Great description. Hope it doesn’t ruin his love for camping. I was at salt fork twice last month. There are sightings there every Year. It’s the Bigfoot Mecca in Ohio.

That’s so brave for a young child to come out with this account. It’s not easy even for adults to talk about their encounters. This child’s bravery is very much commendable. I have a high respect for people, which more often than not have everything to loose and nothing to gain, who find the courage to lay everything out on the table and tell their story. But even more so for children who are willing to talk about their own experiences. It can’t be easy. I hope this kid got a sense of relief as though a weight has been lifted from his or her shoulders by sharing this with us. That kind of courage and bravery is admirable

I happen to think it is a wonderful drawing! Better than I could draw! I live close to Salt Fork and I love to go there. It is ok to be afraid of the dark, lots of grown ups are, too. It is important to always stay with your group and never go off alone. Thanks you for sharing!

I’m An adult that hates being alone and still turn on every light in the house…which makes my husband sooooooo angry! I commend your bravery in telling what happened to you. Good job!

I saw a ghost when I was about the same age, and I still remember the picture of the scenario, that I drew at school over that scary event.

What a great picture, and you were very brave throughout your encounter! Wonderful job, and thank you for sharing your experience with us!

    Thank you very much,
    Chris

I agree with the comments above. You did a wonderful job illustrating the site setup. I want to encourage you to always take a notepad/paper and pencil every camping trip. That way you are always ready to draw or write!

I want him to camp with me so I don’t freak out! And I’m 50 yrs old! Did you dad say anything about it that you can remember? When I told friend that I seen one in ohio while we were camping it changed everrhing and have been called crazy ever since! Ty for you bravery! You are an inspiration to us all! Perhaps some big chicken grown ups will man up and share Thier stories as well . Since you we’re brave and came forward with you own .
