The Trailer Monster In South Tillamook County

A listener writes “When I was a kid my family owned a dairy farm and my best friend owned the dairy farm across the valley. As kids we were warned not to go to deep in to the woods on my friends farm by my dad and my friends parents.

When my dad was in highschool my friends parents had a trailer house on their dairy and when they were all hanging out this thing would come down and pound on the walls of the house. They stabbed a knife threw the wall and it beat the house so hard it nearly broke threw the walls…when it was time to leave my dad would scramble to his truck as they blasted shotguns out the door as cover.

They had several encounters with the “monster” and my friends dad actually shot it one night and it never came back. Up the road the neighbors apparently have chased bigfoots threw the hills. I was wondering if my dad is willing if he could talk to you about it.”

Tried to get my husband to hike with me through the Tillamook forest but he had know interest. We live about 2 1/2 hours from there. He knew there have been sightings around there and has no interest in seeing one. He didn’t believe one existed until I had him trapped in the car for a two hour drive and had him listen to Wes and Woody’s encounter.
