Tonight we’ll be speaking with Greg and Bob. Greg’s family has owned a cabin on Priest Lake in Idaho for years. Back in the early ’80s, Greg was out on the lake with a friend when he noticed an overwhelming, foul smell. Looking up toward a ridge above them, he saw movement and both he and his friend caught sight of a creature watching them.
Over the years, Greg says they’ve heard strange vocalizations they couldn’t identify. Beyond the screams and yells, the most common sound he describes is something like a baseball bat striking trees.
According to Greg, the activity has never really stopped. Later on, Bob became close friends with him and set up a spot on the opposite side of the lake. In 2020, Bob says he caught a glimpse of a creature near their camp.
I’ll let them share the details in their own words.
After that, we’ll be joined by John Boston. About 36 years ago, he wrote the humor/adventure classic and international bestseller Naked Came The Sasquatch. John is a historian, and now, at 76, he continues to research and investigate Sasquatch phenomena. He blends elements of real accounts into his fiction, creating stories inspired by reported encounters.
In addition to being an author, John hosted his own radio show for many years and worked as an NBC news director.
I don’t usually read fiction, but John is such an interesting character and I enjoyed our conversation so much that I ended up purchasing his books.
