A listener writes “I was hiking in a State Park last Saturday in Lorain Ohio and went about 5 miles off the main entrance trail and started to smell a rotten meat smell and the entire forest went dead silent.
I had the thought that there was something watching me. I heard branches breaking and started to head over to the middle of the clearing and snapped a few photos of what I thought was something peeking behind a tree. I watched it for maybe five minutes and was pretty sure I saw an eye blinking (it was pretty far off). I then heard noises behind me that made my hair stand up and turned around again and the figure behind the tree was gone. I quickly left, I’ll attach the picture and see what you think, you will see a standing log in the middle of the picture that appears black in color next to it, if you zoom in you can see what looks like the outline of a shoulder head and possibly an eye.
It should be noted there is a long stretch of telephone lines about a mile away, I also went over there and I saw a few dozen trees twisted and contorted as though they’d been shaped into arches.”
