A listener writes “I used to go deer scouting with my ex brother in law, back in the late 80s and the 90s. He was a bow hunter mostly, he didn’t like to shoot animals with a rifle because he thought it more cruel to the animal.
He would take me with him In his Toyota pickup truck. I’m physically disabled, so it’s hard for me to get out in the terrain, woods in Oregon. One trip we took was thur a forest service road that led to an opening that was on top of a hill that looked out over a feild. My brother in law said he was going to go down to the open area took for signs of deer. He was gone for approximately an hour or hour and half. I was by myself in the truck. And about a half hour of waiting I felt the truck move, i called out my brother in laws name, no response, the truck moved again. Then at the corner of my right eye I could see a black colored figure crawling next to the truck. Is was too afraid to turn my head to look at it.
The next thing I noticed the things face was right next to the window. I was sweating by then. All I could think was when was, when was my brother in law coming back from his scouting. I was terrified. It was probably 15 minutes or so and my brother in law opened the driver’s door. And we left and drove off. I didn’t tell him what happened. I just kept it to myself. They later divorced. And I haven’t seen or spoken to him in over 20 years.”

No kidding! Ewwww. Here’s what got me, “… next thing I noticed the things face was right next to the window.” ?
Can’t wait to hear this one. I wonder. Did the guy turn and look into the face of the “thing” at the window? Did they stare at each other? Also, were there others crawling around too? Thank goodness it didn’t nab him right then and there!

Beyond Scary. Can’t wait to hear the emotion from having one at your window and helpless to move. It reminds me of the scariest thing I witnessed as a kid ( well actually the 2nd scariest ). This was in 1963 while watching a favorite show The Twilight Zone with Rod Serling.
The episode was Nightmare at 20,000 thousand feet, with then unknown and very young actor William Shatner seeing a gremlin on the planes wing at 20,000 feet. Then he opened the window curtain and this was staring him in the face. Yikes I jumped higher than I ever had.

If he was there for over an hour, I imagine the truck was off. Windows were most likely cracked or all the way down. Was this creature just looking at him face to face?

Holy crap! That belly-crawl is the ultimate stealth mode. There’s no other reason for that kind of ability. I would have cried or died….
