What Is This On My Doorbell Camera

A listener writes “Thought I’d send this to you. I have no idea what this is. Just showed up on my doorbell camera. My doorbell registered it as a package delivery. I wasn’t expecting anything. I opened the door and didn’t see anything then went back and viewed it.”

I think it might be a bug and the light is making it look more then what it is. What do you guys think?

It’s a Spiderweb!!!…I get them all the time on my cameras. It’s probably really long & getting pushed around by the spider or a light wind…. I freaked out for hours the first time it happened to me….then I went outside and broke it!!! LOL…Sorry it’s nothing exciting…sorry to burst, I mean break your web…Lol

My sister recorded something very similar to this and it turned out to be a spider web blowing in the wind. The web had the egg sac attached and another bug caught on the web. 🕷️🕸️

What Kelly K said. That is ambient light being reflected off a spider web being blown about in the wind. I do IT for the City of Omaha and one of my projects is security cameras. I have seen that same thing dozens of times.
