      Yes its crazy! Its way off but you can still clearly hear it. Just imagine being in the same vicinity of whats making the sound . Ive heard of people getting roared at, at a close distance. That has to be scary as hell.

    Interesting to hear so many sounds!. It would be useful to know some details about the recordings.
    How many and what kind of recorders were used?
    Were the recorders hugely expensive, or fairly modest in price? The batteries seemed to run all night, which is good.
    Where were the recorders placed in relation to camp?
    Built-in microphone, or external mike?
    Were the recorders hidden, or in open view? (Walking through the water to breathe on the unit is certainly telling.)

    Whats crazy is the average person probably Wouldnt even acknowledge the wood knocks and right the distant roars off as a bear lol. Being a bear is understandable with the roars. But the woodknocks now only something with hands can de thats. A human or something with hands. Very interesting audio
