Zecharia Sitchin (July 11, 1920 – October 9, 2010) was an author of a number of books proposing an explanation for human origins involving ancient astronauts. Sitchin attributed the creation of the ancient Sumerian culture to the Anunnaki, which he stated was a race of extraterrestrials from a planet beyond Neptune called Nibiru. He asserted that Sumerian mythology suggests that this hypothetical planet of Nibiru is in an elongated, 3,600-year-long elliptical orbit around the Sun. Sitchin’s books have sold millions of copies worldwide and have been translated into more than 25 languages.
Sitchin’s ideas have been resoundingly rejected by scientists, academics, historians (including Sumerologists, Orientalists and Assyriologists) and anthropologists who dismiss his work as pseudoscience and pseudohistory. His work has been criticized for flawed methodology, ignoring archaeological and historical evidence, and mistranslations of ancient texts as well as for incorrect astronomical and scientific claims.

Oh no, not this again. Zacharia Sitchin was proven a fraud by true scholars of the Sumarian language – which Sitchin was NOT. He made up his stories to promote a false narrative. Look up “Sitchin Is Wrong” to see all the evidence

If you have’t already take a look at a book called Everything You Know Is Still Wrong. It’s relevant because Pye derives from the topic at hand. If it weren’t for Pyes book, this comment wouldn’t exist, neither would my interest in the topic.

I think I may buy Lloyd Pye’s book. I heard him with Art Bell back in the 90s. This was after learning about Zecharia Sitchin in the early 90s when Art Bell and C2CAM first came about. It was then that I read Sitcchin’s first book The 12th Planet and was fascinated by his research. I then followed with 4 or 5 more Sitchen Books. That the Sumerians knew more about our solar systems 6000 years ago, then we did 600 years ago is beyond amazing. I remember that Sitchen stated in the 12th Planet that Uranus is blue and Neptune green in, I believe, 1976. And yet we did not know this until around 1986 during the Voyager explorations. And his statements about Nibiru being a Planet way way beyond Pluto and probably about the size of say Neptune, is now accepted in the Astronomy world is extensively being looked for, maybe the Webb Telescope will find it. Altough they call it Planet X and I am sure they dismiss Sitchen out of hand if they have even heard of him. One aspect I find very hard is that the Annunaki could live on such a planet that has to be extremely cold with no natural light. That is unless the extraterristials used this planet as a base so as to not be seen and to conduct whatever their true agenda is on our planet and such.
