The Strange Disappearance of Two Canadians

Top Mysteries writes “I’ve come across what might be one of, if not the most unusual disappearance that I’ve ever covered on the channel. It’s one of those disappearances were some of the elements of the incident just don’t make sense together. Two Men Disappeared From a Remote Cabin in Canada under very unusual circumstances.”

Sounds like Missing 411, but they were found. Interesting! This gentleman does a good report in analyzing the conditions and evidence. I completely understand every word he speaks. No accent inhibiting my understanding. Keep up the good work.

Richard is right, very good job reporting. Were the authorities scared to continue the search? First, my sincere sympathies to the families of these two experienced bushman.
I gave the mystery some thought. If there was a sasquatch attack, say it was believed that the animals were in the cabin, the men would start shooting. In my mind’s eye, I see the creatures threatening them after dark and the men shooting and one animal starting to break in, then retreating under fire, thus the shots inside the cabin. The creatures usually leave around daylight. That morning the men make a break for it, leaving the provisions there for a faster unencumbered retreat, and locking the door. The creatures retaliate and the men do not make it out. If they were out of ammo, maybe the burns on the victim’s hands and arms were his attempt to ward off the beasts on their way out, such as with a log from a fire if the trip out got too late. I am sorry for their families. They were very brave to start a search so soon after the suspected attack. These creatures could have still been in that area. The cabin owner should be very careful and not go there alone or unarmed (or at all if you’re a big chicken like me). Thanks, Wes. Awesome story. These type of stories scare me the most.

The North Nahanni River hey? Right near Deadman Valley, Headless Creek, Headless Range, and the Funeral Range.
Well known to many prospectors and historians.
