Unknown Territory writes “On June 1st, 1987, 16-year-old Theresa Ann Bier, of Fresno, California, went off on a camping trip to the rather remote area of Shuteye Peak, in the scenic Sierra Mountains with a man twice her age, to search for Sasquatch. She never returned. What happened? Find out…”

Who the hell lets thier 16 year old daughter go camping with a 43 year old man? ????
Did a bigfoot abduct her? Entirely possible.

Hmmm tough to say. Could have been either one but you’d think if he had done it they would have found some tiny shred of evidence by now. Very interesting!

“Let’s”, in the states a 16 year old can claim independence and sue her parents for support.

Horrific true crime, whatever happened. Makes you wonder if his main interest in her was to use her as ‘bait’, in order to lure in the subject he was so fascinated with. If he just wanted to molest her ( she was under 18 after all, still a child by law, not an adult), he could have taken her to a motel in a city, or in a Denny’s parking lot, or any other location. That also goes for if he wanted to do her harm.
Maybe he felt that the best way to have an encounter would be to take her, on a false premise, on a ‘camping trip’. Very sick dude, no matter what. Poor innocent girl.

Would like to know if he had taken a lie detector test n what the results were. Sad story, and yes kinda strange a 16 ye old camping with a 43 yr old, and that’s what the media wants us to focus on but the fact is something is definitely taken people in the wilderness of American and our government does nothing to help about it because they already know what it is. That’s a fact and that is the real crime.

I’m wondering if this girl was a run away? How is it this man was with her in the first place? Did they camp in separate tents? I wouldn’t want to sleep with some old man at that age, even six feet a part. The story reeks with conjecture. I can’t believe someone would be such a liar and then changes the story & still gets away with the crime. I don’t know, but seems he should be more traumatized if he saw a Sasquatch, let alone one that drug this girl off and he saw it. Very creepy and very sad.

This guy has an interesting voice. Bizarre story. She was a pretty girl too, can’t imagine what her family went thru.

Why did he insist on the Sasquatch kidnap story? Simple. He’s just smart enough to know that being deceptive on a major component of the story will seriously skew any polygraph results, making them inadmissible. Too bad they didn’t have someone trained in “deceptive speech analysis” have a crack at him.

The change of story makes me feel he’s guilty. If they were separated, how does he know what happened to her? Any adult in charge of a child isn’t going to lose track of them in a remote area, especially if you know sasquatch are around. If it was Squatch and the local group was familiar with him, it’s possible they took the girl and let him be.. but I doubt it.
