A listener writes “This year during camp season, my husband and I heard some strange vocalizations. It was the end of April around 10:30pm at East Fork State Park Campground in southern Ohio. There have been other encounters there according to the BFRO (we also spoke with someone from the BFRO and reported this encounter). About 10 years ago, in April as well, at East Fork, I heard these same vocalizations. I would love to talk more about this encounter with you and have listened to your show for a long time.
I know what we heard was not local wildlife (although you can hear coyotes after the vocalization) and any evidence can be considered good evidence. Attached is a recording of it that is posted on SoundCloud.”

It seems there is strangeness everywhere in the forests. I think I might go back and read some of those childhood stories about the lore that was being passed on.
