I would be happy to support DW, but I do not appreciate the fact he can’t be professional and stop with the foul language. At least this time he did spout off ‘mofo’ a time or two. See, I have a nephew who I’d like to send DW stuff to, but his mom wouldn’t like the language, and the guy’s trying to clean up his act also. As far as that goes, I’m sure I’m not the only one who doesn’t appreciate the foul language. But, past that, I agree, he’s a good story teller, and narrator and I believe he could be more if he wanted to, just as Wes has done. Thanks Wes for sharing this DW with us.

(New Jersey) I agree M99. I actually spelled out the BS word in a post yesterday, and regretted it. There’s no reason for foul language, especially when youngsters are on the site, which they should be! Good reason to keep it rated “G”. Having said that, I really didn’t notice any cursing in his post. Maybe in previous ones? I’ve also noticed-not so much on SC- posts filled with hate and vitriol on other Bigfoot sites. I know people have strong feelings about the subject, and those who study/write about it. Nevertheless, it’s a fascinating and mysterious topic, and there is no need for mean-spiritedness or foul language.

Right on Glen. And if you think little kids don’t pick it up, think again. A friend of mine is a Nurse Practitioner for a poor clinic. One day she said a mom came in with her two pre-school age children. While the nurse (my friend) was writing notes the kids were playing with toys and talking. She said they were using the F-Word, among other things, and the she looked up and told the mother, ‘There’s no reason those children should be using that kind of language, and it’ll hurt them in the long run, it’ll cause them trouble’. Anywho, ’nuff about that. 🙁

Don’t know what to think about this dude. His podcasts seem to be credible, but it seems like he never has an actual “live guest” on his show. It’s always second or third person. Not knocking his approach, he seems likable and personable, but then again, what do I know.

@Bal G ~ DW says he’s more along the lines of an entertainer, rather than a researcher, and he collects stories to read. People contact him, he meets them, they write the stories and he reads them. We really love to listen to Dark, but he hasn’t had much of a presence lately. My favorite was the one about the alligator man a guy who’d had a flat saw walking one night. The man said he got that feeling to hide and was so very glad he did. He stepped back behind a tree and waited. A few minutes passed then he saw a man with the head of an Alligator walk down the dark street. Now, that’s scary!

I stopped listening to DW for a while now. I listened to one of his live streams about 2 months ago and he seemed to be on a real power trip. He talked about banning “m*therf*ckers” if he didn’t like what they said in the chat room, bragging about drunk driving, blah blah blah.. he really wants to prove that he’s an alpha male. And he also made false accusations about child endangerment towards a couple of admins in a facebook group that I’m a member of and it caused one of those admins to be temporarily suspended from her jobs due to the false accusations. He’s a real drama queen and I don’t care much for him.

Oh, yes, I do recall the yacky yack about the banning stuff. It turned us off. That’s why we haven’t listened to DW. Nah, I’ll just stick with Wes. Too bad though.
