World Bigfoot Radio: Jack Tessier

Duke writes “Interview with Jack Tessier, the founder of A.C.R.O., and the first cryptid conference in Australia! Jack shares some of his field expeditions, track casts, database stories both from A.C.R.O, but also from other Yowie researchers across the country! Jack mentions a trail cam photo from Nigel, (shot is included here, as well as other classic and rare Yowie images!) Part 1 is mostly about Yowies and the Black Panthers being sighted down under, Part 2 covers other Aussie Cryptids, some lesser known, but some very likely to exist, as well! The YOWIE is the Aussie analog to BIGFOOT.”

This is part two and Duke writes “An interview with Jack the Cryptozoologist, the founder of the Australian Cryptozoological Research Organization as well as the founder of the only cryptid convention in Australia, he shares the many reports archived in the ACRO database, some of his experiences, as well as general legends, rumors and sightings of unknown beings in Australia, Tasmania, and New Zealand. This half he tells us about the “little People” of Australia, the Junjudee, as well as the likelihood the Thylacine may still be lurking, and eyewitnesses accounts, and a SIGHTING of Australia’s most deadly and feared cryptid, THE RIPPER LIZARD, Megalania!”

Loved hearing about australian cryptids. I was lucky enough to study abroad in Perth and then travel extensively for most of 1993. It is unbelievable how vast and desolate most of Australia. Until you experience it its almost impossible to imagine. Anything could be out there. And the tropical rainforest in the north are as hard to travel through as anywhere even in the dry season. The Daintree Rainforest still has tree ferns basically unchanged from the Cretaceous. Nothing would completely completely surprise me. Thanks for the show.

I wonder if the yowie is a more ancient creature than sasquatch given that Australia has been Land-locked for longer than any other continent, I have read true or false cannot say that when the first people ( aboriginal people) arrived that Australia was already inhabited by different tribes have not found any more information about these tribes. PS. Good to hear new show were can l find it. P31(3’5

A thylacine track can not be mistaken for a bigcat track here’s why a thylacine’s hind leg is very similar to that of all marsupial species this is to say that after the hock in the leg the foot is much more elongated more similar to that of a kangaroo. This causes the thylacine to canter instead of run like a cat the dynamics and should show up in the track, but I have seen overly large cat casts, dog casts and I am sure yowies roam Australia. Thanks duke and Jack for the show again

By the way, BOTH shows include a few minutes of video at the beginning showing pictures of things we are talking about in that half of the interview. Don’t miss them!
