. What are your thoughts?

Shocking Similarities Between Fallen Angels and UFO Beings

A listener writes “I can not believe I am emailing you. I have listened to your show for many years and appreciate your kindness to your listeners.

I wanted to share what happened to us and maybe get feedback on what you think it was and if anyone has told you anything similar. Friday Oct 10, 2025 My Daughter and I and Son In-Law went on an overnight hike starting at Blood mountain. This was only my 4th overnight hike. We enjoy hiking but camping overnight is a little more nerve racking for me. So I brought my dog, thinking she would alert me to anything and if she was sleeping I could sleep.

We arrived on top around 3:30 . Top being the look out of blood mountain. If you look at an aerial view it is marked look out. This is not a campsite. However, my daughter who is a few months pregnant was tired when we reached the top, and we decided collectively that we could just camp on the top. There were two soft spots off to the side of the trail. I want to be clear we were out in the open and those on the trail would see us and get confused. Again this top look out is not one of the campsites, there are campsites along the way but we loved the views of the Appalachian mountains and decided to set up there.

We went to bed around 9 pm. The hikers stopped coming once the sun went down. So we felt like it was going to be a quiet night.

I also was playing an audio book to help me sleep. It was not loud. I slept fine until 4:00 am. I woke up because I heard what sounded like a boulder or something very heavy hit the ground. And it woke me. I laid there thinking, what was that? I started thinking a boulder fell off the mountain. . It was maybe 15 mins later that the dog was 100 pounds, started to walk on me and wanted out of the tent. So, now I have made all this noise and my daughter asked if i was going out, I said yes I have to pee and so does Holly. She asked if I wanted her to watch my back, which I thought was weird but I had been asleep and she had been hearing things I had not. So we did our business and returned to tents.

Not long after returning to our tents and getting comfy we heard 2 rocks banging together. Hard and loud, and maybe between 8 and 10 smacks. After this I just said out loud my daughters name, like i was checking did she hear that and she replied. And then we heard 2 men talking. But I could not understand them. It was like one would say something then the other would reply. Like they were just out of my hearing but it was weird I could hear them, just not what they were saying. Then again with the rocks, the same fast hitting of 2 rocks together. And Then they talked again. We both were in separate tents listening to this and I thought what are these dudes doing up here? It was too early for the sun to rise and our tents could be clearly seen. it just made no sense.

Hearing the men talking threw me off and I started thinking they were out there on the lookout and my daughter said do you want to sit outside. I think we both wanted to be outside and if there were men we were going to face them head on.

After we came and sat outside, made coffee, no fire there was no more talking, no rock clacking silence. We were expecting to see other hikers out there, or that they would come out of the trail to the top. And there was no one. My dog slept, my son in-law slept and that is when My daughter told me that around 2 am someone walked down from the right of us (so the top) and came by our tents. But she had her eyes open and there was not a headlamp she could see. And she never heard them walk off. She also heard small rocks being thrown.

Also there was a bear can that we had put on top about 70 paces away (per instructions) and it was undisturbed. Even the loose items were just as we left them.

I wanted to tell you, I can not tell my friends and some of our family. My daughter said today she wanted to tell someone. I think if I were alone I would not have believed it but my daughter heard all this too. I would love to know what you think and if anyone has reported anything similar. Again Thank you! Your podcast is documenting something very important.”

The Gloucester Sea Monster is one of America’s earliest and most famous sea serpent legends, originating from Gloucester, Massachusetts in the early 19th century. This strange creature reportedly haunted the waters off the New England coast for decades terrifying fishermen, mystifying scientists, and sparking one of the first recorded American cryptid investigations.

“It moved with such rapidity that no boat could overtake it… its motion was like that of a caterpillar, alternately rising and falling.”
Gloucester eyewitness testimony, 1817

The Gloucester Sea Monster — Overview

  • First major reports: August 1817
  • Location: Gloucester Harbor, Cape Ann, Massachusetts
  • Type: Long, serpent-like sea creature
  • Reported length: 40–100 feet
  • Behavior: Slithering or undulating through the water, sometimes coiling or raising its head like a snake

In August 1817, several fishermen near Gloucester Harbor reported seeing an enormous, serpent-like creature swimming just offshore.

Eyewitness Descriptions:

  • Length: Between 50–100 feet
  • Thickness: About that of a barrel or large tree trunk
  • Color: Dark brown or black with light-colored spots
  • Head: Snake- or turtle-like, occasionally raised above the water
  • Movement: The creature moved in a vertical, undulating motion, with humps (10–12 in a line) appearing as it swam.

Witnesses claimed it swam against the current and moved faster than a whale.

Soon, entire crowds gathered along the coast to watch it. According to reports, dozens of fishermen and townspeople saw the monster during the late summer of 1817. The reports drew the attention of the Linnean Society of New England, a scientific organization based in Boston. Members, including Dr. Jacob Bigelow and Dr. John C. Warren, investigated the sightings.

They interviewed firsthand witnesses and even claimed to have found a baby sea serpent caught by a local fisherman.

  • The small creature was about 3 feet long and had snake-like features.

  • It was preserved in alcohol and displayed publicly for study.

The Linnean Society concluded that the Gloucester creature might be a new species of marine serpent, naming it Scoliophis Atlanticus.

However, the preserved “baby serpent” was later examined by other scientists — who determined it was just a common snake, deformed by the alcohol preservative.

Later Sightings and Recurring Encounters

1818–1820s

Reports continued for several years.

  • Fishermen along Cape Ann, Ipswich, and Marblehead described seeing the serpent rise from the water.
  • In one dramatic report, a crew of sailors claimed the monster followed their ship for several minutes before diving under.

1850s–1880s

The creature was sighted less frequently but never entirely disappeared from local lore.

  • One report described a massive “black object” thrashing in the water near Nahant.
  • Another fisherman said it “rose like a wall” out of the sea and vanished with a loud splash.

1950s–1970s

A few modern sightings echoed the old tales:

  • In the 1950s, a Gloucester lobsterman reported seeing a “snake-like creature” with “humps like a row of barrels.”
  • In 1962, a tourist claimed to have photographed a strange undulating figure offshore, though the image was never verified.

Theories:

  1. Oarfish: Some believe the creature was a large oarfish, a real species that can grow over 30 feet and move in a serpentine fashion.

  2. Giant eel or sea snake: Could have been an enormous eel or unrecognized marine species.

  3. Misidentified whale or seals: Groups of seals or a whale’s back moving through the waves may have created the illusion of a “serpent.”

  4. Folklore / mass hysteria: Once the story gained traction, observers may have exaggerated or misinterpreted what they saw.

The Gloucester Sea Monster

A listener writes “I came across your podcast and thought you might find my story of interest. I’m an avid hiker and outdoorsman in Colorado for many years and in my many hours of time in the backcountry, I’ve never had anything happen except for once.

Ten years ago, my wife and I had something happen to us in the Wet Mountains of Colorado that scared us, and was consistent with the many stories you hear about Bigfoot. Interestingly, I found out after the fact that it was the same area where a father and son saw one off the road that was documented on the BFRO. That really made the whole experience that much more interesting.

I kept quiet about it for the longest time other than me and Sarah (my wife) reminiscing on it. I finally got the confidence to document the story on my You Tube channel where I revisited the site and recounted the experience here:

My channel is not a Bigfoot channel, but the story fit in overall with what I like to do for videos. I take it seriously so I hope you get a chance to check it out and hear my story. The video is a bit dramatic in music and storytelling but the story is true. I dig what you are doing and would love the opportunity to come on if you’d ever like to hear about it in detail.

I need to see the big fella to truly accept it and that hasn’t happened yet, maybe never will. But this was an extremely significant encounter in my life and I’m grateful for it.

I am open to it if you ever want to know more.”

A listener writes “In the summer of 2013 or 2014, I went camping with my friend Perry and his father in upstate New York, we lived in Saranac Lake, which is 15 minutes down the road from Lake Placid where the 1980 miracle on ice occurred.

Upstate New York is nothing like the city that the state is most famously known for, its mountainous, and covered in forests, and is also home to the Adirondack state park, where our little town was nestled.

We had gone with his nearly estranged father to a camping ground near a lake, which one I cannot remember, as the area is littered with them. What I do remember however is Perry’s father had stopped us setting up camp to tell us a scary story, ironically enough about Sasquatch. He told us a story about it taking food and attacking campers, but the two of us both teenagers, blew off his story. I for one have always had an interest in Bigfoot, but growing up, every adult in my life had talked down to me or made fun of this interest, causing me to in a sense disengage from them when they attempted to talk shop with me.

This camp ground was large, and had over 20 slots, and his father had splurged in an attempt to reconcile with Perry, opting to rent a site next to the lake. Between our campsite and every other was about 100 feet of thick woods, to allow privacy between the families camping. At the time I believe it was us, and two other families as it was nearing the end of summer, and they were a few sites away from us. The camping was fun, and nothing too exciting occurred other than the three of us learning to set up an over complicated bass pro tent for a small family. At around 10 o’clock that night give or take an hour we had been sitting around our campfire when Perry’s father’s demeanor changed.

For most of this day we had all three been very excited and having fun, but at this point in the night he seemed to suddenly become very serious. He got us to clean up our campsite and pack up everything aside from a large cooler he had brought along. Then he had ushered us into the tent. Perry and I, both being 13 or 14, were still awake, laughing over dumb jokes and attempting not to wake Perry’s father when we began to hear walking. At this time I had not been as well versed of the sounds of the woods as I would become later in life, but even then I could distinguish the sound of bipedal walking, especially when it sounded heavy. We heard something begin to approach our campsite, and at first I had wondered if it were a loon or heron which were all over the lake during the day. This however was quickly disproven when it approached our tent. Perry’s face suddenly became filled with fear, fear which matched the sudden sinking feeling growing in my chest and stomach.

I had turned slightly to my left, onto my back, as I was closest to the side this unknown had approached, and something inside me demanded I not have my back to whatever this was. We sat there for what felt like forever, but could only have been a minute, when the side of the tent began to push in slowly, what was pushing it in has never left me. What I can only describe as a poorly outlined hand had pushed in the side of the tent. The tent wall had bulged inwards a good five or six inches and was starting to stretch as far inward as it could before the tent began to bend. The hand itself reminded me of my fathers hand, he is a man of 6 feet and over 250 pounds, and had hands that remind me of the cartoon character wreck it Ralph, or more accurately like a baseball glove. What shocked me most of all was that this hand seemed to be double or triple the size of my father’s hands.

I believe if it were not for what happened next, it may have kept moving its hand further. Perry’s father actively spoke in his sleep, a quirk of his that I at the time did not know. He had said something quiet, but just loud enough that it caused this hand to pull away. It was at this moment that the air began to feel electrified, like we had done something wrong, and the fear in my body then and even now rewriting this spiked. The woods had gone deadly silent, the only sound we could hear was the water from the lake make ten feet from our tent.

We froze, Perry and I had lain as flat as possible to avoid bringing attention to ourselves, and were doing our best to slow our breathing, to keep quiet. Perry’s father however had mumbled something else, and Perry decided he would attempt to wake him. It half worked, as his father seemed to hear Perry whispering to him, because the next thing I knew his father chuckled and said “You’re trying to scare me for the story aren’t you? Not gonna work” and moments later, his father was once again asleep.

As he spoke, we heard and felt the steps from earlier walk away from us, further into our campsite. We had pitched our tent on the edge of the site because a large picnic table sat in the center, this table is where we left our cooler. I mention this because you could hear the wood suddenly creaking as if something heavy was leaned on it or sat on it. Following this was the sound of the cooler opening, and the sound of plastic bags and cans being sorted through.

Perry and I held our breath, terrified. At the time I refused to believe it was Bigfoot, because I did not want what was happening to ruin my enjoyment of the subject.

We listened to it for quite some time, I believe four or five minutes, rummaging through the cooler, before we heard the cooler close, and the steps begin to move away. The next thing we heard was something entering the water, and the sound of something swimming away.

We stayed awake after that, or more accurately I did, Perry eventually got to sleep, I can only imagine he was exhausted from the terror we had felt. I, in my infinite wisdom of a brazen 13 or 14 year old, waited for sunrise to exit the tent, where I found our cooler still on the table but moved, and many of the items we had brought in the cooler strewn about the site. I did not see tracks, as the ground here was too hard, but what I did notice was that the cooler felt oily on the handles, like someone who had washed their hands in seed oils had touched it, or someone who had done an oil change had just manhandled the cooler. It also smelled slightly of mildew, or more accurately it smelled like stale air.

When Perry woke and so did his father, Perry apparently had decided to not talk about what had happened, and his father thought I was trying to scare him for as he put it “payback for yesterdays story”.

Suffice to say, I had grown a pair of eyes in the back of my head that night, which would keep me aware in the woods for years to come.”

I moved to Virginia in 2016, and have lived here since then. It was last year, 2024, when I had lost my job in retail. I had lost my grandmother who had been there my whole life, she had been there for me when I lost my sister in 2009 and even been there holding one of my mothers legs when I was born. This loss had hit me hard and I had lost the passion I had for my job and most things around me. It had been my spouse Lynn’s suggestion that I go into something new, something that got me outside, to help me find my passion for work again. So I applied to FedEX Ground in Winchester Virginia, and to my delight I got the job fairly quickly. I was trained, and put into my own truck within a month and a half of getting the gig. My route was Luray Virginia, specifically the area around Highway US-211 East, called Fairview. This area is mostly hills, woods, farms, pastures, and creeks. This is about as rural as you can get, internet vanishes here, your phone loses signal, and most people you speak to is related to five others here. I loved my route, except for three places on it. I remember these areas because of what occurred here.

To start was Piney Mountain Road. Piney Mountain goes up to a small paved circle where houses have mailboxes. The houses these boxes belong to were each up a steep mountain whose roads were carved out of the mud and dirt between trees, and every driveway was a challenge: the worst of all was at the top of the mountain, where a house had an inclined driveway. This driveway had no good turn arounds aside from a small patch of dirt that sat precariously over a small drop of about 70 feet onto a slope with a slight incline of 80°. I would have to do an eleven point turn to turn my vehicle around and then pray to god my brakes didn’t give out as I delivered these peoples packages. Well the more I delivered to them, the more I felt like someone was going to come out of the woods and attack me in the truck. I was filled with dread every time, to the point where I started to have recurring nightmares about a black leathery face with a furry head and amber colored eyes peaking into my truck window while I’m delivering to this house.

And for a month I had this nightmare.  I’d always see this face start to peak into the truck, and then I’d wake up. But I know every time I delivered to this home I was filled with dread to the point I once just left their boxes in the driveway and nearly killed myself flying down the mountain. There was one night however, when I was out extremely late delivering, that I arrived at the paved circle at the bottom of the mountain, and decided I was never driving up there again. I parked and was on the phone with my spouse, with an earbud in one ear. I was delivering to the only house at the bottom before I was to go up the mountain, when I began to hear nearly every sound I’ve ever heard you play on the podcast start up that mountain, I heard arguing samurai chatter, I heard howling, screaming, I heard branches and trees being torn apart, and I flew into my truck, leaving their packages in a drop box that belonged their neighbors and I left in tears.

Next, would be Morning Star Road or as google calls it “Jewell Hollow Road.” Not much happened here aside from two things. I saw a distant figure up on a hill one day for maybe a moment that was man shaped and black, and an old woman who told me and I quote her directly “the boogers don’t like you speeding around here.”

To finish out I would have to drive up a road directly behind the Shenandoah national park HQ, East Rocky Branch. This road went far back into the woods, surround by it really, on the right side of the road was a 10 foot drop into a ditch with a river at the center, and on the left was a hill connected to a small mountain. I drove this entire road, delivering boxes to every house, except for the ones at the ends. Every time I would drive down this road I would get an odd feeling, like I was being watched. I had chalked it up to paranoia; because I had been listening to your shows episodes I’d downloaded on the app, I just had become a true member and not an Apple podcast listener anymore. For months I was just calling it paranoia, denying the occasional stick break, the woods going silent, or the feeling of being watched. There was even a point when I had gone a different road this occurred so I assumed I had just begun overthinking, until the last two months I worked for FedEX. I had a house I delivered to at the end, which had a large cleared yard with trees surrounding it. There was a large opening about maybe 40 feet wide that looked all the way to a small waterfall about 200 feet from where I’d park in their gravel driveway. I had met the family who lived here a few times, and the father was a good 6’5 maybe 6’6. This is important because I would often see the father about halfway back towards this waterfall, and he would stand beside a tree in this clear view in order to talk with me as I delivered packages, mainly to tell me where to place them.

It was November, and I was arriving in their driveway on a day they must not have been home, because their car that usually blocked me from doing an easy turn around in this driveway was gone. So I parked sideways in the driveway, and began to take their package out. I hadn’t noticed it yet, but the woods were silent aside from the occasional gust of wind. The package was quite heavy; and I had been spouting some expletives as I was not in the best of shape, but I eventually got it on their porch. Once I did, I turned around and looked back in the clearing.

What I saw fills me with dread to this day.

For the life of me I cannot remember his face, it’s as if my mind forced me to forget to save me undue trauma. But every time I try to remember, even now, I can feel the beginnings of tears in my eyes, and my a sinking feeling in my chest. What I can remember of him was his height and width and an odd behavior he did.

He had to have been 9 or 10 feet tall, for his head was above the branch that the father usually stood under. He was barrel chested, covered in smooth silky hair. He was so wide that I could only see the left side of his chest and stomach, the right side kept going out of view. He must have been four or five feet wide from shoulder to shoulder. His arm was hanging beside him, holding the branch. What struck me and made me not email you immediately Wes was his hair. The color of his hair had given me a sense of imposter syndrome since this encounter, as I had never heard of this specific look before. The hair covered everything, there was no bare skin on his chest or stomach, and it was smooth, and clean, it resembled the hair of the women in the L’Oréal commercials. But unlike anything I’d ever heard, his hair was darkish silver and a silvery blue. Where light didn’t hit his hair it seemed more silvery blue than silver while the rest had this almost gunmetal silver to it. It covered him entirely aside from his hand and from what my mind allows me to remember; I know his face was devoid of hair.

I must have stood there for a solid minute until autopilot took over. I don’t know why but I slowly raised my hand, and began to wave.

What sticks with me to this day, is he let go of the branch and held his hand up, palm open. It felt like he waved back in a sense, like I’d confused him with something he’d never seen a person do before and he decided to do it back. His hand was large enough that I can tell you his skin was battleship gray, maybe a little darker, and it looked weathered, almost like an elephants skin. His fingers were slender, or at least slender for something of that size and build, but long.

We must have stood staring at each other for two minutes with our hands up when my mind told me I needed to leave immediately. So I slowly walked to my truck, climbed inside, closed and locked the doors, looked back and he was still there, only he was turned away, I remember because I saw the back of his head, it was rounded like ours not conical, and it looked like it was growing out of his shoulders. Something in me told me to stop looking and leave, and so I backed up quickly and drove away as fast as I could.

These encounters have made me going into the woods near impossible, because I can’t remember the creatures face. If I go into the woods my head is on a swivel, and I’m always on alert….to answer your question ahead of time, I feel I need to see one again; at least the face, so I can get closure and take the woods back for myself.”

The Lizard Man is a famous cryptid from the Southern United States, particularly South Carolina, and is often described as a humanoid reptile that inhabits swamps and rural areas.

Here’s a detailed breakdown:

Basic Facts

  • Name: Lizard Man (sometimes called the Scape Ore Swamp Lizard Man)

  • Location: Primarily near Scape Ore Swamp in Lee County, South Carolina

  • First Reports: 1988 — though some locals claim sightings before that

  • Creature Type: Humanoid reptilian cryptid

Descriptions

Eyewitnesses often describe the Lizard Man as:

  • 7 feet tall (some accounts vary)

  • Green, scaly skin

  • Red eyes

  • Clawed hands

  • Three toes per foot

  • Powerful and fast — able to move quickly through swampy terrain

Some reports even claim it can climb trees or jump long distances.

Encounters

Christopher Davis’ Encounter (June 29, 1988)

Seventeen-year-old Christopher Davis reported that his car broke down near Scape Ore Swamp. While changing the tire, he was approached by a seven-foot-tall, reptilian humanoid with glowing red eyes. The creature allegedly attacked his car, leaving deep scratches and dents. Davis managed to escape and later passed a polygraph test regarding his account.

Mark Porter’s Sighting (July 1988)

A former police officer named Mark Porter claimed to have seen the Lizard Man outside his home in Brownstown, a small settlement near Scape Ore Swamp. He described the creature as a bipedal, seven-foot-tall being with red eyes and green scales. Porter’s account was considered credible due to his background in law enforcement.

Lee County Detention Center Incident (August 1988)

In the early hours, several inmates at the Lee County Detention Center began shouting and pounding on their cell doors, claiming to have seen a reptilian creature outside their windows. Officers investigated but found no evidence. This event added to the growing number of Lizard Man reports.

Veterinarian’s Discovery (July 1988)

A local veterinarian reported finding a crude nest made of sticks and mud near Scape Ore Swamp. The nest contained mutilated rodents and snakes, which some believed to be the Lizard Man’s lair. However, no definitive evidence linked the nest to the creature.

2015 Video Footage

In August 2015, a video surfaced showing a humanoid figure in the woods near Bishopville. The footage was grainy, but some viewers believed it depicted the Lizard Man. Experts remained skeptical, citing the video’s quality and lack of clear evidence.

2017 Solar Eclipse Advisory

During the 2017 solar eclipse, the South Carolina Emergency Management Division humorously issued a tweet advising residents of Lee and Sumter counties to “remain vigilant” for Lizard Man sightings. While intended as a joke, the tweet reignited interest in the legend.

These incidents, among others, have kept the Lizard Man legend alive in South Carolina. The creature remains a topic of local folklore and a point of interest for cryptid enthusiasts.

Explanations

Several explanations have been proposed:

  1. Misidentified wildlife: Some think it might be a large iguana or alligator seen in poor lighting.

  2. Hoaxes: Some incidents have been admitted as pranks.

  3. Folklore / Urban Legend: The story has grown into a regional legend, drawing tourists and cryptid enthusiasts.

  4. Unknown Cryptid: For believers, it remains an unexplained humanoid reptile — a true “swamp monster.”

Cultural Impact

  • The Lizard Man has inspired souvenirs, local festivals, and media coverage.

  • A state road sign now marks the Lizard Man legend near Scape Ore Swamp.

  • It is one of the most famous modern Southern cryptids, alongside the Skunk Ape of Florida and the Fouke Monster of Arkansas.

The “Wild Men of No Man’s Land” were a chilling aspect of World War I’s trench warfare, and several accounts from soldiers and officers describe encounters with these feral figures. These individuals were often deserters from various armies—British, French, German, Australian, and others who abandoned their posts and took refuge in the desolate space between opposing trenches.

Living off scavenged supplies and exhibiting behaviors that blurred the line between human and animal, they became infamous among soldiers.

Soldier Accounts and Encounters

British Cavalry Officer’s Report (1918, Battle of the Somme):
A British cavalry officer reported observing a group of German soldiers entering No Man’s Land, disappearing into a trench system. He believed they had gone underground. When he attempted to send a search party to investigate, he was advised against it, as it was rumored that wild, ghoul-like men inhabited the area and would feast on anyone who ventured there.

French Soldier’s Testimony:
A French soldier recounted an encounter where he and his comrades were ambushed by a group of emaciated men who had been living in No Man’s Land. These individuals, once soldiers, had turned feral, relying on primitive tactics and exhibiting animalistic behavior. The soldier described the encounter as a terrifying reminder of the dehumanizing effects of prolonged warfare.

German Soldier’s Account:
A German soldier shared his experience of being captured by a group of wild men. He was taken to their makeshift camp in No Man’s Land, where he observed their survivalist lifestyle. They had constructed shelters from debris and scavenged supplies, and their appearance was described as wild and unkempt. The soldier noted their distrust of authority and their rejection of military discipline.

Psychological and Social Factors

The extreme conditions of trench warfare, constant bombardment, unsanitary living conditions, and the ever-present threat of death contributed to the breakdown of social norms and military discipline. Some soldiers, unable to cope with the horrors of war, deserted and sought refuge in No Man’s Land. There, they formed communities that were both a survival mechanism and a rejection of the war’s dehumanizing effects. The phenomenon of these “wild men” serves as a haunting testament to the psychological toll of war and the lengths to which individuals would go to escape its horrors.

The Gloucester Ghoul (sometimes spelled Gloocester Ghoul or Glocester Ghoul) is one of New England’s oldest and eeriest monster legends a mysterious, decaying creature said to have haunted the forests of Glocester, Rhode Island (not Gloucester, Massachusetts) in the late 1800s.

It’s part ghost story, part cryptid report, and part local folklore and it remains one of Rhode Island’s most chilling backwoods legends.

Origin of the Legend

  • Location: Glocester (pronounced “Gloster”), a rural, wooded area in northwest Rhode Island.

  • First Reports: Around the 1880s–1890s, particularly from Snake Hill and Round Top regions, where people claimed to see a terrifying inhuman figure at night.

  • Earliest Mention: Local newspapers and oral folklore collected later by historians like Charles M. Skinner (Myths and Legends of Our Own Land, 1896).

Descriptions of the Ghoul

Witnesses described the creature as:

  • Tall and thin, sometimes said to be over 6 feet, with a skeletal or decomposed appearance

  • Covered in rotting gray flesh or dirty, tattered rags

  • Glowing or sunken red eyes

  • Emaciated, with bones visible beneath its skin

  • Moving in a jerky, unnatural way

  • Accompanied by a horrible stench  like decay or sulfur

Some versions claim it had clawed hands and a face like a skull, giving it the name “Ghoul.”

Encounters

There are several accounts passed down in local storytelling:

  1. The Snake Hill Sightings (c. 1890s):
Farmers working near Snake Hill claimed to see the figure crossing their fields at dusk, moving on two legs but “as if half-dead.” When approached, it let out an “unearthly shriek” and vanished into the woods.

  2. The Round Top Road Account:
A horse-drawn carriage was allegedly stopped at night when the horses refused to move. The driver saw what he thought was a man by the road until he noticed it had no nose or lips and its eyes glowed red. He fled, later telling townsfolk he’d seen “the Ghoul of Glocester.”

  3. Disappearances and Fear:
Rumors spread that livestock were being killed or mutilated in the area though no firm evidence was ever found. Parents used the tale to scare children into coming home before dark.

Explanations and Theories

The “Ghoul” legend mixes older supernatural beliefs with local events. Here are the leading interpretations:

  1. A Decomposing Corpse or Hermit:
Some locals speculated the Ghoul was actually a mad hermit or escaped asylum patient living in the woods, his appearance frightening anyone who saw him.

  2. Ghost Story Origins:
Others saw it as a haunting, possibly the spirit of a long-dead settler or criminal said to have been buried improperly in the woods.

  3. Folklore Embellishment:
Many folklorists now see the story as an example of late-19th-century rural ghost lore, amplified by isolation, superstition, and the popularity of “weird tales” in newspapers.

  4. Proto-Cryptid Connection:
Some modern researchers link the “Glocester Ghoul” to early Bigfoot or humanoid monster stories, a sort of regional precursor to later cryptids like the Dover Demon or Mothman.

The term “booger” (sometimes “boogerman” or “boogey”) comes from “bogey” or “bugbear”, old English words that meant a frightening creature or ghost used to scare children into behaving. “Bogey” appears in English as early as the 1500s, referring to a hobgoblin or specter.

This word traveled through Scotland, Ireland, and the American colonies, especially into the Appalachian Mountains and the Deep South, where accents and local slang transformed bogeybooger. In this sense, booger didn’t originally mean something gross from your nose that came later as slang evolved.

Why Bigfoot Is Called a “Booger” in the South

In many parts of the rural American South and Appalachia, “booger” became a catch-all word for any frightening, mysterious creature — ghosts, haints, wild men, or monsters lurking in the woods. So when early reports of a hairy, man-like creature began circulating (especially before the word Bigfoot became popular in the late 1950s), locals already had a name for such a being “the Booger.”

Some regions have specific versions, like:

  • “Booger Man” in North Carolina, Tennessee, and Alabama

  • “Boogerman” Swamp in Mississippi

  • “Booger Hollow” (a real place name used in several Southern states)

People would say things like:

“Don’t go out after dark, the booger’ will get you.”

This was part cautionary tale, part folklore blending fear of the unknown with local storytelling traditions.

Summary

  • Origin: From old English bogey = ghost or hobgoblin.

  • Meaning in the South: A general term for any scary or supernatural creature.

  • Connection to Bigfoot: Early Southern sightings of a tall, hairy “wild man” were called “boogers” long before Bigfoot became the standard name.

So when you hear a Southerner say “the Booger’s out in them woods,” it’s their regional version of saying “Bigfoot’s out there.”

Examples

The Flintville Booger (Tennessee)

  • Location: Lincoln County, Tennessee (near Flintville)

  • Era: 1930s–1950s

  • Story: Locals reported a large, hairy, man-shaped creature haunting the woods outside town. It was blamed for killing livestock, throwing rocks, and scaring travelers on back roads at night.

  • Description: About 7 feet tall, covered in brown hair, glowing red eyes, and a foul odor — classic Bigfoot-like details.

  • Legacy: The legend became so embedded in local lore that older residents still refer to “that Booger down Flintville way.” Some researchers connect it to early Southern Bigfoot sightings before the term “Bigfoot” existed.

The Blount County Booger (Alabama)

  • Location: Northern Alabama foothills of the Appalachians

  • Story: Throughout the early 1900s, people claimed a “Booger Man” lurked along rural roads, stalking hunters and frightening children. One story tells of a group of men who chased a tall, hairy figure only to have it vanish into thin air.

  • Cultural Role: The “Booger Man” became a cautionary tale parents used — “Don’t go past the creek after dark or the Booger’ll get you.”

The Chickasaw County Booger Man (Mississippi)

  • Location: Near Houlka, Mississippi

  • Era: Mid-20th century

  • Reports: Locals described a shaggy, bipedal beast seen crossing roads at night or lurking around barns. In some versions, the creature screamed like a woman.

  • Interpretation: Some considered it a ghost, others a wild man; today, many Bigfoot researchers cite it as part of Mississippi’s long history of “booger” sightings.

The Boogerman of Marion, North Carolina

  • Location: Marion, in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains

  • Story: In the 1940s–50s, residents reported a hairy creature raiding chicken coops and cornfields. One farmer said the “Boogerman” left enormous barefoot tracks behind his barn.

  • Note: North Carolina mountain folklore has dozens of “booger” tales — they were as much ghost stories as monster sightings, told around campfires to keep kids close to home at night.

Booger Hollow (Arkansas)

  • Location: Pope County, Arkansas (near Dover)

  • Legend: The name itself comes from local tales of a “Booger” that haunted the woods there — sometimes described as a ghostly man, other times a hairy creature.

  • Fun Fact: The area later became a quirky roadside attraction, but locals insist the name traces back to genuine “booger” encounters from the 1800s.

The Pascagoula River “Booger” (Mississippi Gulf Region)

  • Reports: Fishermen and hunters have long spoken of eerie screams and heavy footsteps in the marshes along the Pascagoula River. Some say it’s a swamp-dwelling “Booger,” others link it to the “Skunk Ape,” the Southern version of Bigfoot.

  • Features: Sulfur smell, red eyes, and footprints found in the mudbanks.

The Tennessee “Booger Lights”

  • Location: Near Columbia, Tennessee

  • Twist: In this version, “Booger” refers to a ghostly light phenomenon — glowing orbs that chase cars or wanderers. Locals said they were spirits or “booger lights.” Though not a Bigfoot, it shows how “booger” once meant any supernatural fright in the South.

Before Bigfoot became the national name, “Booger” was the Southern word for any wild, hairy, or supernatural thing that scared people in the night.
In Appalachia, there are also “Booger Dances” — old Cherokee and mountain folk rituals meant to scare away evil spirits — showing how deeply that word connects to the region’s ghost and monster lore.

The Confessionals writes “What if the battle for your identity began before you could even understand what was happening? In this raw conversation, Tailah exposes how early rejection and seemingly harmless spiritual curiosity can open doors to something much darker.

The story winds through second-heaven warfare, violent deliverance moments, and the slow, painful work of inner healing. When Tailah shares how witchcraft posed as self-discovery and how freedom came piece by piece, eerie coincidences begin to look more like a calculated plan. By the end, you’ll be asking what unseen forces might still be shaping your own life.”

A listener writes “I’m from the Pacific Northwest, Oregon and I would always go with my buddy out picking cones. Hemlock, cedar and Doug fir cones. We would also go looking for Chantrelle mushrooms that we would sell to get extra money.

We’re always out in the woods. one time him, his wife, their son and I Were going up spirit Mountain near the casino and his wife had to get out and use the restroom. We’re waiting in the van as she comes running back to the van, jumps in the passenger seat, locks the door and asks where’s Mike at? I was sitting behind the driver side like I’m right here. She’s like no you’re not! How’d you get back in the van? I didn’t get out . she says somebody just crossed the road and I’m like telling them to let me out cause I couldn’t open the sliding Van door from the inside. Buddy let me out and we went and explored for a bit and never heard anything.

It was really weird as she’s a non-believer in anything like that And I don’t have the best posture. I guess you’d say. I’m 6 foot with long arms, big hands total crow magnum look to me and the posture of a Sasquatch so for her to ask where I was and say, somebody just crossed the road. We all make fun of it because who else walks like me besides a big foot or wha, really cool. Another incident that happened up on spirit mountain as well. Me and a girlfriend were up there at Southlake. There’s absolutely nobody up there. This is back in 1999 maybe 2000.

I started the campfire as it was getting dark and I went to go do a little night fishing. It was probably about 100 yards away or so from Camp. I had a bobber on and could barely see the float when all of a sudden, about 10 feet to my left, what I thought was a fish jump. I got excited thinking like there’s some fish in here! then I thought maybe it’s a beaver. A couple minutes later I realize it wasn’t a fish or a beaver. There is another big splash only 6 feet to my left. It made the sound of a rock splashing into the water. I decided it was time for me to head to to camp. I didn’t say anything to my girlfriend. I just got into the tent and was thinking about what that might’ve been. Then I hear her talking. That’s when I shouted from the tent.

Who are you talking to? She responded where are you? I was like I’m in the tent. No you’re not you’re standing right next to me. I told her no I’m in the tent. She came running after that. We’re wondering who it was she was talking to. She swore she saw me next to her. We just kind of hung out in the tent and things kept hitting the top of the tent, no big rocks or anything and she was scared asking what is that? To ease her mind I just said they’re leaves falling. I don’t remember how the rest of the night went but I think we both just ended up falling asleep and nothing else happened that night.

Must’ve been adrenaline crash or something cause we were convincing each other that it was a ghost yet we still stayed and I never told her about the rock incident while I was fishing. We did get up and leave the next morning.”

Jim writes “For five years I lived on Malcolm Island which is off of the northern part of Vancouver Island In 2022 in June of that year I was with my girlfriend at the time travelling from Nanaimo British Columbia north towards my 5 acre property on Malcolm Island

It’s a long drive north about six hours

I picked her up from the Ferry terminal at approximately 9 PM. She had caught A ferry from Vancouver after work on Friday. And the plan was to go up that night sleep in the vehicle and then make our way on the first ferry over in the morning so that we could spend the weekend together on Malcolm Island.

I was tired and it was getting late so we pulled over into this little tiny nature interpretive area. Not really a park but something that a logging company created after they cleared the area really not much more than a turn around big enough for maybe 5 6 cars with a small path and some signs along the river but it’s exactly where the old growth and the cut are side-by-side

I really don’t think anybody uses it and certainly no one is there at night. It was located in this place called SAYWARD

Which is also not much really just a place to stop on the highway. Interesting note though Tom SEWIT I think is his name or DEWIT. Was a guest you had on the show. And his artwork is on this long house at the gas station rest area

Anyway. We probably pulled into this little nature trail parking area to sleep for the night at 1 AM

I have a converted UPS truck. So really only the front windows let in any light and then everything else is just steel panels

If you’re in the back you really can’t see what’s going on outside and you can’t see what’s going on inside at all

Anyway we park we kind of chill out for a minute and one thing leads to another and we are starting to get intimate because it’s been a while since we’ve seen each other she lives in the city

So this is going on probably it’s almost 3 in the morning at this point definitely after 2 AM

And the vehicle is rocking and the springs are noisy and we are noisy

Lol

And this is really my focus. But then

The whole back section of the vehicle pretty much drops to the ground

And a little bit sideways

To the point where we are almost about to fall off of this little bed back there which runs front to back on one side on the left

I was initially really confused because I thought maybe our motion did it

But then it was obvious that something was back there you could feel it back there

There’s a heavy duty 2 foot wide mesh steel step off the back loading area it runs the whole width

And something was clearly on that that was really fucking heavy on the back right corner

Natalie froze

And so did I but I was really confused

My brain couldn’t understand if this was a bear possibly. There are pretty big black bear up there and if you go more far north there are grizzly on the mainland but not really on the island

I weigh over 200 pounds and when I step on the back it shifts a little bit but not much. This was something super heavy it wasn’t rocking on it like a bear it was just standing there

The next part probably lasted 30 seconds but it felt like five minutes

The whole back of the vehicle is just stuck in this position

And my mind is just trying to check all the boxes of what is going on I’m even wondering did we Roll backwards into some mud or something like because I had it in neutral by accident. But it’s an automatic so not really possible… my mind is just trying to understand what the fuck is going on

We are both naked so this is not a good situation

I’m trying to decide what to do next and then whatever is back there must have stepped off

The whole vehicle really popped up

Fast and hard

And then it kind of shook for a minute like bouncing and came to a rest into a normal orientation

The steel box springs underneath was making a bunch of noise both times before and after when this is happening so I could not really hear anything come or go

We sort of stayed there frozen for a minute wondering if it was gonna come back or what the fuck that was
I eventually put on some clothes and went to the front and turned the vehicle on

And then I drove around the circular roundabout a couple of times shining my lights around and I couldn’t see anything. It was dry ground so little chance to see anything anyway

Natalie did not want to stay there and I was much too awake at that point so I just drove most of the rest of the way to Port McNeil to wait for the ferry in the morning while she slept in the back

Something that is I think interesting and possibly related to what happens next is that at the time that this all took place the muffler on my truck was broken so it was really loud with this big Ford V8 engine especially if you were trying to climb a hill or accelerate rapidly

But no matter what it was too loud and really expensive to fix. This vehicle it was already 19 years old at the time so I just lived with it. But this was a distinct sounding truck

Monday afternoon I drive her back and she catches the 7 PM ferry, I eat something and I turn right back around because I like to live in the bush. I’ve spent most of my life in the bush. Unlike many of your guests though my time in the forest has been because of old growth logging protest and activism mostly. But I have lived off grid in small cabins in the back wood most of my adult life

I never saw anything approaching a Bigfoot. And although I thought it was interesting. After nearly 15 years of more or less living in the woods in various ways I still hadn’t even seen a cougar. So I never dismissed it either

Anyway I don’t like the city so after dropping her off at the ferry the roads are empty that time of night. And I just decided to go again most of the way back

This time I parked just outside of Campbell River and slept for a few hours starting at around 10:30 p.m.

When I woke up it was probably 2 AM

I like to drive when the roads are empty. So I stopped at the 24 hour gas station got a coffee and started driving

This time I was coming through SAYWARD just after four in the morning trying to catch the 545 ferry from Port McNeil

It’s still dark

I come past the gas station which is essentially the towns entrance on the highway the same place where that artwork from your former guest is.

And then I start to come up and out of the valley beginning the climb into the mountain pass between this area and where I’m headed

The road is steeply dropping off to the left I’m in the northbound lane on the right and to my right is essentially blasted out rockwall for the most part extremely close to the Side of the vehicle

It’s a narrow road and it more or less hugs mountains for about 35 km

But as you are coming up and out of the valley off to your left you can see this massive unbroken wilderness stretching for more than 4000 km² there’s a guard rail and then an open Vista

As I come up and out of the valley I am going to estimate I am maybe 500 feet up from Valley level and I’m going extra slow because of my muffler situation

And I’m also hitting the gas hard

Part of the reason I like to drive when the roads are empty is because how obnoxious my vehicle is and how slow it can be

Anyway I’m going up. I’m focusing straight ahead because the road is twisty

And then from my left, which still does not make any sense to me because it’s a very significant Drop off on the left going down many hundreds of feet of pitched Forest

From my left this absolutely enormous dirty white/Grey thing comes sailing over the guard rail so fast

So fast. So smooth. So fast

I am maybe doing 60 km an hour very slowly increasing in speed as I fight with the hill and the muffler so not super fast

But still this thing came close enough to the front of my vehicle that as it went past my vehicle rocked kind of the way that your car shakes when a big rig goes by you

It just launched from the left and looked as though to me it totally cleared the left-hand lane I don’t know if it kicked itself off of the guard rail or if it cleared the guard rail as well but it just came sailing from the left

Directly in front of the vehicle.

If you can picture a UPS truck they have big square windows that are very high off the ground

My face because I measured later is almost 8.5 feet off the ground Close to 9 feet as I’m driving and sitting. There are two stairs that come up to the driver seat from the ground and then there’s the vehicle lift

What I saw was essentially a side profile

From about the armpit down and about the thigh up

That’s how big it was and that’s how close it was when it crossed in front of me

It had one arm on the left side the far side from me out and the right arm was sort of back and down off of the torso

And you could tell that it had just jumped because also one leg was sort of forward and the other was back like it had been running and jumped

I have a LED bar on the front bumper of the truck and this thing was definitely White gray but dirty like a dirty polar bear

And I had the full 7 foot interior height model which is about 13 feet tall total. And this thing was not much shorter.

It wasn’t super High off the ground but it was mid air essentially sailing in front of the vehicle in one motion

So let’s say conservatively it was a foot off the ground maybe a foot and a half from the bottom of its feet. I was still just looking at his shoulder and mid torso top of the thighs

Yes it was a he

I saw hair

I saw muscle definition

You could see things in the hair like twigs or parts where it wasn’t really even

It got to basically two just before it cleared the vehicle and I thought I was gonna hit it with my front right bumper on its butt maybe.

It was so fast I didn’t even get a chance to break at this point or even really steer to correct. There’s not much room to go anywhere on the climb just the two lanes

And then it continued and cleared the small little ditch on the right and essentially grabbed onto like a 60° grade hillside made mostly of blasted rock and just kept going up

I did stop but maybe 100 m further down

And then I was just in the middle of the road idling trying to look out my right mirror but it was gone

There’s no way to turn around or go back because you’re on the mountainside climbing and the next pull off was several hundred metres maybe even more than a kilometre or more

And after being stopped on this twisty road for like one minute I realized this is definitely not safe and I proceeded on

Anyway I don’t know if one is related to the other but I do wonder if it Heard my vehicle the first time. Stepped on the back because it was interested in the sex and then later when it again heard it coming back through the same area it decided to run across the road

Why it would do that I don’t know

But whatever stepped on the back the first night was really heavy. And this thing was really big

Maybe that’s why my mind is connecting it

I wonder if it’s possible that it lives in an around this hundred person populated town and the connected forest. In your show you hear a lot that they’re curious about people and maybe they eat garbage and other things.

I have been reluctant to send you this message for several years. But I’ve been a longtime fan of your show.”

A listener writes “I had something happen to me  when I was 15 I have only shared the moment with a few friends through the years only to be met with jokes and ridicule that has faded over time.

Your platform made me realize I am not an exclusive individual but part of a community of others who might as well be social misfits to the rest of the world. I have tried for all these years to cope with the encounter and even block it out. I just recently told my dad what happened all those years ago and he just listened. I could have said more but the subject changed to work stuff.

I am not sure if he might had had an encounter (to which he denied) or just respectfully dismissed the current conversation. My encounter was not a dramatic build up and last a considerable amount of time. It was simple while sitting in a homemade tree stand and being excited for my first year of hunting I was approached by something that stopped and looked at me then ran off. It was just before sun set and my father told me to stay put until he came and got me. I wanted out so bad. I wished for my dad to come down out of his tree stand but he was a hunt till the light is gone person. Maybe I could get down and run back to the truck but I did do as I was told and I was not going to get down, not with whatever I saw out in those woods.

Now I could see my father up over the ridge in his tree stand. His silhouette very prominent as the sun was setting. I was wishing he was going to get down soon. When he final did he walked down to me and asked me what I was waiting for. I was so hesitant about getting down. I finally climbed down and walked faster than he did back to the truck. He asked me what was wrong, I don’t remember my excuse.

The rides home where always full of hunting stories and possibilities but that night I did not talk about the black creature I saw with the big black eyes. That encounter lasted a whole 3 minutes maybe but felt like we shared that moment for an hour. I continued to hunt but very little the rest of that season. My father would not let me relocate so I would sit and stare at that hill side for hours the rest of that bow season asking my dad to make sure we could leave while it was still daylight. This happened in upstate NY in 1985. There is so much more to this as I sit and write this to you.”

Bob Gymlan writes “This video covers all of the known shark attacks of 2015 (and many more.) I try to use the attacks covered in this video to illustrate some myths and misconceptions about these amazing, fantastic, incredible, and terrible sea beasts.

This video also gets into the misleading statistics surrounding shark attacks, that make these events seem more isolated than they really are.

On a different note, I really really really really struggled with this video. Maybe that’s why it took me six years, but I figured it was time to just finish one way or another.”

Fatal Shark Attacks & What They’re Not Telling You

Spoke to Drew and he has agreed to come on the show. A listener writes “I’m 56 years old and an avid deer hunter with 39 years of hunting experience to date. I’ve had several experiences in the woods leading up to my day time sighting on my hunting club in SC . My youngest son turned me on to your podcast. I feel compelled to share my experiences.”
