What were those mysterious lights seen across San Diego?

ABC 10 News writes “On Monday, June 27, several hovering lights were spotted over the Pacific off the coast of San Diego. The lights, which were around long enough to be filmed by several people in the city, caused quite a lot of confusion when they were posted to social media.

You might be unsurprised to learn that many people’s explanation for the fireballs was aliens from outer space, as though the first contact from extraterrestrial life would come in the form of hovering over a city for a few minutes, before going home.

“These were coming back and going, moving different directions, and all of a sudden coming as a cluster together,” one witness told ABC 10 San Diego. “It was definitely not of this world.”

Others guessed space junk burning up in the atmosphere or military tests of new types of flying machines. But the orange-red flare-like fireballs over the ocean had a more obvious explanation: they were ship flares.

The US Coast Guard confirmed to ABC 10 San Diego that the lights were flares, which they believe were expired flares launched by the US Navy as a training exercise.

This is good news for anyone in fear of an alien invasion, but bad news for anyone who might one day need to use a distress flare, who now knows a good proportion of potential rescuers will see the lights and instead of sending rescue will merely think it’s E.T.”

The coast guard “believe” (guess/imagine) it was flares. No confirmation, still say it.
The crazy part is how many people were in sight of that and completely oblivious. Something as obvious as that can be right in their face and they don’t see it. The other crazy part is that the people that did see it, phoned Sesame Street news to get answers. Good luck with that.

I’m not sure if the people supposedly in charge are mentally challenged or if they think we are, or both, but flares is the worst explanation possible. They were obviously consistent with regular electric lights that you would find on an aircraft or boat or even a car, they exhibited zero properties of flares, well other than being a light source, I myself believe they were definitely swamp.gas..
We really need to do something about the people in charge of our institutions, I think they must be inbreeding or something, they are getting more cretinous by the minute, God forbid anything real or important happened, these dopes would be as useful as 5 year olds, judging by their tiny IQs.

Given the fact that the government has now admitted that UFOs exist, I’m kinda surprised that the US Coast Guard has suggested it was flares. Flares would not pulsate, flicker or move in different directions, etc. More misinformation. They think we’re stupid.
