Just wow…This episode gave me a crazy idea. Since Wes is trying out a new format, what if he hosts a live hypnotic regression on the show (ie Wes, Hypnotherapist and the BF experiencer). The experiencer could remain anonymous if desired. Maybe David Blalack could be the first. I wonder what kind of additional details we could learn from his Alien/Bigfoot experience.

You’re right..yea live would be too risky. So prerecorded/edited to remove sensitive personal information. I think hypnosis would bring Sasquatch chronicles to a whole new level of research. Imagine all of us reliving Wes’s encounter firsthand. Also Wes mentioned unaccounted for/missing time. The things we could learn.

I know every one loves the guy from Dixi Cryptid. If you like a down home southern accent and a little guitar music then you like this guy. He does read a good story. What bothers me about what he does is that he does not care if the stories he tells are true or not. He says that he is not an investigator and that he is not trying to prove that the creatures exist….”we are all about the story,” he says. That is fine. That is his business. However, if I walk into a book store there are signs that tell me if I am in the “fiction” or “nonfiction” area of the store. When you watch a movie they will tell you if it is “based on a true story” or they will just give you the name of a fiction writer.
When dealing with this topic I think it is important to list what kind of “story” you are telling. Is it a true story, an embellished story, or is it total fiction? Are we walking through the “fiction” or “nonfiction” part of the Bigfoot/Sasquatch/ monster, story section?
Most of the people who listen to Dixi Cryptid and his other venture were already into the topic when they found him. There is enough confusion about these creatures already without blurring the topic by adding the literary skills of someone with a great imagination and a theory to push. Some people believe that the creatures are unpredictable menaces while others believe that they are the gentile forest giants. My main concern is that people are taking children out to look for these huge things, many times in areas where they are known to roam.
Let’s be careful about the “stories.” Nobody really knows much about these things. You really do not know who is telling the truth and who is pushing their own agenda. Some people just need attention and can tell a story real well, true or not true. There is something addictive about the subject matter. It seems that certain people just cannot get enough of the topic.

Thanks Wes these guys are awesome, i Love the Southern pace, very beautiful.

I’ve been having a nagging question..why do Sasquatch screams, from so many seperate accounts, sound exactly like a woman being murdered by being torn apart? Why would they do that, and where did they learn to make that particular sound? Also were the people sure a woman wasn’t in distress?

This part really freaks me out, please any good non horror movie explanations welcome .
    Love and Peace for all!
