Tonight’s Show: I Thought I Shot A Man

Spoke to the eyewitness and he said “In 1981 I was in North Louisiana and I came across this creature. He came from around a tree that was about 6 feet from me and we stared at each other.

I wasn’t sure what it was but I could tell by his facial expressions he was mad and working himself up to attack me. I shot it and I know it was a lung shot. I could describe every detail about him. This has weighed on me for the last 40 years, I have only told one person about it. It bothers me that I shot but from the way it was acting I thought it was him or me.”

    William, thank you for coming forward. Sorry that you have endured anguish about this encounter. I think we are so ‘civilized’ living the way we do these days, not being in tune with nature and being familiar with what is out in nature that when such a situation arises, it does leave one possibly feeling like you have, especially since this was not something any of us expects to see out in the woods.

    I cannot blame the guy on the surface, Something you thought was a fairy tale is standing 6ft away, Im sure he did think his life was endanger, And it might have been, Cant wait to hear the story

    North Louisiana is one of the best place’s to have an encounter their every where especially along the Ouachita river. If WES ever calls me I’ll be glad to tell y’all about them. Don’t feel bad young man I would have shot him too

    Yes, I am very, very interested in the outcome also, 6ft huh? wow, that means the Sasquatch was 3 feet from the end of your barrel, and if the Sasquatch was, as he said: “working himself up” that means the monster was releasing an “adrenaline dump” which means according to wildlife biologest, Dangerous wild game is getting ready to release “holy hell” on the one who is about to do them harm, and they become 30% more aggressive, 30%, harder to kill, for example, a grizzly bear full-grown male 850lb can cover 10 yards At 30 mph. and will be on you in 3/4 of a second! You would have to shoot it with an instant kill shot in less than this time. Even then, its forward motion hits you with 800 lbs in that 3/4 of a second and will knock you over, and even if shot well, It takes grizzly several minutes to realize it’s dead! and in that several minutes, there will not be enough of you left to call for help. And being this is a Sasquatch supposedly in the 10ft range, close to the 1000lb range a 3 ft lung shot will NOT bring about death quickly especially when the adrenaline is kicking in and one is that close and the other lung is supplying some air to the blood. Folks, please understand I don’t want to act like a “know it all” or sound pompous but I have heard now approx 15 stories of supposably Hunters who have shot at and hit a Sasquatch, on here and other sights, I just think many hunters deserve the credit of not being a bad shot at Sasquatch with not killing one, but I do enjoy very few of some stories that are very truthful in my opinion. I would like to let WES know this sight is interesting and many stories I roll my eyes at, but there are a few that I play over many times mainly because of the situation that they are in. So I am very interested in this story ends.
