We have all had a gut feeling which turned out to be correct. Аn ominous sensation minutes before receiving bad news, the feeling someone is watching through a crowd proven correct, a decision you just have to make but don’t know why, a friend or family member popping into thoughts moments before they send a text message.
What if this is more than just a coincidence? What if it is, in fact, some sort of 6th sense? Is it possible that since the earliest days, human beings had a sense which goes beyond sight, hearing, smell, taste, and touch, a sense which, rather than lost over time, has merely been obscured?
This may sound like the trailer for the latest superhero movie or at least something out of new-age spiritual teaching, far from it.
The concept of a 6th sense has existed throughout the annals of human history, and, increasingly in modern times, is being discussed and studied seriously by science.
So, what is this supposed 6th sense? Does it exist? And, if so, just what can it do?

This sixth sense and probably all psychic type abilities, to me, would probably come from unknown energy sources that are hardwired into the collective consciousness of the Universe. Call it a gift from God although some that have it might not see it as a gift, and others do. JMO.

Many say children have gifts that they loose as they get older, extrasensory gifts. When my son was little he used to hold sticks, play swords, grandpa’s cane, ect, constantly. I can’t remember how it got brought up but I think he asked me to touch or feel something, while handing me a stick. Long story, short he was shocked to hear that I couldn’t ‘feel something’ with objects….in fact his reaction was puzzled and perplexed. He still explains that he could get the same sensation while holding objects as he could with his hands. It stopped sometime in late elementary school…..I forgot why I told this story, lol. ?

Because he has that gift Denise. I have something as well just not sure what to call it. I hear people who have gifts lose them as they age but mine seem to get stronger as I age. I think when we become aware of it we either choose to strengthen it or put it aside. It’s all fascinating to me and I’m always looking for someone who can tell me more. Have you asked your son if he’s been able to open up to it more since he’s older? I know, I’m being nosy…not in a bad way tho.

Keep searching Lisa B. This has been reported with children and you may be correct. Use it or loose it. I am glad you decide to use it.
