The Puyallup Screamer is a Washington-state cryptid known not for its appearance, but for its voice—a series of piercing, humanlike screams that reverberate through the forests around Puyallup, roughly 35 miles south of Seattle. These chilling vocalizations are most often reported in the dense woodlands along the Puyallup River, across South Hill, and throughout the foothills that lead into the Cascade Mountains.

For nearly five decades, an unidentified source has produced these intense, unmistakably human-sounding cries. Witnesses have ranged from homeowners and hikers to hunters, loggers, and even responding law enforcement officers.

Yet despite numerous investigations and attempted wildlife identifications, the true origin of the Puyallup Screamer’s haunting calls remains entirely unknown.

Many witnesses said “It’s nothing like an animal I’ve ever heard living around here”

The sounds became so frequent that law enforcement occasionally investigated, assuming they were human distress calls, only to find nothing.

Classification: Unidentified Vocalizing Entity
Region: Puyallup River Valley, South Hill, McMillin, Orting, WA

From late summer into early winter, witnesses have reported a noticeable uptick in activity, including:

  • Deep, heavy footfalls heard in wooded areas

  • Occasional sightings of a tall, dark figure lingering at the edge of tree lines

  • Unusual agitation among livestock, noted across multiple accounts

The Confessionals writes “An FBI Agent goes undercover inside America’s darkest pagan cults… and discovers something far more sinister than criminal activity. Rituals. Blood offerings. Blóts. Pagan ceremonies that weren’t just symbolic, something was responding.

In this exclusive interview, a retired federal agent, Scott Payne, recounts the supernatural encounters he experienced while infiltrating extremist groups who blended ideology with occult ritual. What started as an investigation into domestic terror slowly revealed a deeper war, one not fought with weapons, but with spirits, influence, and ancient forces still active today.

Inside these pagan rituals, the Kingdom of Darkness wasn’t just present… it looked back.
If you’re interested in the supernatural world behind real investigations, spiritual warfare, cults, rituals, and the hidden battle influencing culture today, this is an episode you won’t forget.”

The Confessionals: The Pagan Rituals an FBI Agent Saw

A listener writes “I’m writing from I’m writing from Dublin, Ireland.  I’ve been listening to your show on YouTube a lot lately, and what always grabs my attention are the stories involving balls of light, those orbs your listeners describe. I wanted to share my own experience, one that has stayed with me for nearly 30 years.

My story goes back to when I was about 14 years old. My best friend and I were standing at the end of our street around 10:30 PM, just hanging out. I noticed a strange ball of white light. At first, I assumed it was a new lamp post or a floodlight positioned high above the Nestlé chocolate factory, which was roughly 250–300 meters away from where we were standing. We couldn’t actually see the factory from our vantage point, but based on the direction and height, that’s where I believed the light was.

I’m from Tallaght, a large built‑up suburb full of houses, business parks, industrial estates, a big shopping centre, a major hospital, and countless floodlights scattered everywhere. But this ball of light immediately stood out. It was a perfect round orb, brilliant white, and unlike anything I had ever seen. The best way I can describe it is like looking into a kaleidoscope those swirling shard‑like pixels but all shimmering in pure white and contained perfectly within the orb.

I pointed it out to my friend. As we discussed what it might be, the orb suddenly rose straight into the air to about the height of a five‑story building. It now had our full attention.

It hovered there for a minute or two, completely still, before slowly moving closer. It wasn’t coming directly toward us, more toward our eleven o’clock position. It stopped again roughly above a row of bungalows one block over, near the edge of our estate that runs parallel to the motorway. After another short pause, it began moving again and positioned itself directly above us at around the height of a four‑story building. We walked toward it as it moved, and once it was overhead, I didn’t take my eyes off it.

What happened next is something I’ve never heard anyone else describe.

As we looked straight up, a teardrop‑shaped form made of the same swirling, brilliant white light slowly emerged from the right side of the orb. The wider end of the teardrop came out first. On the underside of the shape was a V‑shaped notch cut at an angle. It drifted away from the orb slowly and steadily… and then suddenly shot off like a tracer round. I saw it streak away for just a fraction of a second before it vanished.

We immediately refocused on the orb, which hadn’t changed or reacted in any way. About five minutes later, it began moving left, back toward the direction where we first spotted it, and we followed.

It led us to the edge of our housing estate where an eight‑foot wall bordered a field. We climbed onto the wall and watched as the orb drifted slowly in the direction of Tallaght Hospital, which sits beside the large shopping centre known as The Square. I noticed people at the bus shelter outside the centre laughing, talking, clearly heading for a night out. None of them seemed to notice the orb at all.

We watched it travel toward the hospital’s main entrance until it disappeared from view.

The encounter lasted at least 20 minutes from beginning to end. The area has changed drastically since then the field is now apartment blocks, and the street layout is very different. The orb never cast light on anything around it, but it was a brilliant, shimmering white. A few of your callers have described something almost identical, which is the first time since that night that I’ve heard anyone else describe what we saw.

No one ever mentions the teardrop, though. That detail has always stood out to both of us. Back then there was no internet, no mobile phones, and certainly no drones.

Neither my friend nor I can explain what we saw. After all these years, we both remember it exactly the same way. If he hadn’t been with me that night, I probably would’ve chalked it up to a dream or my imagination, but we both witnessed it clearly.

Hearing some of your listeners describe similar encounters is the first time in decades I’ve felt that someone else might have seen the same thing. Thank you for what you do. Every now and then my friend and I still talk about that night. It’s something I will never forget.

The Almas are one of the most enduring “wild human” legends of Central Asia and the Caucasus Mountains especially in Russia, Mongolia, and the former Soviet regions. Unlike the North American Bigfoot, Almas are usually described as more humanlike, shorter, and more primitive, often thought of as a remnant hominid rather than a giant ape.

What Are the Almas?

Witnesses describe the Almas as 5 to 6 feet tall, covered in reddish-brown or dark hair, with flat noses, wide mouths, and distinctly humanlike proportions. They’re said to have long arms, though not the exaggerated arm length often attributed to Bigfoot. Most sightings report the creatures walking upright, fully bipedal, yet also capable of dropping to all fours when moving quickly or navigating rough terrain.

Encounters are concentrated in the Altai Mountains, the Caucasus, Kabardino-Balkaria, Dagestan, and across Mongolia. Many Soviet-era researchers believed the Almas might represent a surviving hominid species possibly something similar to Homo erectus or a relict Neanderthal-type population that persisted far longer than science currently acknowledges.

The Zana Case (Abkhazia, 19th Century)

Perhaps the most well-known Almasty account centers on Zana, a wild, hair-covered woman said to have been captured in the late 1800s near the village of Tkhina in Abkhazia. Witnesses described her as immensely strong, unable to speak, and covered head-to-toe in reddish hair. According to local accounts, Zana lived among the villagers for decades and even bore several children with local men. Her children appeared fully human but were noted for their unusual strength and hardiness.

In the 20th century, Soviet researchers interviewed Zana’s descendants and examined graves believed to be connected to her story. Whether the tale is rooted in fact or folklore, the Zana case remains one of the most iconic and debated pieces of the Almas legend.

The 1941 Red Army Soldier Encounter – Russian Caucasus

According to C. G. Koffmann’s paper The Almasty – Yeti of the Caucasus, a report exists of an unusual sighting during the winter of 1941 in Daghestan. A military patrol reportedly intercepted a male creature of human appearance, covered in thick hair. At first, they assumed it was an escaped prisoner, but the closer they looked, the stranger it became, the figure was barefoot, naked, and completely covered in long hair, with arms that swung noticeably low as it ran.

Examination by a Soviet Military Doctor

The report further states that Lieutenant Colonel V. S. Karapetian, a medical officer, was summoned to examine the creature. The examination reportedly took place in a shed, as it “could not be kept in a warm room… He had sweated… so profusely” that a cooler environment was necessary. The creature was described as approximately 5’9″ tall, with a human-like build, bare feet, and dark brown hair around 2–3 inches long covering its chest, back, and shoulders, while its palms and soles remained hairless. Karapetian allegedly remarked that the creature’s eyes “were dull and empty, the eyes of an animal,” giving it an appearance that was “like an animal and nothing more.”

It was said that the creature was eventually shot, though the circumstances and details remain unverified. Soviet-era documents note that this incident wasn’t isolated; border guards throughout the region reported similar sightings during the war.

The 1950s–1960s Kabardino-Balkaria Sightings

During the 1950s and 60s, Kabardino-Balkaria in the Caucasus emerged as a hotspot for Almasty reports. Locals and shepherds described humanlike creatures standing 5–6 feet tall, covered in thick hair “like a bear, but shaped like a person.” Witnesses often saw them watching from rocky outcrops, quietly observing herders, or foraging collecting berries or digging for roots.

One notable 1963 report recounts two Almasty walking along a ridge at dusk. The witness later commented that they appeared “too upright and too human to be bears,” leaving a lasting impression of a creature both wild and eerily human.

The 1965 Mongolian Expedition (Kozlov & Porshnev)

In 1965, Soviet scientists Pyotr Kozlov and Boris Porshnev set out to investigate numerous Almasty reports across Mongolia. One of the most striking accounts came from a nomadic herder:

One night, something reportedly shook his yurt, startling him awake. Stepping outside, he saw a hairy, bipedal figure crouched near his horses. The creature fled on two legs, leaving behind humanlike footprints that were shorter and wider than a typical man’s.

Despite collecting detailed testimonies, the expedition found no physical evidence, leaving the sighting as mysterious as it was chilling.

1980s Kavkaz Border Guard Incidents

During the 1980s, Soviet border posts along the Georgian–Russian border reported a series of unsettling encounters. Guards described tall, naked, hair-covered figures approaching outbuildings under the cover of night, sometimes raiding gardens or livestock feed.

On one occasion, soldiers using spotlights observed a large male Almasty shielding a smaller one before both vanished up a steep slope at remarkable speed. Witnesses consistently described them as “hairy people, not animals.”

These reports were considered credible enough to be recorded in official military logs, underscoring the seriousness with which the Soviets treated these mysterious sightings.

The 1990 Lagodekhi National Park Encounter (Georgia)

While conducting fieldwork in Lagodekhi National Park, a biologist reportedly observed a female Almasty with a young offspring. Both creatures were quietly foraging for insects under stones when the mother suddenly noticed him. She let out a short, sharp warning call, and both vanished silently into the dense brush.

The witness was adamant that the creatures were not bears, emphasizing their humanlike faces and body proportions, making the encounter both eerie and unforgettable.

In 2013, a hunter reported a close-range encounter with a brown-haired, humanlike figure standing quietly by a river before slipping silently into the forest. Unlike the towering 8–10 foot North American Sasquatch, Almas are generally:

  • Much more humanlike in appearance
  • Smaller, typically 5–6 feet tall
  • Occasionally observed in family groups
  • Reportedly capable of primitive tool use, according to local accounts
  • Often seen not as monsters, but as a rough, ancient people

Because of these traits, many researchers consider the Almas the most hominid-like wildman legend in the world.

The Prime Hook Swamp Creature, often called the “Swamp Ape” of Delaware, was reportedly sighted from the 1970s through the 1990s in the Prime Hook National Wildlife Refuge in Sussex County, Delaware.

Eyewitnesses typically describe the creature as 7 to 9 feet tall, muscular, and broad-shouldered, often standing upright and walking bipedally. Its dark brown to black fur is sometimes matted, and its head is rounded and ape-like, occasionally featuring a pronounced brow ridge. Some reports even mention a strong, swamp-like odor, reminiscent of Florida’s Skunk Ape.

According to observers, the creature moves quickly and silently through swampy terrain, has been seen wading through water, and sometimes climbing low trees. Large, human-like footprints in some cases up to 18 inches long  have been found in muddy areas of the swamp. Witnesses also report that the creature produces howling, screeching, or grunting vocalizations during the night.

1970s Reports

Local hunters and fishermen reported seeing a large, ape-like creature moving near Prime Hook Creek. These early reports were sporadic but persistent.

1980s–1990s

Sightings of the Prime Hook Swamp Creature became more frequent as additional people explored the refuge. One fisherman reported a 7-foot-tall, dark creature stalking his boat for several minutes before vanishing into the reeds. Campers have described large footprints and strange nocturnal noises, sometimes accompanied by the odor of rotting vegetation, while hunters have observed a large, upright creature running across open marshes.

Although it is not as widely known as Florida’s Skunk Ape or the Beast of Bladenboro, the Prime Hook Swamp Creature has a dedicated following among cryptid enthusiasts. Local wildlife officials note that many reports are likely misidentifications such as black bears, wild boars, or deer but some sightings remain unexplained.

Many cryptid researchers suggest that the Prime Hook Swamp Creature may represent a small East Coast population of Bigfoot-like beings. It shares several characteristics with Bigfoot and the Skunk Ape, yet it is uniquely associated with the marsh and swamp habitats of Delaware. While no physical evidence has ever been confirmed, sporadic eyewitness accounts continue to emerge, keeping the legend alive.

One of the more unusual reports occurred in July 2007, when a woman named Helen J. was driving on Broadkill Road, near the Prime Hook National Wildlife Refuge, around dusk with her daughter. They spotted a small creature standing at the edge of the swamp by the side of the road.

The creature was described as 2.5 to 3 feet tall, with long legs, a tan body, a flat, pug-like face, small ears, and a long tail.

Curious, Helen asked around locally and learned from a Broadkill Beach store owner that she and her father had seen a similar creature years earlier while dirt biking in the area. When Helen inquired at the Prime Hook visitor center, staff admitted they had no explanation for the creature.

Helen also reported that, in a later year, her other daughter and a friend encountered a very similar creature in the same swampy area this time at night as it ran across the road in front of their car.

The Beast of Bladenboro is a really fascinating cryptid / predator case from Bladenboro, North Carolina. The small town of Bladenboro seems an unlikely setting for one of America’s most chilling cryptid tales. In the early 1950s, Bladenboro was the kind of place where everyone knew each other, farms stretched for miles, and the loudest nighttime sounds came from frogs, crickets, or the occasional hoot of an owl.

That quiet ended abruptly in the winter of 1953–1954, when something began killing animals in a manner so brutal and so bizarre that residents believed a supernatural predator was on the loose. The newspapers called it The Beast of Bladenboro, and over seventy years later, its legend still grips the imagination.

On the night of December 29, Mrs. C.E. Kinlaw, a Bladenboro resident, heard a sound outside her home that froze her in place. She later told reporters it was “like a woman screaming and a panther’s cry all at once.” The noise seemed to come from the swampy thicket just beyond her yard. When she told her husband, he dismissed it at first  until other neighbors reported hearing the same sound in the nights that followed.

On December 31, two dogs belonging to a local man named Johnnie Vause were found dead. Their bodies bore strange marks: skulls crushed, ears chewed, and blood seemingly drained. Local police chief Roy Fores examined the remains and declared he had never seen anything like it. The first week of January 1954 turned fear into full-blown panic.

January 2nd, 1954
More reports came in of dead dogs, all killed in the same manner, their skulls crushed and blood missing. At least five dogs were found over these two days. Residents began locking their pets indoors at night.

January 3rd, 1954
A woman named Mrs. George Williamson claimed she saw the Beast behind her house. She described it as “about 90 to 100 pounds, resembling a panther, with a long tail and a face like a cat.” Later that same day, another resident, Luther Davis, found a half-grown dog killed and dragged into the woods.

Chief Fores told the press that the creature was likely a large bobcat or panther but even he admitted the wounds were unusual.

January 4th, 1954
The story broke in local newspapers. Headlines in the Bladen Journal and Fayetteville Observer used the term “Beast” for the first time. Reporters arrived in town, interviewing witnesses and photographing the crime scenes.

By January 5, word had spread beyond North Carolina. Newspapers in South Carolina, Virginia, and Georgia picked up the story, and soon hunters began pouring into Bladenboro.

The hunting parties were a mix of local men and curious thrill-seekers from out of state. They brought rifles, shotguns, pistols and even hounds to track the scent. At one point, as many as 500 armed hunters were roaming the swamps and woods, some forming organized search lines.

One hunter claimed to have spotted the Beast crouched in a clearing. He said it hissed and growled before darting away at an unnatural speed. Another group reported finding tracks about the size of a silver dollar, but they disappeared in the sandy soil.

During those first two weeks of January, Bladenboro lived in a state of siege. Parents forbade their children from walking to school alone. Farmers shut their barn doors tight before sundown. People kept their shotguns loaded and by the door. Residents reported hearing strange screams in the night, sometimes accompanied by the sound of something heavy moving through the brush.

One man described hearing “a blood-chilling cry, like a baby and a woman both screaming together.” The sound reportedly echoed through the pines and made even the hunting dogs whimper. The last major sighting during the original wave came around January 13, 1954, when a man named Spurgeon Davis claimed to have encountered the creature at close range. He described it as “about three feet long, with a bushy tail, weighing about 80 pounds, and looking like a bobcat but much bigger.”

Shortly afterward, the attacks stopped. There were no more dead dogs or goats, no more strange cries at night. Just as suddenly as it had appeared, the Beast was gone.

Theories — Natural, Exotic, and Supernatural

Theory 1: A Big Cat
The most logical explanation is that the Beast was a cougar or large bobcat. Cougars were thought extinct in the eastern U.S. by the 20th century, but sporadic sightings have been reported for decades. The paw prints, feline-like appearance, and strength all fit except for the alleged “blood draining.”

Theory 2: An Escaped Exotic
Some suggest the Beast may have been a leopard, jaguarundi, or other exotic feline that escaped from captivity. In the 1950s, laws regulating exotic pets were lax, and roadside menageries were common.

Theory 3: A Canine Predator
Another idea is that the Beast was a wolf, wolf-dog hybrid, or unusually large feral dog. However, the way the kills were carried out particularly the crushed skulls is more consistent with big cats.

Theory 4: A Vampire-like Cryptid
The strangest detail is the blood-draining claim. This has led to comparisons with the Chupacabra, a cryptid from Latin America known for livestock attacks. Could the Beast be a regional variation?

Theory 5: Mass Hysteria
Some folklorists believe the Beast may have been an ordinary predator  a bobcat, coyote, or even several animals magnified by rumor, fear, and sensationalist reporting. Once the “blood-sucking monster” narrative took hold, every unexplained noise or shadow became evidence.

Though the 1954 wave was the most famous, reports never completely stopped.

1970s: Farmers in Bladen and Columbus Counties reported mysterious livestock killings.

2004: A woman claimed to have seen a cougar-sized feline cross the road near Bladenboro.

2014: Several goats were found dead, drained of blood. Locals immediately revived talk of the Beast’s return.

2020s: Occasional reports still surface of large cat-like animals in the region, though none have been proven.

The Skunk Ape is Florida’s version of Bigfoot but there are some important historical, cultural, and environmental reasons why it’s called that, plus a lot of key reported sightings.

Why Is It Called the “Skunk Ape”?

The name “Skunk Ape” largely comes from the strong, unpleasant smell that many witnesses say accompanies the creature. Reports consistently describe odors like rotten eggs, sulfur, or a “wet dog” type of funk. According to many eyewitnesses, the smell can hit before the creature is ever seen. Some suggest the odor comes from natural oils in its fur or from swamp gases.

The Skunk Ape is most often reported in Florida’s swamps and wetlands (like the Everglades and Big Cypress National Preserve), which is a very different environment than the forested, mountainous regions where Bigfoot is usually reported. Its swampy habitat contributes to the idea that it’s adapted to humid, water-filled landscapes so the “swamp ape” label is also used.

Native American tribes in the region (especially the Seminole and Miccosukee) have long told stories of large, hairy swamp beings. As sightings became more common in the mid-20th century, Floridians adopted “Skunk Ape” (and “Swamp Ape”) rather than simply calling it “Bigfoot” making it part of their own regional cryptid tradition.

Stories about a large, hairy swamp creature go back centuries. As Florida was being settled and developed, swamp stories crept into pioneer tales. By the mid-20th century, modern Skunk Ape reports really began to pick up.

1957 — Two hunters claimed their camp was invaded by an ape-like creature.

This was among the earlier “mainstream” Skunk Ape reports that gained publicity. The hunters reported a creature that was “covered in reddish-brown hair.” They reported the creature was more than 7 feet tall.

It allegedly ransacked their camp, throwing gear around with such force that the hunters were shaken and frightened. According to one of the hunters: “throwing equipment around with incredible force. The eyes of the creature reportedly reflected light, like “the eyes of a cat” when illuminated by their campfire or light source.

The creature supposedly had a strong, foul smell. After causing chaos in their camp, the creature reportedly disappeared into the night, vanishing back into the swamp.

1974 — Law Enforcement Encounters

In Palm Beach County, Sheriff’s deputies Marvin Lewis and Ernie Milner reported being stalked in a grove by an ape-like creature. They said it walked bipedally, left large footprints, and they recovered hair snagged on a barbed-wire fence. The fence itself had been pushed down. The two deputies shot at the creature. After shooting, the creature reportedly grunted and fled “back into the swamp” into dense vegetation.

According to later interviews, Lewis in particular insisted the creature was “real.” The location is west of Lantana, in Palm Beach County, in or near grove/citrus areas, bordering or adjacent to swamp/everglades terrain.

Sources note that these years coincided with record drought and wildfires in the Everglades region, which may have driven wildlife (or whatever this creature was) closer to human-populated groves.

The hair was “sent for analysis,” but it “mysteriously disappeared” before conclusive results were made public. The deputies reported the creature was very large, possibly 7–12 feet tall, and had silver-gray to brown fur.

During that time, there was even a proposed bill in the Florida legislature (1977) to make it illegal to “take, possess, harm or molest anthropoid or humanoid animals.”

2000 — Dave Shealy Films Creature

Dave Shealy runs the Skunk Ape Research Headquarters near Ochopee in Big Cypress. He claims multiple personal encounters, and in 2000 filmed a creature moving through cypress swamp.

2000 — The Myakka Photos

In 2000, two photographs arrived anonymously at the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office. The sender claimed to be a woman who lived near the Myakka River. She said that a large ape-like creature had been coming into her backyard for three nights, stealing apples from her porch.

In her letter she speculated that it might even be an escaped orangutan. The photos show a hulking, dark, reddish-brown figure with long arms, glowing eyes (likely from camera flash), and dense “fur.”

Because of the location (Myakka River area) and appearance, cryptid fans dubbed these “the Myakka Skunk Ape photos.”

Sightings are still reported. According to the Florida Fish & Wildlife Commission there have been reports in counties like Collier (Naples), Citrus (Inverness), and Martin (Seawall’s Point). Many of these reports continue to emphasize the odor and “large hairy biped” descriptions.

In July 2001, a Boy Scout troop and their leaders from Southern California reported seeing a tall, dark, humanoid creature walking along a distant ridge in the Marble Mountains of Northern California. The encounter was filmed, and the video later became known as the “Marble Mountain Bigfoot Video.” It remains one of the most analyzed pieces of Bigfoot footage today.

The Marble Mountains Wilderness, near the Klamath National Forest, Siskiyou County, Northern California is extremely remote: dense forest, deep valleys, high-elevation ridges. Historically, this region has produced many Sasquatch reports.

The footage was taken by Jim “Bob” Padilla, a scoutmaster leading a Boy Scout backpacking trip. His troop, about 15 scouts and leaders were in the mountains on a multi-day hike. Before seeing the creature, the group encountered a large, elaborate stick structure near their campsite, A-frame–style shelter made of stacked logs and branches. It was roughly 6–7 feet tall and much larger and more complex than any survival shelter kids or typical hikers build.

No human tools or cut marks were found, Jim Padilla said several scouts felt uneasy about it. Padilla filmed the structure thoroughly, remarking that it did not look man-made in the normal sense.

That night, the scouts reported, strange screams in the distance, heavy movement in the brush and the sensation of being watched. They also reported rocks falling or being thrown nearby (according to later interviews). None of these were caught clearly on video, but the troop said multiple members experienced it.

Late morning and in clear sunlight, the troop was positioned across a valley, facing a ridge about ¾ mile to 1 mile away. Padilla zoomed in on a dark figure walking left-to-right across a slanted mountainside.

Features described by witnesses and seen in the footage:

  1. Fully upright bipedal posture
  2. Consistent dark coloring from head to foot
  3. Long, ground-covering strides
  4. Swinging arm movement
  5. Broad shoulder outline
  6. Appeared very tall — Padilla later estimated 6.5 to 7+ feet, based on tree and rock scale
  7. Did not appear to be wearing a pack or bright clothing like a hiker

Padilla tries to steady the camera while zooming in and out as one scout yells, “It’s walking like a man!” Padilla later said, it was tall, long arms and it had a very broad gait, these proportions were much different from a normal human silhouette at that distance.

The 2001 Marble Mountain sighting remains one of the most intriguing Bigfoot encounters ever recorded. While the video lacks the clarity to be conclusive, the circumstances, a large figure, remote ridge, multiple witnesses, strange shelter, and length of footage keep this sighting high on many researchers’ credibility lists.

Marble Mountain Bigfoot Sighting (2001)

Former Texas law-enforcement officer Matt Parrish uprooted his family and moved to Washington’s Olympic Peninsula—never imagining he would spend the next four and a half years living alongside something he once thought was a myth.

In this gripping interview, Matt recounts the night it all began: mysterious whistles at the window, massive footprints circling the house, objects hurled at the walls, and a Ring camera capture that changed everything.

A Flash of Beauty: Matt Parrish

Between November 1896 and Spring 1897, newspapers across the United States reported sightings of strange, cigar-shaped “airships” drifting or flying across the sky—decades before powered flight was officially invented.

This became known as the Great Airship Wave.

Beyond Bigfoot & Beyond: Rummaging Through Sasquatchery!

Last night I was telling the members because of being sick most of the week I would be replaying an episode for the public show. Most of you have not heard this encounter and it is one of my favorite witnesses.

John is from British Columbia. He works as a lineman and in 2006, just after first light, John was dropped off by helicopter on Tumbler ridge. From the high ground he saw what he thought was a bear but as he watched it, he realized it was not a bear. Than he saw another one, then what appeared to be smaller ones. John goes into details about what he saw and what they were doing.

After sometime of observing them the creatures started to get up and scan the ridgeline almost like they knew they were being watched.

John writes “Without a doubt in 2006 I watched a group of Sasquatch clear as day rolling rocks in a scree Field while working Seismic, a heli in only area. Not a doubt in my mind I watched for over 5 min easy a group or family of Sasquatch rolling rocks at the bottom edge of a scree field.
I reached out to your show in early days but didn’t want to sound crazy n bailed out. They were at best a half sport Field away. I was alone on what’s called in the seismic world “trouble shooting”. It was an hour after first light. Was dropped off by the helicopter at first light on a peak of a rolling mountain and was tasked with a line break locate with little info other than head down hill until you find line and reassess. I was equipped with a radio and gps.

Long story short with little to no info of the area other than than a fly over with the heli pilot of where the line was vs where I was dropped off I was blind. Wasn’t scared, wasn’t shook as I was experienced at this point. Radio on but volume on .1 of zero so I could hear my environment

One ish hour in to my downhill hike I came across the massive scree slides that I’d seen from the heli, as I traversed side hill in an attempt to not have to cross this huge slide using a clear game\deer trail that followed around the rim as the slide area narrowed I could hear in the narrowing slide edge constant almost man made rocks rolling. My senses were heightened as initially I thought it was the slide slowly moving or a grizzly bear rolling rocks as I had heard stories of prior.

I as silently as possible proceeded thinking I’d see nothing or a bear, radio ready in hand as protocol stated to immediately call in a bear so the helicopter pilots could come and push off the threat.

To my surprise after about 20 min of my most silent approach hearing the constant sound of rolling rocks I saw (at that moment) it. Immediately I thought bears but almost instantly I knew I wasn’t looking at a bear. Big downward facing head n shoulders, Breasts, long arms, long legs, hunched over, hand pinching things thumb to index like pinching bugs then to mouth.

As I’m staring at this hairy female where no humans have probably ever been I see another 2 small ones less noticeable in the rocks doing the same action. I watched for a solid 3 or 4 minutes knowing my LG chocolate phone would only snap a black blob on grey rocks. Then from the most narrow edge of the screen Field comes a an fn massive female, twice as big easy, same attributes but less athletic and more warn. Head as big as my chest. Bends over and same action, within 20 seconds I hear a small animal squeal and the big female has something in its hand and everyone of them popped up and looked but within one second a massive male (dick swinging) breaks the same area where the big female came from right up beside the big female and snatched the whatever rodent from her and immediately ate it. I couldn’t see what it was but he put it in his mouth.

Without a missed beat (Almost immediately) all three larger ones stood up tall n were scanning and sniffing, I pancaked in that moment, pressed my radio n said quietly bear bear bear which is taken very seriously. Within a minute a had a helicopter buzzing my area feet above the trees in a super aggressive manor I watched all 5 dispatch at the same time I heard the helicopter inbound. They headed down ish and I only thought to head back to the helipad. I ran but as quietly as I could. I made it back in about the same time it took me to get down. Once I was on the helicopter I told the pilot what I saw and his neck snapped towards me and said I fn knew it. I knew what I saw, you’re not crazy, we shouldn’t be here ect. Long story short after that everyone went out in groups.”

A listener writes “I’m in Missouri and thought I’d share my encounter. I’m not sure it’s “show worthy,” but if you’d like to consider it, I’d be more than happy to talk. What struck me the most was how many parallels there were to stories I’ve heard from others.

I don’t remember the exact date, but it was early fall, around 2022. South of Rolla, Missouri, there’s a place called Lane Spring. It’s a small park with camping and trout fishing. I was there with my regular camping buddy and both of our dogs. We picked a site right on Little Piney Creek, just above the spring.

We had finished dinner and were relaxing, waiting for the sun to go down so we could hike the trail to the spring in the dark. There was still a little light left when we suddenly heard crashing in the creek just below us. A group of four deer came bounding across the water to our side, only 15–20 yards away. They stopped dead, all of them staring back across the creek toward the direction they came from. They didn’t even acknowledge us.

What really threw us off was that neither of our dogs reacted. Both dogs are normally deer and critter aggressive. My Rottweiler, without fail, will chase deer every time. But they just lay there watching, no barking, no movement, nothing. It was like the deer and the dogs were locked in the same frozen state.

We got up and moved around the campsite, trying to break the spell, and still the deer didn’t budge. They never even looked at us. I tried coaxing my dog to chase them, and she didn’t react at all. It was baffling. By now it was fully dark, so I put on my headlamp and aimed it at the deer. Only then did they slowly turn and walk away, no running, no panic, just calm and deliberate.

We leashed up the dogs and started our hike along the trail, which runs only about three feet from the water. As soon as we started walking, there was a massive splash in the creek, extremely close to us. The terrain on our side is flat; the opposite side rises into a hill with some small bluffs. When I turned the light toward the splash, I could see a huge rock sitting in the creek. Little Piney is crystal clear, so it was easy to see. There was no way it rolled in, it had to have been thrown from the opposite bank. If it had rolled, it would’ve come to rest near that side of the shore, not traveled 50 feet across the creek.

We scanned the area for anyone who might’ve done it, but there was nothing, no people, no lights, no movement. Ten seconds later, the exact same thing happened again, another massive splash, another large rock.

By this point we were completely baffled, shining our lights across both banks, seeing nothing. Then something else strange happened. Our dogs, normally eager, adventure-loving trail dogs suddenly turned around and started walking back toward camp on their own. My dog, who is usually stubborn but always obedient when called, wouldn’t listen to a single command. The other dog followed her lead. We ended up having to follow them back. We didn’t want to leash them and drag them forward, so we called it a night.

The odd thing is, neither of us ever got that creepy or “danger” feeling. We weren’t scared at any point. After everything that happened, I expected some sense of dread, but it never came. The dogs clearly sensed something, even if subtly, but we didn’t feel it ourselves.

To this day, I can’t explain the behavior of the deer, the dogs, or the massive rocks hitting the creek. I camp all over Mark Twain National Forest, and in all these years, this is the one and only experience like this. I half expected to have a visual encounter after that night like you always say, be careful what you wish for but nothing else has ever happened.

Take care, Wes.

The Men in Black (MIB) are a well-known part of UFO and paranormal lore. They’re usually described as mysterious government-type agents who show up after someone witnesses something unusual—especially UFOs, strange lights, or encounters with unknown beings.

Here are a few well-known cases people often talk about:

• The “Niagara Falls MIB” Hotel Video (2008)

Hotel staff reported a UFO sighting. Days later, two tall, identical-looking men in black coats entered the lobby. The security footage circulated widely because they looked eerily unusual.

• Dr. Herbert Hopkins (1976)

A man in a black suit visited his home after he investigated a UFO case. Hopkins said the visitor:

  • Spoke in a robotic monotone

  • Didn’t seem to understand everyday objects

  • Told him to stop his investigation

  • Suddenly became weak and left abruptly

• The MIB at the Point Pleasant Sightings (1966–1967)

During the Mothman events, multiple witnesses said MIB-like figures:

  • Questioned locals

  • Showed strange badges

  • Acted confused about human customs

The Men In Black May Not Be What You Thought They Were

The episode is available in the members section. Jason shares a series of encounters with a creature over a span of 13 years in Oklahoma. On two separate occasions, he actually got a good look at these beings. All of his encounters happened within a 20-mile radius, and in one of them he describes a behavior I haven’t heard in a very long time.

It’s been a rough week for me. I mentioned last week that I was fighting a sinus infection, and it just kept getting worse. By Monday the fever hit, and that’s when I knew it was more than just a simple sinus issue. I finally went to the doctor yesterday, convinced it had turned into pneumonia, but he told me it looked like bronchitis. I’ve been up most nights coughing, so it’s been a tough stretch.

For tomorrow’s public show, I’ll be replaying an episode, but I didn’t want to let my members down tonight. We’ll be speaking with Jason, and his story is remarkable. By all accounts, he should not have survived COVID, and I’ll let him explain how he pulled through. Jason also shares a series of encounters with a creature over a span of 13 years.
