Tonight’s Show: Growing Up On The Navajo Reservation

A listener writes “Love your show! My wife and I just started listening to your podcast by recommendation of a friend. After I had told them about my encounters with bigfoot, skin-walkers and much more.

I mean, I have seen bigfoot on three separate occasions. Twice in the same area, the same road, on the Navajo reservation. Once in California visiting my grandfather’s reservation. Also had heard it do that crazy howl when I was fishing on the reservation as well and my father was with me during the howl. Knew it was bigfoot right away. We are outdoorsmen and hunt every year. I ran into a cougar last week bow hunting for elk. We were like 20 feet from one another and we had a staredown contest. I wasn’t afraid, I was just focused (flight or flight).

As well as run into bears same situation, just an overwhelming feeling of focus in case I had to fight these animals to survive. But when I ran into bigfoot, much like a lot of your other interviewees, I had a terrible feeling about it. Hairs standing in the back of my neck and I just didn’t feel comfortable. I mean, I’ve played college football. Grown into a big strong man, don’t fear much especially growing up on the Navajo reservation. I’ve seen some really crazy, unexplainable things. That was frightening for sure, but I was taught how to deal with those things. Prayers and what not. But running into bigfoot is the only time I’ve felt like, there really isn’t anything I could do to survive if it decided to attack.”
