I wonder if they have a picture of the overall track way. If you guys have a picture showing the surrounding area of the tracks it helps to see how the talks fit into the landscape. This won’t completely answer the commenter ‘ s questions bit it might help to see the context the tracks sit in. Always set context is my motto.

Depth…it was heavy. My clients (two) back in November (hunting) got growled at repeatedly with a closing to their location with each successive growl. The last growl was an internal organ mover and they put the side by side in reverse and backed out of the road they were on. The road only allowed for the width of the atv. They concluded that whatever was making the growl would just appear on top of them if it continued on the path its growl was on. That meant they could not have seen it first before it got to them. We went in to the location about 4 hours later and the leaves were several inches thick and footprints were impossible but, I continued until I found a hog waller (feral hogs) about 10’x10′ area…at the edge of the far side of the waller I found a ball print and toes that was 8″ wide. I did not have my cell phone so I could not take a photo. The toes were at least 4 times my toes size. I concluded it had jumped the waller and continued further into the swamp. The depth on the ball of the foot was what was so impressive. This thing had to have weighed hundreds and hundreds of pounds to have made that depth of print. This is on a very large tract of private land on the Flint River in Crawford County GA. We were the only people in there…I lock the gates behind us when we go in for safety. Both are very experienced hunters from southeast GA right at the Okefenokee Swamp and neither said they had ever heard anything that sounded like that growl. The older said it sounded like the MGM Lion the size of an elephant.
