We walked right into a creature

A listener writes “Hi Wes, I really don’t know how to put this other than I’ve had an encounter. I’m not interested in go on air or even sharing this publicly. I can’t even describe what I saw other than a monster. It most definitely wasn’t a Bigfoot, Sasquatch or yeti…. What I saw was canine through and through.

I was walking my girlfriend home, and we walked right into a creature. Literally face to face. No more than 7 yards. I know because I am a competitive shooter. Judging distance is kinda inherent. This canine was wider in the chest than my own shoulders were at that point in my life. At that point I was a high school athlete. I ran the mile and two mile relay and was a wrestler. I was fairly decent at sizing up an opponent. This animal was wider in the chest than mine and the waist was skinny, about 20”, but remained on all 4’s. If it had took to two legs it would have been over 7 foot tall.

Not one person I have told has believed me in what I saw. They think I’m crazy now. Not dealing with that well. This thing has messed me up. I don’t go into the forest by myself at all any more for any reason. I just wanted to get this off my chest and stop baring this on my own. I have not seen anything since.

I’m starting to feel crazy, like maybe I didn’t see what I THINK I saw. The only thing is I can’t shake it. It is burned into my mind like it happened yesterday. It’s like I can still smell it. That’s how fresh it is in my memory.

Sorry if this is a ramble of incoherent gibberish. I don’t even know where to start. You don’t need to reply, I know you’re a busy guy. I really just wanted this off my mind.”

I believe you! Too many people have run into similar creatures to not believe these monsters exist. I wish you would reconsider going on Wes’s show for your own benefit as well as the others out there that are still too afraid to tell anyone and are dealing with this all on their own. Thanks for coming forward!

I believe you too. I am happy that I haven’t seen one, but it is incomprehensible to me how some people can refuse to believe what others have seen. There are just too many reports of sightings. I have been made fun of for even saying that I believe what others say they have seen. Isn’t that nuts? The point is that you can’t worry about the people who won’t listen. You are NOT crazy but you may want to consider getting some help to reconcile your feelings. There is no reason to carry this burden alone. I am sure that Wes can point you in the right direction. Please know that there are a lot of people who do believe you and you can help others who struggle too by telling your story .In any event, I am praying for you and wishing you the best.

You aren’t crazy, just terribly unfortunate to have had this run in. Those things are scary and maybe consider telling your story…..we need more people to share their encounter to make the public more aware of what’s really bumping in the night.

Id love to hear thjs person tell their encounter!! Everyone here will believe you man. Talk to wes or vic of dogman encounters. We want to hear what you have to say. Not enough dogman encounters are shared!

Yes, how many times have we heard people who were reluctant to come on……at the end say they are starting to feel better having talked and been believed ?! Hope you reconsider, God Bless

    You’re not alone.
We too know these things exist. Remember humans as a species have always been fearful and scared of the unknown with a right to be. We’ve made up a myriad of stories about these oddities to ease our minds.
You’re at the head of a spear. It’s always worse out front. Try to make peace with your fear. Acknowledge it. Let it work its way through you and then let it go. Don’t cage it. Find people who’ve had experiences similar and talk about it. Freedom is in voice not silence.

The incident has been traumatizing for you. How has it effected your girlfriend at the time? It would be cathartic to discuss it with Wes. Not that our opinions mean anything but we know what the experiences have accomplished

I know how it feels to carry this around with you for years and no place to go share it. Ii was 45 years until I finally decided to contact Wes. I suffered the ridicule of mentioning my BF encounter to those who laughed. I actually felt some degree of liberation after coming clean on the show.. The kind people who reached out to me via this forum was also therapeutic. You are not alone and you WILL NOT be ridiculed here.

I’ve found its best to keep my encounters to myself and not share it with people who don’t already have from kind of reference about these things. Although one person who knew about my interest came to me one day telling me some friend of his, a female, was hiking and had stopped along the trail to meditate, and at some point she looked up to see a sasquatch a short distance from her staring at her. She was able to see it good. It didn’t go away. She got up and left with it still there watching her. She was totally creeped out.

    Would love to hear more.
So hard for people to wrap their minds around things outside their comfort zones/belief systems. Hope sharing even just this much helps ease your burden. ✌️
